Not my cup of tea. I dont do wimpy men or doormat female characters. I also dont do using past abuses as justification for emotional and physical blackmail. I remember a cousin who had been mentally and sexually abused. She was staying with her sister during her recovery. Her sister’s infant was playing on the floor. Out of nowhere the sister who was in recovery looks at the infant and says she sees that bug ( pointing at the infant) and she is going to stomp it. Clearly she was having a mental episode. The sister responds with these words…if you make one move toward that bug I will kick your goddamn ass! The mental sister understood clearly . That is my world. I am actually nonviolent but I dont handle threats or manipulation well. I enjoy a good thriller but I dont think this is it!
I cant help myself ! I love me some Boun and Prem! And AJ and JJ are always a treat! Of course Barcode is the icing on the cake. Add Mark and Arun to the menu and I am in bl heaven. Its about vampires. That in itself means anything and anyone is fair play. Bring it on!
Wow! Victor is not holding back! What makes this series so good is not only the way the storyline is being skillfully played out but the acting is so damn good. I wanted to hug Victor myself! And whenever Naran and are together the sexual tension is so real . I also cannot say enough about the conflict in the streets. Outstanding ! Finally the public showdown between Naran and Krailert and Victor being rescued by Trin was nothing short of awesome. All the while Tanwa Is in his own psychedelic world, He is fighting his own personal demons but only he can provide the comfort that Trin needs. Apo and Mile continue to push the envelope and set the bar so high. They are electrifying. I cannot believe we are getting close to the end. However this ends it is already on my rewatch list.
All is well in my bl world. What a perfectly beautiful ending. Thanks to the powers that be for not keeping us in suspense. Any misunderstandings were cleared up in the first episode. I loved the time given to both couples. The contrast in personalities and lifestyles made this that much more fun to watch. I got my happy ending for both couples. I am not even mad at the grandmother. Kudos to the entire cast. This definitely goes on my rewatch list. Thank you GMMTV.
Really the thing I liked most about this series is the lying, cheating husband got what he deserved. Generally, too many kdramas I have seen give the husband a tap on the wrist and the sidepiece is almost celebrated. I really didnt like the ending . I dont see having a kum ba ya moment with the former mistress as something to celebrate. For me another great part was the husband’s funeral. I loved it! The wife’s declaration if love! Now that was reality!
I just bingewatched and I loved it. I dont think I have ever watched a kdrama that dealt with infertility in such a respectful and realistic way. I say this as a person who death first hand with infertility and all the emotional and psychological angst. From the constant clamoring of relatives to the old wives tales and home remedies they hit the nail on the head. Having the male turn out to be the infertile one is also territory not generally addressed. I felt his pain and disappointment since it was obvious he wanted to be a father. Another plus in my opinion is how they handled the young woman with the crush and the male pharmacist. It is naive to think that once married you will never be attracted to anyone else or vice versa. Let’s keep it real. My husband was handsome and very charming. I was considered attractive. We both had our share of admirers. But we weathered the storms just like our couple. Only death parted us after 50 years together. I gave it a 8/10 because I feel he should have stood up to his mother sooner. However, I do know of a men who were literally tied to their mother’s apron strings. Also, it was nice of him to befriend the coworker but his involvement with her son was a gateway to disaster. You dont buy toys for other children and not tell your spouse especially if you work with the parent. Overall, very good.
dmd, which must have less money, is doing much better in Khemjira and TNP
I think its a manner of taste. My current top three bls are Shine, Memoir of Rati and this one followed by I’m the Most Beautiful Count and Secret Lover.
I am in it until the end. Give me Boun Prem Mark Barcode and Aun any time and anywhere. I loved the fight scenes and Barcode changing from a bat to human reminds me of the vampires from back in the day. I love the humor and the tone. Maybe Boun and Prem will finally get to that kiss without an interruption. Lol
What an absolutely awesome episode. I love how it so cleverly exposes the personal and societal dilemma that our main characters are confronted with. As if you dont already have enough on your plate thrown in another fire cracker….your sexual orientation. I am loving it because just like in real life the solution is not always black or white. As Krailert knows firsthand the fallout can be deadly. There is so much to say about ep 5 but I have to leave this last observation. Naran is already so conflicted. He seems to be walking an emotional tightrope with his girlfriend/wife. Did she really have to remind him her daddy paid for the tickets to the event. And her friends seemed to fuel the fire. Krailert has become his safe zone. All she did was push him further into Krailert’s arms. Everyone has major issues. Is there a perfect solution and how much is each one willing to sacrifice when the stakes are so high?
i'm like 99,9% sure the kid is not thee's because this is not that kind of show. and by "that kind" i…
I agree with you on both points. Some people seem upset that the preview shows Thee and Pha with their baby. I believe there is a twist that even Rati was not aware of. Remember he has been away so I am thinking he just assumes the baby is theirs.
I have had mixed feelings about this series but as a grandparent I would want my grandchild to have another chance at life. I have lived my life. I know how it feels to truly love and I also knows the pain of losing the love of your life. I dont feel sorry for grandpa. He has had his moments in the sun. This has certainly been an experience for him but like he said he has no regrets. Now it is time to give his grandson that same chance. It reminds me of a situation where my husband was faced with a life threatening diagnosis. The best option was for our youngest son to be an organ donor. Without hesitation my husband said no….his son had his life to live and he did not want him to be constrained in any way. He never changed his mind. Of course since this is fiction anything is possible.
Ep 11 was so beautiful! It was not the dark and gloomy storm I expected. It was filled with love and hope despite the dreadful grandmother. I am so happy to see how the female fiancee turned out to be a true friend and the part the friends and even his father played in helping Rati get a proper sendoff. Now I just have to hold my breathe and hope there is still a chance for them to get a happy ending.
Based on the latest previews things are about to heat up. This s__t is getting real! Buckle up because I sense all hell breaking loose. Who is going to fall and who will be left standing? Personally, I have no idea and that is what makes this series one of the best ones this year. Get your tissues ready. The only thing I am happy about is this series is only eight episodes. More than that would be just too much for this weak soul to handle. If anyone is looking for a lala happy ending for either of our couples I feel you are going to be very disappointed.
Yes exactly that scene was so shocking tbh cause....idk I am also in the corporate world and if my boss came out…
I agree. I know this is fiction but I do believe writers and directors need to do their homework as to whether a certain scene is even logical. To assume your audience would not question the reality in my opinion undermines the intelligence of the viewer. Take care.
I don't think it even matters at this point how many of us novel readers (or people who have been following Boun/Prem…
That is exactly why I will continue to support Boun and Prem as well as the rest of the cast who have worked so hard. I hope there will be enough of us to drown out the haters and base our analysis on the quality of the work and not on some preconceived notion .
Nice episode nut I still dont trust Tuo’s boss. I also have my own personal viewpoint of the hotel scene. I was in the business world and business trips were common. Every one had there own room. It was considered unprofessional to do otherwise. And your supervisor certainly would not appear in a robe. Maybe times have changed but that still rubbed me the wrong way. I still sense trouble ahead. Of course Jun’s boss is a prick.
