Divine Aria

Currently at the beginning of EP13, and while there have been so many good scenes of them together, that scene there in that video where he's playing with the lighter is my favorite so far. I watched it multiple times because the timing of the sweet music and how everything played out was just soooo romantic. Not gonna lie, I even got a bit teary-eyed and emotional because the moment was just too freakin' beautiful. And, yes, it makes me feel just how single I am too, even if I've always liked the single life.

I've been smiling and giggling nonstop since I first started this drama 5 days ago

I totally understand that he should prob talk to her beforehand...but his reasons for doing these things are mature and totally make sense(like sending her back because she needs to stay focused), so I can't even bring myself to be angry with him. In the end, I would have agreed with him on those decisions anyway. Also, only reason I'm okay with it is because I know LYY is such a softie. Like, I just know that if YG had insisted and objected, he would have totally given in and done whatever she wanted, lol. The things that he does comes off as more of gentlemanly gestures...someone who's so kind, he simply wants the best for others VS someone with the intention to control others. While I wouldn't be upset about it, I guess I would just ask for proper communication in the future. I'm guessing that part of his personality(wanting the best for others and always taking initiative without communicating first) has something to do with unresolved events from his past?

Thank you for that. I was wondering about this piece of music after that scene where LYY was playing with that lighter. Sooooo romantic. This piece of music and the opening song(Falling in Love) are my favorites, though I really do love a lot of the insert songs and BGM too.

I don't know much about Jinmai, but LeiLei is genuinely a realistic, humble, cautious, caring person. I've seen clips where he's telling his fans it's not safe to come out so late at night, reminding them to be careful about walking home alone, and just staying safe. Also, I've seen him point out in other dramas too about how certain relationships may be romantic but is not ideal in real life. He mentioned that while Shao Shang and LBY's relationship in LLTG may be romantic to viewers, he's not at all envious of them...and that he would call the police if he met LBY in RL, lol. It's great that they can still be so real about all of this, even as they're trying to promote and sell their works.

Ah, I guess I wasn't paying attention? I didn't recall people having conversations on the streets. I was just thinking about those who were interacting with the main characters, and I imagine they would choose to use English with foreigners since English is used the world over.

Apparently, 70% of Finns speak English as a second or third language? I guess it doesn't really bother me how they did it in the drama because it's not like every person on the street was speaking English. It's only those interacting with the main characters...and most of them are younger. I imagine most of the younger population would know English anyhow.

Pretty sure he's supposed to be head over heels from the get-go, especially after he noticed her bag of cue sticks too. Wu Lei is doing his job, and he's doing it marvelously. Many other actors would fail to create that instant spark, especially if they had to do it with basically just their eyes and a few facial muscles. Maybe you're just not into male leads who are totally into their female leads from the get-go.

Doesn't that person trash just about everything? And some of the things that she really likes, I don't like at all, so I guess her opinions and mine will just never click.

Yep. Me too. I'm in love with this drama. And I'm not even one who normally enjoys modern romances, lol.

It doesn't feel forced to me because it was already obvious since the start that Yin Guo was naturally attracted to and also liked Yiyang too. She's just shy around him and inexperienced with relationships. The people around her are just reinforcing what she already feels about him. It's not like LeiLei's other drama, LLTG, where Shao Shang didn't like LBY, couldn't see anything good in him, and needed to be talked into liking him :P

Same. I also have, like, 4 or 5. I feel like certain coats go better with certain styles or are suited for different degrees of cold weather. And, yes, one of mine is a dressier peacoat mostly reserved for more special events.

Why would they cut out so many episodes T_T
But, yeah, going to wait until after the drama finishes to read it too. I don't want spoilers. I'm not reading any comments with spoiler tags, and I'm absolutely avoiding all the upcoming episode trailers. I feel like those spoil so much.

Woot! I'm not reading the novel(not yet, anyway) but that's wonderful news for all those who love and want to read it!

Hasn't he already been doing a lot of movies lately? There was "All Ears", "Papa"(guest role), and, most recently, "Decent Things"

Okay, who's beating up on this drama? An 8.4 for this is so low :(
I haven't been in love with a modern romance drama like this in a long while.

Hmm, having watched a ton of his dramas and films, his eyes have been good for a long time now though. He pretty much looks at his beloved in every drama like she is his one and only. This one just happens to have his magical eyes in every frame that they're together(and his female co-star so much more conscious of him too).

And it's bringing them closer and closer!
