It’s the connections that frustrates people. because they are basically disrupting the market and students vacation for dollars. What happened was on July 3rd or something diliraba fans found that sword rose will air on 12th on national newspaper ( CCTV usually publishes the schedule on that). And then the fan accounts and the drama did all the preheating. Until yesterday it was confirmed to release on the 12th. Then tencent pushed this drama forwards impacting all the subsequent drama schedules and actors schedules. Ngl I hope this king drama doesn’t do well (even though it most likely will do well. Costume dramas on tencent have been struggling bad (cough cough the drama u mentioned) so they doing what youku is doing with in the name of law. This narcotics drama pissed like 100 million drama fans (literally) especially dilirab, lusi, xukai, fans as well as school students.

LOFG, and sword rosé won’t affect MR considering both others are not tencent exclusive. The issue is the narcotic operation is S+ and it robbed the slot which will affect all other summer boradcasts as well as actors subsequent projects. For instance Diliraba’s love on the torques island will be pushed back to the end of year because of this. Luckily XK doesn’t have other dramas scheduled in the near future.

Apparently tencent pushed CCTV for this drama. Coz there’re viewership (8%) is so bad these days unlike youku with 22% .

That’s why I’m saying. They announced it just today. Last night I checked before sleeping, sword rose was planning to air on the 12th. And I woke up in the morning it’s completely changed. You never know with drama schedules

Not a rumor. Tencent confirmed schedules for 7/12 and 7/28 two crime dramas. MR rumor is that it will be pushed back to mid-late August if they decide not to simultaneously air with sword rose. I don’t think they will air MR with Sword rose coz that will affect viewership but you never know what tencent is thinking. Also there’s Cheng Yi drama rumor I don’t know how true it is. All I can say is that fans and students are pissed pissed right now. They complain how in schools they get subject education and during vacation they get moral education

I hope they do. Diliraba fans are already planning to watch the drama on Iqiyi, not tencent. And some are boycotting this drama king ( a sarcastic name people have given coz all other dramas have to pave the way for this king drama).

Haha that would be funny. Youku’s now popular serious drama in the name of law is the reason Tencent is taking this gamble to air two serious dramas. Coz princess gambit is kinda underperforming and tencent is loosing this summer battle. So they are doing what youku is doing

It’s a CCTV drama so it’ll get the license quickly, especially if they have the influence to jump the broadcast queue.

This anti drug drama hasn’t even received the license yet but tencent has postponed all there planned dramas to make way for this. Talk about capitol paving the way (connections ). So the entire summer vacation schedule is a mess from tencent. Dilraba’s drama was also forced to move to 28th July. People are mad mad mad coz what the hell is tencent thinking by not airing costume dramas during summer vacation where most audiences (students) are home. By the mid- end of August, is not a good schedule coz students starts prepping for school. And September 3rd is a military parade, meaning it’s impossible to do marketing. Looks like July is not possible coz of the two serious dramas.LOFG will air on tencrnt, mango and hunan satellite tv, so there schedule won’t be as affected. Looks like MR will air after LOFG which is a sloppy time slot. Cheng Yi’s drama has not made any noise regarding a potential release date in July-August. Loves ambition can air in July coz it’s an S drama I think (if it’s S+, then it can’t air in July) and it’s the other drama alongside MR fans are frustrated about.

Okay so apparently, MR was supposed to air in July but tencent wants to air the anti- drug drama which is also S+. Unfortunately a platform can’t promote two S+ dramas simultaneously. Of course alasos are frustrated coz these type of drug, anti-trafficking, police dramas (aka tribute dramas) usually air from September October window. Don’t know what tencent is thinking but I’m lowkey pissed MR doesn’t air in July

Only rumors I’ve heard so far for this month is 15th July and 20th July. I really really really need this so bad I hope we see it in July, mid August is way too far
