1)Yu Zheng is Xu Kai’s boss. He’s a shady bad person who has done so many things to XK and artists under his company, Huanyu Entertainment (Bai Lu, Wu Jinyan, Wang Xingyue). If I have to describe him, he’s extremely narcissistic, loud, liar, cheater, and obnoxious. Everyone hates him.

2) Xu Kai’s filming schedule which is organized by the production team is very bad. They notify him to show up on set with full makeup and costume on, saying he has very important scenes to shoot. Then they let him wait the entire day until the rest of the cast is done with their scenes to shoot Xu Kai’s scenes. That day on the 23rd, they didn’t even shoot the scenes, even though they told him to be on set at 4pm. According to the shooting sheets (a sheet with all the shooting information) most of his personal story line has not been filmed. For instance, court scenes, war scenes, other solo scenes. Fans suspect it’s due to money issues, as these scenes, unlike the ones that have already been filmed, need more safety preparations, more on set preparations that need money. But this is just a fan speculation. No one’s knows why they are not being filmed, hence fans have requested the producer to film the Male leads storyline. Fans fear that they have deleted a lot of Xu Kai’s scenes because even though they have been shooting to 2 months, they still haven’t finished writing the script. Moreover with only a month of filming left, the fans just want the producer to film Xu Kai’s scenes.

3) But the producer (surname Gao) had a bitter response to the fan requests on weibo. This angered the fans a lot. Moreover after that he released to pictures of the drama which are badly edited( especially the horse riding one). This was apparently a deliberate attempt to fuel the fans anger. People say that Yu Zheng and GAO had colluded into screwing XK over. Fans are saying that Gao is Yu Zheng 2.0.

Update-as a response to the fan requests, the producer (surname Gao), posted a note on his weibo “laughing to death” which angered fans to the core. This shows how lightly he takes this . And just now he posted some pictures of the show, where they have edited the photo so much that XK’s horse looks like the donkey. Fans are exploding the comments section that GAO has disabled the comments. It’s like they are deliberately pouring fuel on fire. Fans say that GAO has been possessed by Yu Zheng. This whole situation had caused so much traffic that Yi ouchun ranks second in upcoming drama list as of 29/06/2025, with shen run at 57% and xie qingyuan at 43%

Basically some examples of mistreatment
1) on the day of Tencent’s conference (23rd), the crew has told him that he has an important scenes to shoot. So after he finished the variety show filming (22nd) with tian xiwei, he flew back the same night . But on the day, they let him wait until the evening at 4pm to call him to the set. This is why xiao tian asked him why he was still wearing the previous days clothes on that video call. After that they called in on set wearing full makeup and costumes and only did 2 hours rehearsals. They did not shoot a single scene. Cfans call this a like being bullied as a Japanese.

Coz all the battle, war and court scenes need more money coz of martial arts directors, safety arrangements, etc etc. they have only filmed the FL scenes which does not need those and can be filmed in puyuan. For XK plotline they need more arrangements, which people suspect they don’t have fundings for.

They have been only shooting for 2 months and only less than a month left. How can they film these heavy scenes quickly unless they delete his scenes or work him day and night like a dog.

I noticed people asking how fans know these stuff. There are some fans who are rich enough to buy the script , tho they can’t release them. Some fans have big connections to the production team or XK team. Also the prod team usually releases the filming schedule sheet for a certain date. Even though it only contains the time, which actors are gonna shoot for the day. Fans can always buy information (the rich ones)

I love the novel since I’ve been reading it for a while. But it’s not a special plot, and it’s like the basic plot you get with a good lady x general storyline. Before the filming started, people told that the novel is not that special. But I personally love it.

There’s not necessarily a second FL. But other than the female lead, the other most significant female character is Xie Qingru, her sister, played by Ke Ying. This character does not have a love line, and is kinda a bad character

As a random observer and a fan, I feel like he has changed over the past couple of years. He’s not the big stupid inexperienced newbie. He is patient, smart and knows what he wants. With all these going on I wonder what he actually wants and thinks about the issues that his name is tied to.

I have a bad feeling that XK is trying to terminate the contract with Yu Zheng, hence all this issues with this drama and listening to the wind order.

Apparently even though he goes to work in the morning, they let him wait all day on set while they shoot other people’s scenes. Also they have reportedly have not shot the male leads upbringing and his storyline in general. Xu Kai is known to be extremely fast in shooting scenes. His efficiency is extremely high. So with only less than a month left, I don’t know if they can actually shoot all the scenes or if they will cut down his parts. Moreover, just this afternoon, after all the fan requests, the producer posted on weibo “laughing to death” directing towards xk fans. That move is pretty nasty. His team’s incompetence is sky high. But I truly hope that XK will have his scenes.

Here’s an explanation of this tweets.
So apparently, XQY gets tricked into marrying Li Congxin as a concubine and her sister as his principal wife. Then XQY firmly says that “I’m not gonna get married” in front of everyone which is in one of the Twitter posts below. Then the Xie family people beat her up, which explains the blood in zhou ye’s mouth. Then Shen Run comes to her rescue to the Li mansion where all this was happening. He comes with an imperial edict from the Emperor arranging the marriage between Shen Run and Xie Qing yuan. They get married on the spot. Cnetz are excited and making fun of this saying, even though we see brides getting snatched, we’ve never a house being snatched (regarding the moment SR and XQY getting married at Li Congxin’s mansion, which is kinda of a slap on the Xie and Li families).

If you see my comments I made here before they started filming, it carries a hint of disappointment. Because people kept telling the novel is not that good, the production team keeps changing, the constumes are bad etc. so much negative press. I really really didn’t want this drama to happen. But when I saw the constumes, the directors and screenwriters track record, the cp interactions I started to get interested. Also I’m reading the novel now, and I’m personally hooked with the smart FL x commander ML plot. So it’s okay if you don’t feel interested. I’m waiting for them to finish filming so that they can release a trailer. Just give it a shot when it comes out. Whether you will like the drama or not will depend on your liking ☺️☺️

I heard qingyuan and li congxin was supposed to get married. But qingyuan gets swapped with qingru, without li congxin knowing. Today XK is back on set and will film the rest of the weddings scenes, where apparently he gets married with qingyuan. Some say they get eloped but I don’t know what that means.

Since tencent hasn’t even announced an air month, let alone a date, 2M is an extremely good number. However it’s merely an indication of anticipation. It absolutely does NOT guarantee viewership success. Some dramas underperform despite having millions of reservations but some does extremely well despite low number of reservations. International versions of the said platforms open reservations based on if the upcoming drama has license to air in different regions. Currently we have no option to reserve this drama on WeTv, it’s only available in tangent video China
