That's exactly what I am thinking too. That the other timeline is just in Great's head while he is dying thanks to Tonkla. Great wanted to be more with Tyme and he tried to make it work in his head and in his mind Tyme was way nicer. But in the real timeline Tyme only used him for his revenge and was never serious about Great 😟
Honestly, I think I like Great in the real timeline more. But on the other hand, Great and Tyme were sooo cute in the other timeline. But damn, now everything makes sense.
