I came back because of Tay and I’m glad I did. I actually enjoyed ep 12. I can’t wait for the segment with Gun. I’ll watch anything with any of the four pillars of GMMTV.
Honestly, the only thing that will piss me off massively would be a redemption arc and kumbaya moment for mama…
Love your response. I do agree. I have three adult children and they know I adore them and I know they adore me but if I step out of line ( and I have)they put me in check. I am disappointed in Tian’s response to his mother. He knows she is evil and a killer. She needs to be punished and not rewarded .
Here’s a tip when watching lakorn: always remember that the plot would not just want the viewers to have their…
Thank you for responding. I do understand. That’s why I stopped watching soap operas years ago, At this point in my life I want the fluffy lovey dovey stuff. That’s why I can applaud the series but also acknowledge it’s not my cup of tea. That’s why I also gave it a decent rating and will not change it. I’m really not frustrated. I taught literature and writing for 20 years so I do understand the techniques used. Again. I appreciate your taking the time to respond. I like this site because I can freely vent and I actually enjoy replies like yours which provide a different perspective and still be respectful. Take care. You only have three more episodes.
I have come to the conclusion that this should have been titled Li and Jia. I know many will disagree but I am so sick of watching Tian sobbing and wringing his hands while his mama kills with no remorse. At this point Tian, his crazy momma, her lecherous sidekick, and his weakass father should all be burned alive. I’m rooting for Jiu, his siblings, Yang and his girlfriend. These last three episodes have really turned my stomach. Kudos to the publicity team. We took the bait. This was no love story. More like how to murder and get away with it. I do applaud the actors. They all did an awesome job. This will not go on my rewatch list. In fact I’m done watching. I’ll read the spoilers for the final episode.
Funny seeing people complaining over seeing Pharm and Dean being here and having scenes when we also had Win Team…
I agree. Love seeing how they are an integral part of the story and how the friendships overlap. I think for those who may not have seen UWMA it might seem intrusive and unnecessary. However, it motivated me to go back and rewatch UWMA.
It’s time to end this tragedy. If you think Li and the black witch are done you are dead wrong. They are not done tormenting and killing. This is really becoming quite boring. Tien needs to grow a backbone and get he and his brother as far away as possible from these wicked witches. How can you even like let alone love a mother like his. She has ice water running in her veins. 13 episodes of angst and mayhem. As much as I love both couples I cringe every time both mothers appear. 24 hrs a day of plotting and seeking revenge seems to be all they live for..,.lol…it’s a great lakorn.
ICYMI — photoshoot of the couples and a very well written article on the drama for anyone interested.https://www.lifestyleasia.com/bk/living/people/to-sir-with-love-on-the-love-between-two-men-our-humanness/Film’s…
Thank you. I enjoyed reading and getting the actor’s perspective on the character and how he prepared himself for the role. I also appreciate the actors stating they are heterosexual with no fear as to how it will affect their fan base. personally feel if more actors in BLs would just be as open and honest it would cause less angst and anxiety for the actor. Shipping to me takes away from the authenticity of the person/actor. Acting is their job. If we believe in the role the actor is playing that means he/she has done his job well. Again, thank you for sharing.
Overall, I personally like this series. Of course there are flaws, but despite having low expectations, I found…
I agree with everything except the comment about Perth. I just love Perth and am still waiting for them to release Tell the World I Love You in the USA. LOL
I will miss this series, especially becasue of the acting of leads which was at a very high level, the chemistry…
My personal favorites this year so far have been KinnPorsche, Love Mechanics, I Promised You the Moon, Semantic Error, Not Me , The Eclipse and now My 12%.
This proves again with the exception of Even Sun (WTF were they even thinking??!!) that Wabi Sabi has some of…
I agree. I am currently rewatching UWMA and immediately questioned by they have not cast Ohm and Fluke in another project with the same quality. The actors are talented and deserve storylines which are well written and plausible.
