Ive heard different things about it. Apparently they have either adjusted his scenes using AI but don’t know about that, coz unlike MR he has a pretty significant role in that. Usually when they AI swap, they announce with which actors face they swap it with. Like they did with Yang Zi and Peng Guiying drama

LOFG was supposed to air in April, but got pushed back due to Li Mingde issue.Its supposed to start airing between 5-8th August, not sure about the date. MR was supposed to air in mid- July after Princess Gambit which is supposed to start airing on the 20 something June. If MR is to get postponed, that means it’s aftet LOTFG, in late August. People are mad coz 1) it’s not the summer vacation Tencent promised about. 2) Second highest reservations , S+ and supposedly a key summer vacation drama getting pushed around. 3) So many dramas air during the summer, the more you push it back, the more visually fatigued people become— the show might not reach its full potential with these reasons. Late August is when school starts, so many kids are the audience and numbers will be lower by then if they push it back.

These are opinions of c-alasos not mine, as to why it’s annoying. BUT it’s just a rumor. One random melon owner posted it and all other marketing accounts ran with it causing a fire from fans. Who knows if this is a marketing tactic or not.

Now this melon owner said it’s August. They are saying MR is a key tencent drama. Legend of the Female General is supposed to air at the beginning of August so if this gets postponed, this will probably be after that. By that time schools in China will reopen. Honestly it’s infuriating how they can’t schedule the drama with the second highest reservations as of now (almost 2M).

Tencent has a conference this 23rd, which fans want XK to go (don’t know if he can actually go with his schedule). I don’t know about Iqiyi

It has something to do with tencent. Going to these events is more connections, you get to meet directors, investors etc. That means more good scripts such as 800 meter radius (Tencent X Theater project). But more importantly, it’s about his weird ass shooting schedule. He rests on normal days but whenever he has some other schedule or a flight to catch, they ask him for shooting, causing him to look tired as hell.

It has something to do with YiOuchun filming. People are requesting the production house to allow him to go on the 23rd. The filming schedule is already bad, where he get a lot of shooting days whenever he has to fly somewhere and he rests on normal days.

Only her fans are watching and praising the drama. All other passer by people (the general public) and even some of her fans themselves are fed up with this xianxia genre. The general public is visually exhausted coz it’s so overdone unless there’s an interesting plot line that will keep people in . Bai Lu I think took a big break in 2023/2024 and filmed a lot of dramas last year which are coming left and right now all from Iqiyi. All these xianxia has something to do with Yu Zheng. The summer vacation has started and all the dramas are trying to air. Tencent is trying to look for a safe spot for MR without the competition from another big production. So many passerby fans are waiting for MR coz of the theme, makeup, director. They will be stupid to rush and fumble this. The newest rumor is that this will air after Princess Gambit (which will air late June or early July competing with Yang Zi’s and Li Xian’s drama). So MR will probably be mid to late July

The production team breaking the contract stems from the different between the synopsis submitted for filming license and the investment attraction synopsis. These two were like having the same character names in two different dramas. For example imagine if ABAY has the same plot line but the characters names are Yao Zhiming instead of Han Ting and ChengHuan instead of JiXing. That’s how much they have changed the plot and the drama title. Plus from the fact that the story is basically from a IP called Tang A Wu Ming (you can search the book on MDL. The second ML is still a rumor. XK is the only one who’s going rounds with this drama rumors. His team and YZ refuted the rumors. People don’t know where these come from. They released the Wang Bei Luo melon to overthrow these controversies, which kinda worked as the last time people posted posts on XHS with this drama tag is on 19th May I think. So far there’s no development but I would expect some noise when YI ouchun nears wrap up

So the Listening to the Wind Order, according to an industry insider got filming approval last November (2024). At most they MAY have signed a letter of intent, which I think can be cancelled . The actual contract will be signed one month before filming. Still have time for anything to happen
