...did she really need an explanation though? I mean, didn't she see the entire interaction between LYY and her mother? It should have been pretty obvious to her why he was down and not wanting to talk. She could have shown some understanding and just allowed him time to process things first rather than immediately jumping to the conclusion that he was angry with her, becoming accusatory, and throwing tantrums. Like, girl went out there and made it all about herself. People aren't perfect, I get that. I just hope we get to see more situations where she's able to handle herself more maturely and reasonably.

She annoyed me in this particular situation, yes. There have been moments from before where I thought she handled herself perfectly fine. I mean, people aren't perfect, and I get that sometimes our emotions can get the better of us. I was really kind of hoping she would acknowledge her error, and reach out and apologize first. That would have demonstrated maturity...but she just kept whining about why LYY wasn't apologizing. Guess I'll just have to settle for the fact that she did go over to his place first.

My thoughts on LYY/YG's fight in EP18:
Honestly, I felt like YG was being a bit immature and unreasonable. She saw the way the interaction between her mother and LYY unfolded so I wish she had been more understanding of the situation. I thought she was going out to the car to give him some emotional support and comfort, but she went out there and made it all about herself. Didn't like that. Common sense is, LYY would be feeling down and upset, and that should have been understandable. She should have given him some time to process. Yet, she immediately took his down and depressed mood as anger towards her. And then when he was looking for the cherries he got her, she threw a tantrum and accused him of pretending to look for something in order to avoid talking to her. Kind of petty and childish. I think LYY really pampers her, and I get that she's still young, but I'd really like to see her grow and show some maturity and more reasonable behaviors. I feel like she can be quite mature...but, at times when she's around LYY, it's as if she regresses and turns into a child. And I'm not at all referring to her shyness with intimacy.

By commenting about the actor having high EQ in RL, I wasn't saying that that was the reason why YY is so good at romancing YG. It was just an interesting, separate note I was making about the actor himself. As for the being born with it comment, that was kind of a joke. It's a drama so I think it's def exaggerated.

With that said, I do think some people are simply better at it than others are. It can be a personality thing too. Some naturally have higher EQ, which makes them more sensitive, considerate, and attuned to the feelings and needs of others. I also think that Yiyang may be someone who is more attuned to feelings because of his past emotional experiences. His overly kindness and strong desire to take care of others are probably related to all of that. Situations shape people in different ways. For LYY, instead of developing an uncaring and selfish mentality, it seems like maybe it has had the opposite effect on him.

You would have to check out his other works to know just how versatile of an actor he is, since, as the others have said, LLY is just this kind of character. He has played a wide range of roles, and his characters can come off very different from drama to drama. Wu Lei is quite an expressive and animated human being, and he can get extremely intense in his acting when his character calls for it. Then again, everyone seems to have differing opinions when it comes to who they think can act or properly express themselves. Just out of curiosity, what actor or actors do you personally think has wide range of expressions?

That is def just your western POV. As someone with Asian parents, I can testify that in many Asian cultures, the adults are always right and children are expected to just respect the decisions of their elders. I know that depending on personality, some adults are a little more relaxed about it than others, but that is generally the rule of thumb. There's usually also a lot of pride and reputation involved as well so Asian adults can sometimes be super stubborn.

In RL, that does sometimes happen...and I can see this being more believable in an Asian culture setting. There's always a lot of pride and reputation involved so Asian adults tend to be so much more stubborn. At least, that's my own experience with my own parents and within my own culture. Some people can hold grudges for a lifetime when they really shouldn't. That's why LYY asked YG in one scene earlier in the drama when he was reminiscing that if he were to make a mistake(minus cheating), if she would forgive him. Makes me so sad T_T

The actor himself is known for being someone of high EQ and is often praised by colleagues and others for being polite and taking good care of those around him. It's one of the many reasons why I really like Wu Lei as a person.

Right??? I've been single so far in life, and very much enjoying it, but these two are making me feel so lonely and envious atm. I'm in awe of such a beautiful, caring relationship and suddenly feeling like I'm missing out on something really special. I'm actually crying and tearing up at times watching this.

The rumor that he probably has a gf isn't about Zhao Lusi. Only desperate CP fans keep hoping it's her. Rumors say that it is Julia Xiang Hanzhi. Pretty sure that's not true though. She already denied it in the past. Last year, LeiLei made a comment during an interview about his film with Hu Ge(All Ears) in which he was asked about what he wanted in life, and he said something about being with the one he loves and being with his family. Pretty sure it was supposed to be just a general statement but some took it that he was making a confession about having a GF. Julia Xiang Hanzhi was brought back into the picture again by some. As others have pointed out, nobody from LeiLei's team has confirmed that he has a GF though, so it can be taken as just baseless rumor.

Meng Xiao Tian isn't YG's twin brother. He's Meng Xiao Dong's brother. YG refers to both as brothers, but they're actually her cousins. The two have a different last name from her.

Wait, Lin Yiyang is stalkerish and creepy but LBY from LLTG isn't then? Okay, whatever. Make some sense pls. And Yiyang may have exhibited interest first but, unlike LBY, at least it was obvious that his FL counterpart was actually interested in him. And after their first encounter, Yiyang wasn't even the one who reached out. The female lead character reached out to him. Again, that's stalkerish of Yiyang but not LBY? I mean, by your definition, the same could be said for many, many male characters who dare show any interest in their female leads. Make some sense, pls. And their bond and relationship go much deeper than just the physical stuff, but seeing as how you dropped it after EP6, you wouldn't know that.

Just finishing up with EP15 and, yes, I cried...just as much as YG did. So many emotional moments. Honestly, I cried every time she had tears in her eyes. I'm so in love with their beautiful love. The way LYY treats her has ruined me and is making me think I'm gonna be single for the rest of my life. I won't ever be satisfied with any real life guy now :(

And it's not only how LYY cares for YG, but I also love how supportive and understanding YG is towards LYY. Like, it doesn't bother her that he has emotional baggage from his past. She wants to be there to help him overcome his demons. The scene where he was drunk and laying on the couch, and her reaction after finding him and was told about how he tried to get her a cake... T_T

I am not judging you, simply speaking truths about this particular subject. Sometimes the facts are simply the facts. I don't care if you enjoyed the kissing here or not, but saying that LLTG had better kisses than this is truly a joke, and I won't be ashamed to call that out.

My only advice is: watch what you like and drop what you don't. We don't all like the same things, and that's totally fine!

After having pretty much watched all his dramas and films from 2018 on up(and a few from his childhood days), I simply trust in Wu Lei's abilities. Whatever genre he wants to attempt next, I'm all up for it. His versatility knows no bound.

Who's fighting here? I'm explaining things to some of you because you're questioning things that should already be clear if you're actually watching the drama and paying attention. If you want to ignore what I've said and just stick to your stubborn view that people are just randomly doing things that make no sense, then so be it.

And if you don't watch dramas for romances then why are you even here? Like, you do know that this series is a romance one, right? And it doesn't have all these crazy, unrealistic drama in it that others do because it's one of those Slice of Life type drama where the plot is a little more realistic, relatable, and down to earth. It sounds like you're watching a genre you're not interested in and then complaining about it. I hope you'll just move along then if it isn't your cup of tea.
