From the comments I made the best decision for me by dropping this version. I believe in portraying woman as strong but physically assaulting a person on a consistent basis is a sign of weakness and not strength. Coming from a female does not make it any less toxic. It certainly is not romantic. Take care. I do love their music videos.
Reading a lot of the comments doesn't anyone think that Dong Ma is a bit creepy? Just because he's rich, it's…
I feel the same way. The moment he said her screaming turned him on that’s when he turned me off…. and who dresses like a pirate and follows you around an amusement park? Sorry, but money or no money he is a real psycho… and she is too for thinking any of this is the least bit romantic….urg!
Seo Dong has some issues….is the ghost finally leaving…. Enough of that dead Song who already …yes Seo Dong get that sugar……obviously getting dumped twice wasn’t enough and those in-laws have a lot of nerve!
Please please…who wrote this script..who directed this? What is wrong with with saying I don’t want you…I never have wanted you…I never will want you….how many ways must I say this…tell your daddy I don’t give a dam.. however much money we owe him he will get his money but stay out of my life. …and leave my man alone! How hard is this to write in the script? This is the 21st century …stop writing female characters who supposedly have wealth and are educated but have no self respect and cannot handle rejection. As a female I personally find this insulting. The storyline had potential . Watching females grovel is not entertaining at all unless I’m supposed to view this as a comedy. If so whoever wrote this failed miserably because I’m not laughing. I’m going to stick this out until the end because I know how to hit the fast forward button.
I guess BL has become so popular that people are now criticizing shows for no reason at all. I couldn't believe…
Love the label Comfort Food… made me think about those days when I could care less about the number of calories or sugar content…I just want to feel warm and fuzzy as I grab a spoon and a tub of rainbow sherbert… maybe that’s why I love this series so much…I’m on my third serving already!
I have not watched the drama and I already downloaded the rest of the ep for a trip I am going on, so if there…
Me too..that’s why I appreciate the spoilers. I just can’t take sad endings. I’ve really enjoyed this series so far. If there is a sad ending I just won’t watch the last episode.
There are times when you watch a series and you are just blown away by the how perfect the entire cast was and you want to see them all back again. That’s how I feel about this series. Actually, there is no reason or justification for killing any of this phenomenal ensemble. That includes Todd and Dan. Somewhere in the land of scriptwriters someone came up with the idea that there had to be at least one death and/or fatal accident. Every one can’t possible survive. There has to be at least one tragic love affair. I know it’s hoping for too much but rules are meant to be broken and formulas can be changed, especially when there is nothing to be gained. They can even have an open ended finale. Just leave our guys and girl alive. That way we can at least hope for a Season 2. I will be waiting anxiously for the last episode. My decision to rewatch will hinge on the ending. They messed up the ending of History- Make Every Day Count. Hopefully they don’t mess up what has been a true gem up to this point.
Ep 5 and Ep 6 previews just do not make any sense what's so ever! - What was all that about Seo Ban being possessed…
Thank you for saving me from this train wreck. I too was hoping that the focus would be on the three wives and how they move on with their lives. I have watched women go through what these three have suffered and that is a story worth telling. I wanted to see them work through the pain and show that there is light at the end of this dark tunnel. Obviously the writers have no real vision and are relying on the absurd . I feel this writer is still stuck in the past when women were just left at the mercy of the man. Even so I have seen women from that era bravely forge ahead and take lemons and make lemonade. There probably is an audience out there that is being entertained and is enjoying what they see. It’s just not my cup of tea so I’ll respectfully pass on this one. Take care and be safe.
I really found ep 10 to be a good one…lot of tension which seem very realistic. Each couple is at a cross roads. I didn’t read the book so I’m hoping each couple is together at the end. I really like each couple.
I just can’t get this series out of my head….I have rewatched it three times already and each time I come up with something new to rave about. Early on the inclusion of computerized cartoon (excuse me for using the word cartoon if that is incorrect) images let me know that this series was going to be special. The collaboration they did for French class was awesome. Not since I Promised You the Moon have I actually seen a series set in an university where the students actual complete an assignment. It was integrated so well into the storyline. In fact the series even started with a classroom setting which was the basis for their initial rife. Also, I saw no element of toxicity…no sexual exploitation, no homophobia, no conscious effort to force the other person to return his/her affection. Just a really well written, well acted story of two opposite personalities that over time start to mesh together into a relationship of mutual love and respect.
I feel so embarrassed for Tawan. is his self esteem that low ? why does he not realize Dr. Por does not want him..…
Por is someone he has had a crush on for a long time and it seems like this is his first love. I know it sounds cliche but love truly is blind. The heart has a tendency to overrule the head. That’s why I think Mork and Tawan are so good together. Neither one has actually experienced true love.
relationship doesn’t feel forced.
It feels authentic.
