Wow! Ep 7 is so good! The older married woman was like a walk down memory lane. I actually knew a woman who had a good husband . A younger man came into the picture and she gave up everything for this man. I knew her husband. We all were close. They even had young children. In the end the guy dumped her. It had been his plan all along. Seems like he and the husband had had a disagreement over a business deal and this was his way of getting revenge. Even though it is years later when she says anything about that time in her life it is much different than what actually occurred. I guess that is why when people tell me about an incident I can empathize with them but I always wonder what is missing. It all depends. The young ballerina’s other side of the truth is riveting and I was not at all surprised by the businessman. Not looking forward to the end but I have come this far so I might as well ride this train until the end.
I am on ep6 and so far this is proving to be entertaining and in many ways a look at the how vulnerable we can be. I wanted to blame Fei Kei for causing so much heartache but he never twisted anyone’s arm. The choice they made was their own. It was their own insecurities and/or greed that led to their personal failures. There were so many red flags. But isnt that how life really is….a older woman longing for attention , a young girl with low self esteem, a greedy, domineering father, a closeted gay man looking for affection, a man broken in mind and spirit…..just ripe for the pickings. On to ep 7 and this is where I imagine it will get even more intriguing. There is never just one side to a story. Someone told me once there are three sides to the truth…..your side, their side and the other side. Nothing is ever all black or all white.
This is just an aside. I guess you can say I am a fashionista. Whoever is the clothes designer for this series is doing an A plus job. The selections truly are reflective of the character’s personalities. I especially love the sweater Hong Hui was wearing in ep 8. I cant wait until next week.
Ep 8 and so many secrets….love it! Someone mentioned about comments on the main actor’s physical looks. Personally I think it’s in the eye of the beholder. However, I think the casting is perfect. The ml and fl look natural and each is attractive in a very realistic way. I am not distracted by the model perfect physical appearances. I am mesmerized and invested in the plot and how it plays out in the end. I am sure the creators of this series were thinking the same thing. Kudos to the entire production team. We are seeing just how far people will go to achieve their ultimate quest for personal power and gain.
The detail of the ICU room was on point. I have the bitter experience of knowing ICU interiors well. I tremendously…
Yes, I felt the same way. Awesome episode. I love storylines where there are shades of grey. Everything is not always black or white. We are all flawed!
I am absolutely into this series but it reenforces my feelings about hospitals. All these people have issues….the doctors, the pharmacist, the nurse, the medical examiner…it reminds me of a doctor my husband once had. Shortly before he had a stroke the doctor was already under investigation for two deaths. Fortunately, my husband was taken to a different hospital and a different doctor was assigned to his case. We always felt he dodged a bullet. This series is so good. It is painfully realistic. The pain from stage 4 cancer is excruciating. My cousin refused all medical treatment and chose to die peacefully at her home. Her niece who is a medical physician was with her when she passed away. My friend’s father was not as fortunate. Unable to bear the pain any longer he took his own life. I really dont know what I would do. My faith says suicide is wrong and does not condone euthanasia . The person I feel the worse for is Thiu. He has just been doing his job and falls in love with a main suspect. However this ends JJ and Tor exceeded my expectations.
I just started watching and already binge watched the first four episodes. I am loving this. Life is hard but what makes it bearable are family and friends.
Really cute episode but what’s with the female secretary? So when will she go away and get a life! These two females literally suck the air out of the room. Love the potential second couple!
Episode 7 was another emotional roller coaster. Once again our guys brought their A game. It was so heart wrenching. This was so raw and real. How can you feel so much pain for someone so mean. It reminded me of a relative whose father could be so cruel and mean. Yet when he died a horrible death she and my mother(his sister) were so sad. This is another bl gem. I just hope our guys can catch a break.
I am watching the ost Destined (Heart Skips a Beat)on youtube featuring Tui Chayatorn and it is so darn good! Wow, it is not usual that I get so caught up in the supporting cast but casting actual performers is the icing on the cake. Watching this over and over …..it is that good! 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼 Actual the members of the group are shown has main and not supporting cast! Love it!
