Title Ossan's Love Thailand Spoiler
Forget how messed up ep 11 was. Just having Nanon, Khao and First show up was what I needed to get through this hodgepodge of miscues and missteps. Only one more episode and I can say I actually finished it!

One thing I got from the awesome episode 6….love does not look like Jaemin….love does does not look like Su Kim….true love looks more like Hyeon. True love makes you better…it is gentle..it has no hidden agendas…it is transparent …it does not involve physical, mental or emotional abuse….it does not restrain or constrain you. True love endures the
inevitable trials in life with resilience and perseverance. Unfortunately, so many people would interpret the actions of Jaemin and Su Kim as real love. Cant wait until next week gets here.

Victim blaming, I see. Also, you wouldn't understand the feeling of being in Da On's shoes until you've experienced…
Yes this episode was so intense. My emotions are all over the place. I really wish Da Oh would just walk out the door and let Jaemin do whatever. Threatening others and physically harming yourself is also a form of manipulation. It seems like you have been through alot and are a survivor. Kudos to you.

I was just thinking about how you would respond. Perhaps I am just not good at articulating ny feelings. You suggested in one of your comments that I feel this way because I had not experienced it personally. It is just because I have experienced what it is to live in a toxic and dysfunctional environment that I stand by what I said. I grew up around SuKims and Jaemins. I saw the fear and terror in their partner’s eyes. They were master manipulators. I also learned that actually they were really weak and did not actually know how to love because of other social pressures. That still was no excuse in my opinion for them to be so hostile and physically abusive. I came to this conclusion as a child watching them. Funny how they actually never hurt me. They were even kind toward me. They generally stayed out of my way. Maybe it was how I looked them straight in the eye and refused to be intimidated or fearful as others in the family were. I lived with their victims. I saw the physical and mental abuse. That is why I am an advocate for those who are abused. That is why I chose in many cases to walk away from relationships. I could read the room. I recognized the signs . Please dont make assumptions.Did you see episode six. Wasnt it amazing. I too hope Da Hoe can break away from the toxicity of Jaemin and SuKim.Take care.

Thank you. i respect your right to disagree. If Da Hoe was a child or even an adult with no resources or no way out of his emotional cage I would share your viewpoint but he is a grown man with the physical and mental capability to get out of his toxic situation
if he truly desires to do so. Sorry to think it is idiotic but I have personally witnessed people who would say the idiot is the person who who has the key to unlock the door and walk away but chooses to keep the key in their pocket. What do you see as the end game here? Perhaps Jaemin will have a revelation and tell DaHoe everything he has done and apologize and declare his love. Or maybe Su Kim will suddenly be consumed by his guilt and also vow to control his rages and violent tendencies. Better yet maybe Hyeon will throw up his hands and say to hell with this crazy mess and walk away and leave the three to bask in their trouple paradise. This is fiction so anything is possible. But would it be realistic…In my idiotic mind it would be far from it. Again, I do respect and appreciate your comments. The next episode should be another gem.

Honestly? Same. So so so much. I think Earth's acting is absolutely on point for the character, but I just don't…
Me too! I could not get into the original Ossan’s series and the only reason I started watching this version was EarthMix. I will stay until the end I guess but it wont go on my rewatch list.

How is Daon the problem? He keeps rejecting and ignoring Suhyun every time and he has been manipulated by Jaemin…
I really understand where you are coming from but at some point the victim has to make a choice to no longer be a victim. That is why I state that I know this is not easy. I dont look at this likely. The victim has to get fed up with the situation. I know one case where the victim had someone like DaOn who helped them garner up the courage to break free. I know of another who remained a victim for over 30 years. That person finally stopped being a victim and fled but still misses the Jaemin who dangled financial security to keep the stranglehold on the person. The third person I know of personally chose to ignore the pleas of others. The result was death at the hands of the tormenter. That is what I meant by Dahoe being the problem. Just saying the words no or leave me alone is not enough. The break has to be non negotiable.

The more I watch this the more I feel the real problem is Da On. Yes, we see him as a victim and we feel sorry for him but how long are you going to be the victim? Has he become so attached to this cat and mouse game that he somehow has become complicit? Jae Min and Su Kim are both asses. They
obviously have their own
personal demons that are a major cause of their crazy psychosis. They are who they are and I dont see them changing. It is Da On who has to make the change. It looks like an easy choice but I know from experience that it is not. I have watched people get entangled in a toxic
relationship to the point where they have become so emotionally invested in the situation that they just accepted it. I hope this does not have a tragic ending for Hyeon or Da On
because people like Jaemin and Su Kim seem unable to accept defeat. Da On has got to make a choice but at what price? Wow I am so loving this because there is still the missing piece in this game of chess. The good news is we wont have too wait much longer. Only three more episodes.

I admit I am a chicken. From the comments and short clips it feels like I would need a box of tissues with each episode. I love the main actors . I think I will just wait and see how it ends. It sounds alot like my parents life story . They met in high school and fell in love. My mom also had a hard time with her inlaws. My dad was a saint. He was a common laborer but you would never notice it from the smile on his face and how he never gave up. My mom was the perpetual cheerleader. She did whatever it took to keep us together. They faced so many hardships together. They were an inspiration to me and so many others. She remained his one true love until his death. She never remarried. I always told her she would never find a man who doted on her and loved her like my dad did. I found the same kind of love. We met in the sixth grade and shared fifty years together before he passed away. Our last conversation was filled with joy and laughter. Neither of us knew that less than two hours later he would be gone. I will continue reading your comments. I am sure that in the midst of their struggles there were moments of joy and happiness. Please feel free to share. At some point I may gather the strength to watch. Thank you.

As a gay dude myself, I can understand Heng. He has been in the closet his entire life, especially with his mother,…
I also have to keep reminding myself that this is a comedy. I just hope that Heng and Momo end up together.

Thank you for your response. It may not seem like it from my response but I do understand. I have one cousin who came out as a teenager. Believe me it was not easy. It was also during a time before we had sex equality so he faced alot of social backlash. But he came out and our family accepted him. He lived in another state but one of my proudest moments was when we had a family celebration at our house for our grandfather’s birthday. He and his mom attended. He was in his twenties then. I still have the pictures. We went shopping. He did not have to pretend to be what he wasnt. Now that was on my dad’s side of the family. It was completely the opposite when years later a young cousin came out. This was on my mom’s side of the family. I think if she had still been alive it would have been handled much differently. His father and his mother disowned him. He was shunned by his siblings. He ran away. We have no idea where he is. I do respect him for having the courage to tell his truth even though he knew what the response would be. I guess that is why I am upset with Heng. I empathize with him but I want him to be more assertive. Even when dealing with his boss and his friend girl he acts so cowardly. I have a strong personality too but I was really glad when at different points in time my children stood up to me. They were not disrespectful but firm in letting me know they had made a life choice that they knew I did not agree with….and you know what…I got over it because it forced me to make a choice between my child or my beliefs at that time. I am glad I chose to support my child. I started watching bls during the pandemic. I am still
learning. Again, I do appreciate and thank you for your response. I will try to be more open minded.

I am really upset with Heng. I hate a weak ass indecisive wimp of a man. Momo needed to leave his butt. How much rejection can any one person take. Enough is enough! Time to man up or just stay a mommy’s boy! Those tears did not move me at all. Ughhhhh! I am really not looking forward to next week! I see from the previews where this going and it is not funny to me!
