Right now I am having mixed feelings. I think the series is very intriguing and the actors are doing a great job. Unfortunately it does remind me of bl actors who have actually been involved in similar situations because of unscrupulous managers. I feel bad for the actors. Hopefully, these issues are being seriously addressed by the industry. Stories like this remind me that this is fiction but the actors are real people who have lives to live after the camera stops rolling. I don’t want to live vicariously at the expense of anyone’s mental help. I have come to value your comments. If I’m overthinking this let me know. Take care.
All is well in my world. I got the ending I wanted. All the pieces were tied up and wrapped in a nice bow. I even got an open acknowledgment of a throuple. That in itself is a first out of the hundred bls I have watched. In the USA we love our soap operas. A heavy dose of cheesiness mixed with some crazy incomprehensible storyline and a touch of skin is what we crave. Most time it makes no sense but for us it doesn’t have to. We also love our actors. We may hate the characters but never the actors. So this has been an entertaining journey for me. I loved the entire cast, especially Yoon. I look forward to their next project. This is already on my watchlist. Now I’m on to Vice Versa, The Eclipse, Coffee Melody and Oh My Sunshine Night plus War of Y. Take care.
Just started watching and I love it! Looking forward to how the three of them finally come together as a real family. I am a sucker for a good romance. Add a cute child and that’s it for me.
Utter disappointment. Jerry suffered too much in this entire relationship. Damien business, life, previous marriage…
I get your point but unfortunately in most relationships I’ve seen it takes a lot of years to achieve that balance that results in a really stable, loving relationship. I think it’s even harder in samesex unions. But if the love is genuine the relationship will survive. As far as the cheating scenario that too is just so realistic. Unfortunately there is always some thirsty male or female lurking in the shadows just waiting to make his/her move. Don’t hate on me. That’s just my observation from observing others and having been in a 50year relationship with my own soulmate who is now deceased.
Well I am hanging in there and glad I did. I’m on ep 10 now. I think the cast is great. I am really enjoying each cast member, especially the band members. They each have their own issues to deal with and that is so fun to watch. I am binge watching. I love the energy and the overall vibe. They are young people in search of a dream. Reminds me of when I was young. Boy was life a series of hits and misses, ups and downs, missteps and so many challenges. Looking closely there are real social issues being addressed…
Saint, Lay and Fame are the three reasons I am giving this a try. I am not a fan of the brother against brother troupe with the overbearing female as the foil. However, the cast seems like a winner. The three I cited are good actors and have the skills to act in any genre. I have read the other viewpoints and I look forward to seeing how my analysis coincides with that of others. Also, thanks for the spoilers. I can watch without stressing over the ending. Lol.
Recap! I watched Special Episode 13 so you don't have to!Today's special episode begins with...a commercial for…
Well done! I didn’t even have the energy to watch the entire special clip. You deserve a special award for patience. I do wish each actor the best of luck in the future. I’m really not mad at them. I’ve had to take a crappy job or two in my life too. Take care.
Relationships are hard. What seems easy is not always so. Miscues, missteps, misunderstandings. It’s never smooth sailing. Sometimes you are like two ships passing in the night. That’s what I like about the main couple. At this point I don’t know how it will turn out for them. Some couples find their way back and some dont. That goes for the other potential couples too. There are some cute moments . I’m going to hang in there until the end. Hopefully true love wins.
Totally agree! Instead of wasting time on Cherry, who’s not even in the novel, they should have given us more…
I agree but I’m ready to feed him to the tigers already so I don’t know if I could have handled any more than three episodes….still I am tired of the female interloper in BLs.
Kamol was given so many chances from Kim to let him know about his past. Kamol wanted to be blantly ignorant.
Hindsight I have to smile too. Obviously Day is someone important to him or he wouldn’t have reached out to him to help Kim.But I do wonder why Day left his employment.
Kamol was given so many chances from Kim to let him know about his past. Kamol wanted to be blantly ignorant.
Yes it’s not like Kim was hiding anything from him purposely. Hopefully he realizes this…and what difference does it make that Kim was with Day… unless Kamol wanted Day and was rejected…so many unanswered questions. I hope this does not end with a cliffhanger.
Nice body Dani…the tigers finally woke up…lol…lol..Cherry can’t shoot worth a darn…Kim must have bad eyesight too… it’s obvious it was Cherry….Dani is like an itch you can’t reach….love Kim and Kamol….got to have a happy ending.
This drama is not all that bad, it’s actually interesting if you are watching for a storyline and not hot scene…
I agree. I for one am really enjoying it. If I get a happy ending it will go on my rewatch list. With all the real madness going on in the world today this is an entertaining and delightful distraction for me. It’s a fantasy . It’s fiction. It’s obviously meant to make you laugh. Who punches a gangster with all his men around and lives to see another day. Lol I can’t wait to see ep 11. Maybe one of those tigers will come down from that high they’ve been on long enough to at least give us a growl.
It’s a good series but painfully realistic. In many ways it reminds me of Lovely Writer . It also raises other questions about the bl industry and the affect it has on their private lives. Excellent! I love it but I would not compare it to KinnPorsche or Not Me….all excellent but all very different.
I just finished ep5 and I am loving this series so much. It deals head on with real issues facing those in the gay community. Often not much attention is given to the young children. I’m glad to see how this was handled. I have a friend. He and his wife have a four year old whose hair is long like a girl. The first time his great grandmother saw him she called him a girl. When they corrected her she told them they need to cut his hair. I saw them all recently. They did not cut his hair. I also thought about a student I had who was in my 8th grade class. He was struggling with his sexuality and was bullied every day. Thank goodness he had a group of female students who rallied around him. It was we adults who failed him. I know we could have done more. I am glad that he felt comfortable talking to me and our last conversation before he transferred was a positive one. I often wonder where he is today. That was many years ago and he would be an adult. I too have grown. I went to a picnic this weekend. A friend’s transgender daughter ( she was a boy before) was there. I was glad to see how her family embraced her. She looked happy. For me this series has been both entertaining and educational. Forgive my ranting. Actually, you guys are my safe haven. I can say here what I still find hard to say to others. I’m getting there though. Thank you all. Take care.
