Tbh I've been waiting for this series for ages. After UWMA I've read the unofficial translation for Hemp Rope…
Thank you. You make some good points. I like the three brothers too. I don’t think we really consider how much our behaviors can be impacted by our family dynamics.
Win and Team hit all the right buttons…loving these two more and more. I personally like the way the relationship is progressing. It may seem slow but I like that they both have these moments when they pull back . That seems more realistic to me. The second couple is growing on me. We also see what family issues Win has to deal with also.
People should be allowed to live their own truth, whatever it is. I applaud Mean and I base my evaluation of his projects on the quality and substance of his performance.I have watched him in at least two other projects before this one. He was really good in each one. One was a bl and one was not. In each one there was at least one character that was gay. In one there is an actor who has played in BLs but in this one his character is straight. If you pay attention bl actors are branching out and playing in lakorns and other genres. They are actors and should not be afraid to voice their opinions. I look at an actor like Mew who has currently acknowledged he has a lover but for fear of repercussions from his fans has not disclosed publicly who she or he is. To me that is outrageous. Again, I have mixed feelings about Remember Me. There are some really good moments so far. The Em character is the most upsetting to me but the actor is doing a good job if the intent was to make his character insensitive and self serving . I hope at least he and Name are friends at the end. Few people actually end up with their first crush in my opinion. Anyway that’s my rant for today. Take care and be safe.
I mean all authentic and good BL keeps getting 7.4-7.6 ratings. Whats wrong with people? It is truly made with…
I agree . I respect Mean and I wish him the best. He is really talented and I feel he has a bright future ahead. There are a lot of serious messages in this bl. It reminds us that life is full of highs and lows…
Lol…when I was a senior in high school my friends started playing with the Ouija board just like in the series. So fun …we were serious too until my dad found out and started talking about conjuring up ghosts and the evils of dealing with the occult. Lol… I am so having flashbacks. Can’t wait to see what happens next. I like that BLs are exploring other themes.
I am loving this. It’s good to see Ohm and Fluke playing roles involving such intrigue. Maybe I like it because I’m one of those people whose dreams can be so weird they seem real. I like seeing Ohm in a role where he’s a baddie. So far this is fun to watch.
I read something that made a comment in reference to this series and I could not remember having watched it. So I decided to watch it. Sure enough I had watched it before and had put it out of my mind. I immediately recognized three of my favorite actors from The Eclipse which I love. I also found this series interesting and entertaining until the Bam character was introduced. And then I realized that’s why I did not put this on my rewatch list. Seems like when trying to create drama or fill up space the writers throw in a female to create problems for the couple. On top of that after what she did it was swept under the rug and she gets a boyfriend at the end…made no sense. Could have left her out and had eight or nine episodes instead of twelve. With that said I do recommend this series. Overall it was entertaining.
I agree with your analysis. We are not even halfway through the series. What I love aboutKdramas is thereare so…
I get you. Sometimes I have gotten so pissed off at how a character was written I just have to have something. I generally also have a problem with how female characters are written. Either they are portrayed as dumb as rocks or the wicked witch from the east. Lol. That’s also why I generally enjoy this site. We can voice our opinion without being personally attacked. I’ll be interested in your analysis after a few more episodes. Take care.
I really liked the first three episodes, so amazing! Ep 4 and 5 were also good but ep6 I couldn't finish for three…
I am a big fan of Son Joong Ki and I absolutely loved Vincenzo. None of the villains, including Vincenzo was left unscathed. Proper justice was served on the worst two. There was no insipid romance thrown in needlessly like what appears to be happening in Reborn Rich. I hope I’m wrong and that the story gets back on the right track. Or maybe after Vincenzo my expectations are just too high. I will try to hang in there.
How can you pack so much into a mere 10 minutes. I don’t want this to end. There is such a feeling of impending sadness. I love this cast. I want more of them.
Episode 6:Seriously why did they decide to make the FL character that way?! The ML is supposed to be smart, sly,…
I agree with your analysis. We are not even halfway through the series. What I love about Kdramas is there are so many twists and turns. Nothing and no one is what they appear to be on the surface. For me it’s best to not speculate . It’s a thrilling mind game.
This was the best part for me. I never get tired of the gay parents. Probably because gay parents are not usually featured. I hope more series will show this family unit and do so in a positive way. I assume there are happy gay families just like there are in heterogeneous families.
A Happy Ending that l was honestly not expecting. Now I'm back to not having anything to watch ㅠㅠ
If it’s a bl you want to watch I suggest Between Us. If it’s a good drama I suggest the kdrama Reborn Rich. Also, Three GentleBros is not a bl but its main leads are popular bl actors. I’m watching all three and enjoying each one.
Lol..I’m sorry but it took Li entirely too long to finally die. She spoke to everybody but the cooks and the vendors on the street. I even took a bathroom break and when I returned she was still dying. A true lakorn even in the death scene. Everybody was crying. Everything was over the top.
These some badass women….my kind of lakorn(soap opera). Somebody did their proper research on BLs. We bl purists dont mine how many bodies are sacrificed as long as our bl couples are still alive and happy together at the end. In the case of this lakorn that also included the side couple. Great job! Proper justice was served! No last minute reprieve . The writers got it right. Kudos to the entire production team. I don’t usually watch lakorns but this was an exception because of the bl arc. Thanks also for keeping it to less than 20 episodes and not boring us with unnecessary tedious side stories. This will go on my rewatch list.
