To be fair until ep10 I really liked her ! She was kind, supportive, I truly hoped she'd be accepting of their…
Yes, I think I would have felt different about her if she had not taken her to the lounge which obviously was a safe haven for same sex couples. But she was so giddy and fixated on Sangaew I knew she was going to be a problem. I dont think they really lied to her. The prince was nice to her but he never made any romantic gestures toward her. She herself could sense something happening between her cousin and him. I guess even when I was in high school I believed in being upfront. How do you really feel about me? I think as females we have to assume some accountability too and not feel betrayed when our feelings are not reciprocated. Be sad for a minute and then get over it! Anyway I have become too fixated on this series. I will be so happy when it is over and I can move on. Take care.
This is hopefully my last post before tomorrow but I am seriously starting to believe that some of our bl writers are downright sadistic. They really seem to derive pleasure from inflicting pain not only on their characters but on the viewers as well. If we went by their playbook then according to some bl representations being gay was and still is a life filled with endless emotional, physical and psychological pain and suffering. I know it wasn’t easy but damn…. I have never seen these many tears since Until We Meet Again. Personally, I am wondering when the next History bl will come out so I can just smile and revel in the joy of being a gay gangster or a divorced gay professor. I grew up in the sixties and I still remember going shopping with my gay cousin . We had a ball. I thought it was funny watching him twirl around with a colorful caftan while the sales ladies giggled and snickered. I was most impressed when the nightclub owner and her club gave a glimpse of what life could be. And the reaction of Sasin ‘ s friends was definitely a high note. Pin has been to the club. She seemed very open and unbothered. So for the writers to portray her in such a sinister and malicious way seems downright sadistic to me. Obviously someone feels that they need to fire up the hatred and animosity toward homosexuals. And heaven forbid if there were any parents who actually supported their gay child. At least the writers of Rearrange got that part right. Enough already. I look forward to your spoiler tomorrow.
I understand that everyone’s afraid of a Bad End! I admit I’m stressed too. But please T.T we have to think…
I want to believe you and would find it easier if Pearl and Peak were the only main characters but they had to make Perth a main character too and that for me is a red flag. I don’t want an open ended ending or the three of them looking at the moon together. I want the wicked witch gone forever so our guys can live their truth and not under the manipulative gaze of Pin. They don’t need her holding that marriage certificate over their heads and crying and whimpering because she is not getting her entitled time in the sack with Sean.
As he was taking off his shirt he looked so cold. There was no warmth or affection in his actions at all! What…
You are so right. My cousin married a guy who was figuring out hos truth. It didnt take long for reality to set in. They did the deed but she said they both knew something was sorely missing. You cannot fale true passion
At this point the only person I feel sorry for is Perth who plays the character Pin. I hope when she took the role they prepared her for the kind of feedback she is getting. If they told her people would feel sorry for her and be understanding someone sure missed the boat on that one. Personally, I saw her on a talk show with Peak and Pearl. It seemed awkward to me. They have her listed as one of three main characters but child please, this is a bl. ..,I came for Peak and Pearl….not a trouple! I had to turn it off. I will only look at interviews with my two guys and I am not apologizing. I hope they give us Peak and Pearl in another project.
For shine someone in the mdl page literally said this type of "strong female characters" are better than…
Well that is a new twist especially since I have looked at over 100 bls and it has actually been refreshing to see a lesbian character. The ones I have seen have been woven into the storyline nicely. Maybe my definition of token is different. Maybe the person was using it in the way that years ago in a straight series there was always that one gay friend. Lol. I dont see it that way but I guess that is the beauty of this forum. We get all points of views. Take care until tomorrow.

Well I didnt read that one. I am all for strong female characters but to use the label token lesbians is really offensive. I wonder if they were alluding to the lesbian characters in Laws of Attraction and the more recent Rearrange. In both I found the female characters more realistic and positive. I felt Dao reflected strength as a female in the way she responded to Naran’s confession. She gave him a hard slap which he deserved but then she left with her head up and never looked back. Dao on the otherhand pulled the wicked witch card out and played her hand with solid resolve. I didnt like what she did but I could respect her. She had played the dutiful wife with the knowledge her husband was gay. From the start we saw where there had even been some form of intimacy and she and her husband used each other for their own personal gains. But I hope no one sees Pin as an example of strength. That she is not. Yes she got the marriage she wanted but she didnt get the man she wanted. Unlike in Shine he is not even pretending to be happy. Again I dont see losing your self respect and having a mindset of getting a man by any means necessary as a form of female strength and tenacity. You are right. If Dao and Dhevi had been males the reaction would have been so different.
I actually think you used a lot of restraint in expressing your feelings. There are things I would like to say…
Lol…let’s just get it all out.I would have told Pin to kiss my ass as I grabbed my man and headed out the door and I would have told the rest of my sorry ass family the same thing.
If there is anything to get from this drama it is that no matter how much you may try you cannot make somebody love you. And if you have to resort to emotional and psychological blackmail that is definitely not love.
After watching ep 11 I hope with all my broken heart that the damned will get the end they deserve, unfortunately…
As he was taking off his shirt he looked so cold. There was no warmth or affection in his actions at all! What did she expect? I have seen other bls where the man was on the down low and at least liked his spouse and could fake it but there was not a trace of affection toward Pin. He didnt even try to pretend to want it.
If you’re STILL gonna defend Pin after this and even seeing the finale preview, then I feel sorry for you.Saenkaew…
I actually think you used a lot of restraint in expressing your feelings. There are things I would like to say too but I am a Christian…you know what…I got to say it…Bitch Bitch Bitch…I hope you burn in hell alongwith your daddy and your papa in law…and you can take your sorry as stepmother and that dumb as a rock grandma with you!
Once again I thank you guys for the spoilers. Watching Pin anymore would make me literally puke. I guess this is the year for bl bitches. Dhevi from Shine had the honor of winning the best bitch of the year award but drum roll please….a new winner has been crowned and her name is Pin. How desperate and low can she go. I cant imagine anything any more nauseating than to have sexual relations with someone you have seen kissing another person(man or woman) and who you know has had no romantic interest in you from the get go but is just performing like an obedient dog. Just the thought makes me cringe. I really have no desire to see any more tears from Sansi and Songsawat. Pin’s tears are borne out of her own misery and selfishness. I really have no empathy or sympathy for her. Making someone else miserable because your life is dung is no excuse. The poor me pity party does not move me. As for the best bl princess award ….that goes to Pha from Memoir of Rati. Now she is my kind of woman. This is one of those bls where the only episode I will rewatch over and over is ep7 when our guys were on the island alone and finally consummated their love. Have fun tomorrow. I look forward to your wonderful analysis.
Thank you for the spoilers. I am not surprised about Pin. I cant stand to look at her selfish evil face. I will wait for the spoilers for tomorrow before deciding to watch. When I saw Pin listed as a main character I had a feeling she would be the real thorn in their side. I have no empathy for her at all. What she feels is nowhere close to being true love.
I like how bls are all over the spectrum and exploring the endless realm of possibilities this year. There was Gel Boys and then Desire and The Journey to Killing You. Now we get a bl in a punk/goth setting. As a person who embraces the uniqueness of being different I am loving this. The first two episodes have certainly got my attention.
Yes! I think exactly the same as you. I'm sure there will be a happy ending! Otherwise, what would be the point…
I hope you are right but writers are so fickle. I still havent gotten over the bl where after going through hell and high water one of the couple drops dead at the wedding ceremony.
Your rationale.
