Sorry to read that... I hope you will be better in the future :)
Thank you for responding. I have my good days and my bad days. One thing I can tell you that is absolutely true…..there is such a thing as having that one person who will always be your one and only true love! That is what really gives me the will to keep going. Again, thank you for your kindness.
I am on ep 12 and this is so good! If anyone has ever felt used or betrayed by a parent or a loved one this will resonate deeply. How far will a person go for money and fame? What does it take to mend a broken heart?
I must admit before this series I knew nothing about LYKN… I knew about William Jakrapatr. I have the ost from Twilight on my playlist. But this series made me want to check out the group and I am now a fan. I am from an era where vocals, lyrics and great choreography was a requirement if you wanted to be a hit. Looking at this group on Youtube was like going down memory lane. I can really see why they were cast to act in this series. Kudos to the production team.
I am rewatching this drama which says alot for me. Generally, I find dramas with more than twenty episodes to be terribly repetitive and tedious. But not this one. For me it is refreshing to see three men who remain loyal and true not only to their wives/lover but also to one another. Their friendship is unshakable. Their devotion never wavers. There are a number of side stories but I found them intriguing and ultimately directly connected to the fl and ml finally consummating their relationship.
I just rewatched ep 7 and the scene with Kant and Bison caused my blood pressure to soar. I am terrified of drowning. Bison would have just had to shoot me! Love the future outtakes. As long as my guys end up together I will be in bl heaven.
I get the feeling Bison will jump in after him and get him out. And Fadel probably won't do anything. Style isn't…
When I think about Style what comes to mind is he must be one hot lover. I could just see the hesitation in Fadel…like I know I need to kill you but can we just get it on one more time. Lol
Today was so good! It was worth the wait! I laughed, I cried, I got scared….my boys continue to amaze me but for me Dunk was the star today….he is so narcissistic that even when he has a gun in his face he just smirks and laughs it off!
I can understand if people dont like a series but this score is really unwarranted. Earth and Mix are two very talented actors as are the rest of the cast. I already stated that the original was not my cup of tea. So I stopped watching. I did not rate it low just because I did not like the storyline or plot. I have watched over a hundred bls and I can certainly say with confidence this rating is very unfair. I will continue watching and I hope that as it continues the ratings will reflect more accurately the storyline and the humour and quality of the production.
2024 was another great year for bls. I love the variety in storyline ,characters and settings. My top ten are: 1. Our Youth 2. Love in the City 3. Let Free the Curse of Taekwondo 4. Jack & Joker 5. Century of Love 6. Unknown 7. See Your Love 8. My Stand-In 9. Jazz for Two 10. LoveSick 2024
Not only did I get to see the finale ep 10 but Gaga gave us a bonus and I saw ep 11 too! One thing I have discovered is how meticulous Japanese bls are in developing a storyline. You are either a fan or not. What I love most is when the focus is on the main characters and how every setting, every scene, every piece of dialogue revolves around the development of the main character and the plot. If a side character is presented it is because that character is directly connected to the plot and the overall message. The side character serves his/her purpose and boom, that’s it. No side stories or intrusive third parties just serving as needless fillers. I also appreciate bls which are painfully realistic. If you just want a nicely packaged happy ending stop at ep10 . Personally, I was very satisfied with the finale. But someone somewhere felt that just was not enough. It was like saying ok the thought was nice but let’s come back down to earth and add a slice of reality to this beautiful love story. And so we got ep 11 . The blinders were removed and we got a look at what for some is the harsh reality of how it is to be gay in a world which is still not totally accepting of gay relationships. Again, I love how the focus was still on our couple and the way their situation is handled was so endearing. Haruki is so understanding and his love for Jin is unconditional. And Jin is so conflicted over his not being ready to come out but at the same time just so in love with Haruki that it is scary. There is just so much tenderness between them. That last scene is just realistically beautiful. They have each other and it’s going to be ok.
To tell the truth I may be one of the few people who did not like the original Ossan’s Love. It was just not my cup of tea. But I am giving this a chance for only two reasons…..Earth and Mix!
Love Boss and Noeul! Looks like we are in for a crazy ride. If you are like me who tends to have dreams that seem so real you have to pinch yourself the idea of a parallel world sounds like fun.
