So many people here hating on the FML... let me tell you something.
Gil Chae is not the typical naive and boring FML character that some of you are used to watching, her character development is strong. She is not perfect of course, BUT she isn't the worst FML in the dramaland. She saved EVERYONE in this drama, never gave up and refused to let anyone behind to save herself. When facing danger situations she adapts quickly and she was loyal till the end. One of the best FML in historical dramas for sure.

Yes, this is one of the best dramas of 2023. Keep in mind the Focus of this drama is not Only Romance (there is romance). This drama tells the story of people that were impacted by a certain event that changed their lives and show how Society view Women Back then.
there is a lot of character development too.
