You’ve experienced it firsthand, my gosh what a nightmare situation you went through anyway I agree with you…
Let me clarify. I never really saw it as a nightmare. I always viewed it as a learning experience. People have their own reasons for doing what they do and many times it makes absolutely no sense at all. Certainly there were moments that seemed like a nightmare but intertwined in those moments were also some lessons in forgiveness and tolerance. Lol I guess I found out at a young age that I had aa very low level of tolerance. That is why I probably will pass on the episode where the baby’s mama does all she can to take the baby away from her father and the family that has loved her so much. Please keep me posted.
Personally Gwang Suk is starting to get on my nerves. I can understand wanting to help someone but she seems to be stepping over the line between being concerned and being intrusive. I hate when I say No thank you to someone and they continue to try to get me to do otherwise. Gwang Suk is a grown woman but she acts like an immature adolescence at times. I also think we can see the next drama unfolding with the brother and his baby’s . Also the issue with Seri’s parents continue. More drama. Will we ever have a moment of peace? While many may find the idea of multiple generations and extended family living under the same roof to be a wonderful idea I have experienced it and it is just like what is portrayed in the series. Nothing is private. Everyone is drawn into conflicts . Of course the good moments are shared but at what price. My mother was Gwang Suk. At one time her youngest brother and his family lived with us. Then my father’s youngest brother got married and he and his bride moved in. Other relatives followed. My mother just couldnt say no.I was witness to so much drama it is almost comical. One good thing came out of it….when I got married my mother wanted us to live in the family house which would have consisted of me, my husband, my grandmother, my uncle, her niece and her three children. I told her very politely no way. I had already watched others go down that road. So now we have the drama with the baby momma. I see a baby kidnapping in the works. I may have to sit out the next four episodes. Keep those spoilers coming.
I am really impressed by the three side stories. Each one focuses on the issue of class/gender discrimination as well as other societal issues. How each will fare is still not clear but each certainly has my attention. Frankly, I am rooting for each of the heirs even the son has been constantly badgered by his father so much that he himself often displays the same vindictiveness. The scene I love the best is when the prince stood up to the demonstrators and even sang the words to their anthem. Of course the love scene between our mls was just so perfect. I for one enjoy the sexual innuendos and visuals . NuNew and Zee have such beautiful bodies.
This is so good. This and Bangkok Boy signal a whole new direction in the world of bl. It is gritty and painfully gruesome with just the right touch of humanity and romance. I love it. I knew that guy was too good to be true. I hope that same dog gets a good taste of him!
I know we are in for a rough ride. This is not going to be smooth sailing. But I am loving this series so much. I already have my box of tissues ready. We already know a marriage engagement is pending. And given the time period we already get a sense of impending doom. This deserves a higher rating.
Really loved ep 7. We finally find out the reason for the breakup. As usually Krist and Singto are awesome. I am not an animal lover but after helping care for my son’s pet dog for over 12 years I was devastated when he died. Having our favorite GMMTV vet make a cameo appearance was sweet. The sidestory with Yong was also fun.,Who hasnt had an older uncle show up with a young thing on his arm? Suddenly, he’s wearing tight jeans and body shirts….lol.. I know some may have been disappointed but it was a win for me. Looks like we get some drama and chaos next week.
If you just want to bingewatch a bl that is just like a breathe of fresh air this is it. No toxic ex gf or ex bf, no homophobic parents, no spiteful friends. Just two people grappling with their own inner personal revelations and a side couple that is just as sweet and endearing. I personally have rewatched it twice already.
Short and sweet! Great for when you just want to take a couple of hours and just bingewatch a series with no intrusive ex or needless side stories. I hope to see the mls again. They were good together ! The music was nice too!
Cant believe we are coming to the end. Today’s episode was so good! It caught all the feelings that goes with growing up and facing the future….old friends, new friends, excitement, apprehension, sadness, loss! Even the situation with the two teachers was so realistic! It was like looking in a mirror and seeing a reflection of my former self! Even now I marvel at how we ended up intact . I am going to miss these guys.
I am from the older generation and I support being respectful and listening to what the mil has to say but in…
Thank you. This series has so many similarities to my own life. I know it is a fictional story but situations like this are a reality for many. That makes the series even more interesting to me.

Yes and I have to admit when my youngest son introduced his soon to be bride to me she was the opposite of everything I had imagined for him. He very politely informed me she was his choice and no further discussion was needed. I bit my lip and got with the program. 20 years later I am so happy I held my peace. She is the best dil in the world.
Just curious, about DS - the chairman’s mil - are there viewers that actually cheer for her? I know these weekender…
I am from the older generation and I support being respectful and listening to what the mil has to say but in no way would that stop me from marrying the person I love. Believe me she will get over it and if she doesn’t that would be her problem. I remember when my best friend’s husband called to inform me he was getting remarried. My best friend had passed away from cancer. Theirs had been a marriage made in heaven. They had two children together just like in the series. I was so happy for him. His ex mil was not and expressed her displeasure. The fact that his bride to be had actually been a friend of the family and like a sister to my best friend made it no better. The fact that she was well educated, financially independent and had a wonderful relationship with the grandsons made no difference. She just could not accept any woman taking her daughter’s place. Despite her objections the two married anyway and over twenty years later they are still together. I hope this issue is resolved within the next two episodes.
I do not consider myself a prude by any means but I found the female coworker terribly offensive. She was too forward and made assumptions solely based on her own narcissistic version of herself. Why did she assume the man was gay just because he refused her advances? Why could he just not see her in a sexual way? I wish he had said that. If the roles had been reversed it would have been labeled as sexual harassment. Gender should make no difference. It was still unacceptable. Is this how Asian women view themselves? I hope not!
As much as I love this series I just dont see how this can end with Peace and Sun riding off into the sunset together. This is the stark, gritty reality. Will we get a KinnPorsche ending? I dont think so. The scene in the hospital was epic!
Ep 9 was so good. The intrigue continues. Love how all three couples were shown. The confrontation between Kanin and his grandfather was stellar! Who is the vicious culprit? Is it the king? What other secrets are there? Just when I think I have something figured out a new twist appears. And the music score is a perfect 10❤️
What I love and hate about Japanese bls is how they strip away the layers of pretense and get right down to the bare bones. Like it or not getting past puberty and grappling with the mixed emotions and discovering ones true identity is like riding a wave every day. I look back on my own teenage years and it is downright scary. Many may question how certain situations are depicted . I have found that generally Japanese bls could care less about being politically or even morally correct. It’s all about the message and the main characters. It’s about their story and their inner demons and their personal battle. The colors are grey and stark at times. The emotions can go from high euphoria to dismal despair. I for one am intrigued and interested in seeing how this train ride will end.
Wow! I am really living this! Ep 2 gave us divine moments with main couple and the side couple. So much was revealed in those minutes. I cant get enough of MekDech….they are hilarious!
Ep 9 was so awesome! This series and Bankok Boy have taken bls to a new level. We are not perfect. We make mistakes. We are easy prey and victims. But we want what everyone wants….to belong and to be loved. The next episode should take us deeper into the underworld. It’s going to be brutal! Buckle up!
