I just rewatched ep 1&2 and I just cant get When It Rains It Pours out of my head. Maybe it’s the umbrella and the rain symbolism. Maybe its because when I see Daon I think of Sei who seemed to be unable to break away from Jaemin. Maybe it is because Jaemin reminds me of Kazuski who was controlling with narcissistic traits. Maybe it is because Su Kim is in a class all by himself with splashes of Kazuski and Kaori. Hopefully next week I can shake this tendency to compare the two. WIRIP had 7 ep and this series has 8 so I will take that as a positive. I am wondering if this is the current direction of bls. I understand the next bl featuring Gun and Off will also include a romantic triangle and a more mature theme. I am not complaining. I love variety.
This has been a really great ride and I hate to see it end. I am going to miss seeing LYKN every week. They are just so darn cute. Best wishes to Est and William. I cant wait to see our happy ending and I hope we see them in another project.
This is some crazy toxic mess going on here. Only the first two episodes and I know we are in for a roller coasterride. If you are torn between someone who likes to beat your ass and someone who clearly cares about you I really dont have too much sympathy for you. Likewise if you have been foaming at the mouth over someone for eleven years I have even less sympathy for you. I am curious as to how this will all play out. I really like Seong but I see him getting caught in the middle of this throuple. Between the dysfunctional family and the potentially violent and abusive associates if I were Seong I would take a pass on Da On. That is just too much baggage and life is too short to be dealing with all the drama. Lol I was just talking to a relative recently about a relative of ours who got entangled with a crazy psychopath. I was in management at a large corporation. The psychopath worked at the same company. One day one of my coworkers burst into my office and asked me if I knew the psycho . Apparently my relative and his psycho girlfriend were creating a scene in the lobby. I told the coworker to close the door and continued doing my work. I remember my mom calling me and asking me if I knew about the incident. I am well acquainted with dysfunctional families and toxic people. I did not deal with fools when I was young and my advice to Seong would be to save himself and leave these three sorry weak nitwits to wallow in their own tormented mess. Of course, this does make allowances for the required drama and emotional angst . It is only eight episodes so at this point I am just curious enough to hang in there until the end.
I just started this and I am really invested. The cast is awesome and I love the storyline. People have good intentions but at the end of the day you have to do whats best for you. I am on ep 4. I am still enjoying it but a sore spot for me is watching a mature woman fawning over a man like a love starved teenager. The hair stylist is just too much for me but I will suffer through it . Each brother has a backstory which I am anxious to see to the end.
I just finished the first two episodes and I can see why it and Buried Hearts are in virtual tie for first place. As much as they are different there are also similarities. They both have handsome male leads. They both have a stellar cast. They both are jam packed with mystery and intrigue. They both include maniacal power driven tyrants who use people like pawns in a chess game. I am going to be one happy camper for the next few weeks.

Ep 8 was so much fun to watch! I like the entire cast but EarthMix are the very best! The way things are in my country at this time I needed to see something I could just enjoy and be happy ! Ep 9 looks like we get more thrills!

i loving this. This is more than a jilted lover turned revenger. There is much more to this crazy chess game of deceit, power, and hidden secrets. I love the cast. The male lead is awesome. I actually like how the female lead is being depicted. She has her own end game. In fact everyone has an ulterior motive. At this point I feel like taking an ax to both the old heads. As I was watching how they like to toy with people I kept thinking how good it feels to not be rich. Too much money and power sets the stage for hate and deceit. I cant wait until next week.
This reminds me of a bl years ago where the mls had gone through so much and it ended with one of them dying and the other one sitting on a bench in the rain sobbing. There was so much outrage from viewers a second ending was shot which gave us the happy ending they deserved. And we all remember the ending of History 3: Make Every Day Count. We still haven’t gotten over that. I refuse to see one of my boys die even if it is fiction.
This is so darn good. I am rewatching for the second time. The scene in the hospital brings me to tears each time. Peng’ s pain and his personal despair. We see him finally break down and accept his truth. And we see how Sean is his safe zone. The father’s reaction to the two in the hospital is priceless. I hope we get more bls like this that tackle mature themes.

This episode was sadly realistic. It reminded me of when Michael Jackson split from The Jacksons, Lionel Richie from the Commodores, Diana Ross from The Supremes and Beyonce from Destiny’s Child. This is a tough business and very competitive. I dont like how Pemika did it but there was a lot of truth in what she said. I have a relative in the industry. He was the drummer for a well known artist….toured all over the world with this artist. For whatever reasons, they parted ways. It must have been amicable because the artist was at his wedding and everybody seemed ok. My relative and his wife who is also in the industry are doing their own musical thing. I offer this because when I look at series like this I am always questioning if this is art imitating life or vice versa. I am even amused by how much attention Est is getting over his exchanging numbers in public with a male model. Given the focus of the series I am thinking is this real or what! Anyway, there is never a dull moment in the bl world.
By now you may or may not realize that Japanese bls are on a totally different level than most bls. If you enjoyed this bl I have two more I highly recommend….Restart After Coming Home and Life…Love on the Line( there are two versions. Both are good but I prefer the movie version)
Pure entertainment! It was a great ride from start to finish! What a great cast! Even loved the appearance of Lim Ji Sub/Won from Eighth Sense. I get a kick out of seeing actors who can play the bad guy role as well as the good guy . This goes on my rewatch list. I have been 2 for 2 today. I just saw the final episode and I am in bl heaven. I got what I came for and I am leaving with a smile on my face and joy in my heart. From my point of view this was the perfect ending….no over the top theatrics, no spiteful acts of revenge….just honest, straight to the point closure to the past and hello to the future. So much symbolism in the rain…for me it means cleansing and rejuvenation, refreshing and replenishing. I really dont have to see more. Sei and Hagi have already weathered the first storm and I feel they have both learned and grown from the past. If there is a special episode ok but for me this was a perfect 10. On another note I do like the segment with Sei and Fuji. During a difficult time they were there for each other. There was genuine affection. I know some people cannot forgive Fuji. I cant say I forgive him but I do understand him. I am glad Sei was able hopefully ease his feelings of guilt. I think when someone close to us dies we can be tormented by guilt and all the what ifs. Really, Sei and Hagiwara handled their respective breakups with class and style. During both they both seemed resolute. There was no hesitancy. They knew what they truly felt. They just needed the right time and place to make all the pieces fit! Wow! I love this series. It is right up there with Let Go the Curse of Taekwondo.
