I am really sick of Pin and the prince’s evil father at this point! I hate a female who is so thirsty for a man she will stoop to doing anything. She may get him but he wont really be hers! And the father is just ruthless! He needs to die a slow death!
I can’t believe the end is next week. I still have no clue as to how it will end but it has been a great ride. This is a hidden gem. It is so realistic. It reminds me how hard growing up is as you face life decisions. And as parents we want the best for our children but we sometimes get in the way. I remember my parents wanting me to take a certain path. My mom wanted me to teach. My dad wanted me to attend a college his cousin’s daughter was attending. I am so glad when I pushed back they reluctantly let me make my own choice. I have a friend whose daughter has always wanted to be an actress. At fifty she is still chasing her dream. She moved to a large city where she has been cast in various plays and musical productions. Along the way she picked up a couple of degrees. Her side gigs pay the rent. A young relative of mine is pursuing his passion for photography. Another young couple met in college and are chasing their dream of becoming musicians. The husband even toured with a popular recording artist. She sings at various nightclubs and has even cut a few songs. That father seems determined to stop his son. I sense some real resentment and a bit of jealousy. Is he afraid his son will achieve what he couldn’t? And Ack’s mother is wrong in thinking being poor somehow doesn’t give her son the right to love someone rich. From what I see the two actually have made each other better. If nothing more I hope they remain friends. Sorry for the length but there is just so much and I feel like we haven’t even scratched the surface.
So true. My cousin met a man and he seemed to be a perfect match. They both belonged to the same church. They both had beautiful voices and loved to sing. He treated her like a queen. But there was one secret they shared. He liked men. She married him thinking their love was enough. I attended the wedding. It was beautiful. Unfortunately reality set in less than a year into the marriage. He was unable to suppress his true nature. He could not meet her physical needs. They agreed to divorce. They remain friends. I just hope Pin is able to acknowledge and accept the ir love for each other.
a little reminder to yall if ur not ready to accept ur kids gender sexuality preferences then dont have kids (im…
I am sorry to hear that but I hope you are living your truth and are surrounded by people who love and accept you. Somewhere out there I have a young cousin. He should be in his early thirties now. He was in his teens when his parents discovered he was gay. His mother disowned him. His father physically and verbally abused him. We did not handle the situation properly. For awhile we were able to stay in touch. His grandfather and his aunt tried to reach out to him. But several years ago we lost all contact. I just hope he is somewhere safe and happy. I understand how the father may feel but I cannot condone physical or verbal abuse and rejecting your own child. I hope Pin does not become one of those females who believe the person will change with time. A relative of mind tried that. She married the guy knowing he liked men. The marriage did not last. At least they parted ways as friends. This series is hard to take but so good.
Wow! Wow! Wow! Episode seven was so beautiful! Our two guys have finally declared their love for each other and sealed the deal. They both truly look so happy. But we know this is the calm before the storm. Back home the storm is brewing. Fasten your seat belts. We are in for a hell of a ride the next few episodes.
I am reminded of the quote One man’s trash is another man’s treasure. I am loving this. It is just what I needed. It is entertaining and not gloomy and dark. Thank you GMMTV. I grew up on the vampire genre so if I want dark, depressing, blood cuddling vampires I know where to go. I came for Boun, Prem, Barcode,Mark, Aun , Kay and the ever delightful twins. In fact I am having so much fun I am loving the hunters and the vampires. Life is too short to take some things so serious. Right now the world is full of treachery. Watching bls is my chance to fantasize . It is fiction. As a retired writing instructor I used to tell my students it was their story to tell and the one time they could create whatever scenario they chose. Will some people hate what they wrote? Of course. One well known writer of plays and movies often tells how awful the critics were when he started out. I think they called his plays trash..,,,but he kept going and pursuing his dream. Today he is a billionaire. I hope if by chance these young actors and actresses and the writers and directors happen to read some of the mean spirited comments directed at them personally that they will continue to pursue their dream and not be discouraged. I for one have been known to sharply criticize a particular character and/or storyline. If I dont like the music score I will say so or the set design, etc. But I will not criticize the individual actor or actress or writer personally. Now that is just me. If I find a series so poorly written or executed I know how to end my misery. I just dont watch it.
I just finished ep 6 and I feel sorry for all three, Prince, Sasin and Pin. Pin is naive and likes Prince but she is starting to put the pieces of the puzzle together. It looks like she will get her wish and be married to Prince but it will be bittersweet. From the clips of the wedding ceremony neither of the three look particularly happy. However, Prince and Pin will survive. I am most worried about Sasin. He is expendable. Prince’s father has already made his position clear and Pin’s father is only concerned about money. Both would have no problem having Sasin killed. Prince still harbors too much guilt over the death of his mother. He seems to be in a chokehold. Next week is going to be emotionally brutal.
This series just touches my heart in so many ways. Maybe it is because I have lost dear friends and loved ones. I so want a happy ending for Win and Nut…. but is there only one way to have a happy ending? I am just happy that the second time around they were able to confess their feelings for one another. And Chai and Ek have each grown so much. If theirs is just a really strong friendship I will be happy. Same for Biu and Lin. The person who stands to lose the most is Nut’s dad. In my opinion the worst that can happen to a parent is to lose that child without he or she knowing how much you loved them. Two more episodes. I am getting my box of tissues ready.
Each episode seems to be bringing me closer and closer to heartache for Prince and Sasin. Looks like Pin will get her wedding but from the clips neither she nor Prince look happy. Next week looks like Prince and Sasin will finally acknowledge their feelings for each other but I know their happiness will just be temporary. I am just not built for this. Time to rewatch To Sir with Love and Memoir of Rati.
The end to another great series. Jimmy and Sea are just so much fun to watch. Love how family friendly this series was. The entire cast was so good ! Of course this goes on my rewatch list.
Wow, I had to watch ep 1 a second time. I am so glad to see Tongtong(Jet) from To Sir, With Love and See (Boss) from Laws of Attraction. I only wish we got two episodes a week.
Krailert and Naran's whole story and their ending f*cked me up btww....
Yes I can see why you and so many others feel this way but actually their ending was a true reflection of what was happening at that time. It was actually an acknowledgement of what so many had to accept and endure. To me it was actually paying tribute and providing recognition to those who made the choice they did. Imagine if Naran and Keilert had made it to the USA. Believe me it would have not been the idyllic romantic life we would like to imagine. Keilert’s whole life was built around the military. He would have been striped of any rank. Of course there were those who managed but they lived in the shadows. They were forced to live on the down low. I commend BOC for maintaining the truth and integrity of the times. In my own mind I still can envision the two finding their way back to each other at some future time.
Love it! My personal version…. Krelert and Naran resume secret meetings and use songs instead of books to plan…
Its just a hypothesis but never underestimate what a man or woman will do . I am currently rewatching the entire series and as I have said before no one was without flaws.I am enjoying it even more the second time around. Take care.
