Believe me I dont cry easy but episode 8 really got me going. Probably because I am a grandparent. Every year for the past five years I have attended Grandparents Day at my grandsons middle school. The school is always packed. One year the temperatures were below zero. It was freezing cold but it did not matter. Some were on walkers, many had canes or needed assistance. But nothing could keep us away. Like the grandfather in the series I am ever learning. The love of the grandson for his grandfather brought sweet tears to my eyes. It reminded me of the time we visited my late husband’s grave. As we were walking away I turned around. The oldest grandson had not moved. He was still standing at his grandfather’s grave. He was crying. He and his grandfather had a special bond. I turned and went to him and put my arms around him. His mom joined us. What a perfectly wonderful series. To be able to combine entertainment and lessons in life all in one package is beyond awesome.
I really dont like violence but in this case I have to make an exception. I always told my children to take the high road and not to fight. Well my youngest was in the eighth grade and he was like Han U. He got good grades, never got in trouble and was really just a great kid. One day I got a call from the principal. She even started the call with I am sorry. I listened and waited for him to come home to explain his side. Apparently, this other student was picking on him in the lunchline. My son did every thing we had told him to do. He told the lunch room monitor who did nothing. He even went to the end of the line but the kid followed him and continued taunting him. He reported it again. The kid continued. This time he literally flattened the kid. He got a half day in school suspension. His dad and I gladly accepted it. No more incidents with that kid or any other kid. Dont ever underestimate the studious quiet one. I am loving seeing the bad guys get a taste of their own medicine.
I really like how the relationships are being handled. The way the second couple is dealing with the emotions impacted by the wife’s passing gets a big thumbs up from me. Taking it slow and being aware of how hard it is to let go is being well done. Of course we have the friend girl providing some drama but from the previews for next week I think we dont need to really worry about the end game for these two. They may just put things on hold until Hui graduates from high school and starts college. Bye baby bye…go find you a boyfriend elsewhere. Hui has already marked his territory.
I hate bullies and school violence as I suspect most of the viewers do but I see a hidden gem so I am going to try to hang in there. It is only ten episodes so that is a plus. One of my early teaching positions was in a school like this. There were students like Ga Min who mustered up the courage every day and never gave up. I admired their perseverance. I know this is a fictional story but the writing and the acting is outstanding.
You ever want to like a series so much because there is a hint of a potentially decent storyline and at least one of the mls is giving it his all but you get to the next to last episode and all you can say is thank God there is only one more episode to go! I hope to see Petch in future series.
I just rewatched this for the second time as I was just as blown away as the first time. I need a robot like Nam Shin III. For me there is no question that in the end he and So Bong were reunited. They had invested too much in each other from start to finish to end up any other way. Also the entire premise was based on Ai and the possibility of robots taking on human traits. The current bl Eternal Butler follows this same premise as did the bl AntiReset. To end up with a human partner was not the end game. I love watching the three ( Father, brother, best friend) as they marvel at the union they helped orchestrate.
This is so silly! Can’t believe in 2025 people upset over a nineteen year old man kissing someone a few years older. But you watching bls?…..so hypocritical!
William and Est are killing it! Every episode has been on point! Don’t be distracted by the haters. I already have this on my rewatch list. The chemistry between the two cannot be denied. And the music is so good. Kudos to my boys. GMMTV struck gold with this series and should be standing up for these talented artists.
I cant claim to know the psychology behind it but I have seen people who were so emotionally dependent on a person…
I hope you are in a much better place mentally and emotionally. Sounds like you are. Kudos to you for finally being able to get out of that relationship. Take care.
What I love is how they face problems head on. They vent and cry ….they may fall down but they get back up with even more determination and resolve. I love it. And this how you integrate the child into the relationship. They had the priorities in the right order. And the second couple are coming together so sweetly. Loved how she handles the female business rival. No theatrics, no groveling, no vindictive threats. So much confidence ….my kind of female character. I only hate next week because it will be the last episode.
I loved this episode up to the part with the dizzy friend girl Fern. When will writers discover that the over the top intrusive friend girl is so annoying. These are adults. Who does this…runs into a person’s bedroom and starts rummaging through the person’s closet….so immature ! Now that I got that off my chest I love how the group members had to school Thame on his dating skills…that was so cute…and of course the music was so perfect!
I like how you called them "roommates" 😂😂That's honestly all they are. They don't give any sort of love…
To take a person’s phone shows just how spiteful she is. Imagine being married to that. Too many red flags. Life is too short to deal with crap like this. I would tell her to keep the phone and be sure to read all the messages. Then I would nuy me a new phone, block her butt and go get my mam.
Everyone can have their opinion on the matter but:-I don't really like how you shaming Kaori for her lost of sex…
Thank you dear. I could not have said it better. Nobody touches my phone without permission and vice versa. These are not teenagers. These are grown ass adults. If you lost your sex drive or whatever dont expect me to just wait. They are not even married. Time to cut your losses because her gf already told him maybe he could count on getting it once a month when she ovulates but dont expect any more than that. Sounds like you gave her the right label.

But that is how some people manage to keep an emotional noose around the person’s neck. They act as if they are the victim. Everytime I see the girlfriend I just want to slap that sweet smile off her face.
I don't get why it's so hard for them to break up with their current partners
I cant claim to know the psychology behind it but I have seen people who were so emotionally dependent on a person that they just could not break away from that person. Even when others implored the person to leave they just wouldnt let go. Any crumb of affection that was tossed their way gave them the reason they needed to stay. Imagine being in a relationship like this for over thirty years. I dont look forward to next week but I hope our mls find a backbone somewhere and just leave. They shouldnt even say sorry…sorry for what…for you treating me like your pet, for you treating me like an object, for you playing with my emotions and treating me like your puppet, for your cold, cruel indifference!
