Wu Lei did better kissing in LLTG? Heck no. Not sure how anyone could say that. There were just a few kissing…
I am not judging you, simply speaking truths about this particular subject. Sometimes the facts are simply the facts. I don't care if you enjoyed the kissing here or not, but saying that LLTG had better kisses than this is truly a joke, and I won't be ashamed to call that out.

I’m on episode 2 and honestly I don’t know if I’m going to be able to continue, the ml is a bit awkward…
My only advice is: watch what you like and drop what you don't. We don't all like the same things, and that's totally fine!

Before the release of AASOL, I couldn't believe that some people were doubting Wu Lei in a full intimate romance…
After having pretty much watched all his dramas and films from 2018 on up(and a few from his childhood days), I simply trust in Wu Lei's abilities. Whatever genre he wants to attempt next, I'm all up for it. His versatility knows no bound.

Who's fighting here? I'm explaining things to some of you because you're questioning things that should already be clear if you're actually watching the drama and paying attention. If you want to ignore what I've said and just stick to your stubborn view that people are just randomly doing things that make no sense, then so be it.

And if you don't watch dramas for romances then why are you even here? Like, you do know that this series is a romance one, right? And it doesn't have all these crazy, unrealistic drama in it that others do because it's one of those Slice of Life type drama where the plot is a little more realistic, relatable, and down to earth. It sounds like you're watching a genre you're not interested in and then complaining about it. I hope you'll just move along then if it isn't your cup of tea.

Well, it IS love at first sight, but it wasn't merely a shallow, physical attraction thing. There's a little bit more to it than that, and it was def the fact that he noticed their connection with Billiards. As for him paying for her and all of that, read my post above regarding his psychological state/traumatic past. He pampers her, but it's not just her. He treats and does a lot of things for others as well...like teaching people things for free, or tutoring them and looking over their homework, lending money out to all kinds of people, etc, etc. It's simply his need to take care of others so that they don't have to worry. Maybe he'll relax on that more once he's able to face his past, but we're not there yet.

First off, it's a Slice of Life type drama. Maybe you simply do not enjoy that type of drama. While high drama can be entertaining, I personally think Slice of Life stories are more relaxing, realistic, and more relatable. I also think it's incredibly realistic for people to still be awkward with each other, even after they've started dating. I mean, they haven't even known each other very long...and neither are actually experienced in relationships. They've maybe just known each other a few weeks? It's not like they've been married for years. And I don't think it's harassment to her because she's actually romantically interested in him too. She's just shy and inexperienced about expressing her interest. I don't quite understand your issue though. You say that they shouldn't be awkward with each other anymore since they're already dating, yet, you're saying you don't like the ML doing things any normal lover would do, like having his shirt off in front of her, or reaching towards her on the bed. Your complaints are kind of contradicting.

As for him spending money to pamper her even though he's broke...it's not really one of those thoughtless, immaturity thing. It's a mentality he has developed over the years due to painful events from his past. It's a psychological thing where he feels the need to take care of everyone else because he feels he has abandoned people from before. He especially loves to pamper the female lead because he obviously loves her, but he does it with other people as well. He just really wants the best for everyone else, and will take the initiative to do things for others rather than let them worry, even if it's just things like paying a tab. And even though he's doing that, he's still managing life just fine. It's not like he's harming anyone else by doing those things. And I'm sure his warm relationship with the FL will start changing him in ways...starting with being willing to face his past. But, yeah, if you don't like it, then you don't like it. We can't all like the same things.

i also think if ML has no girlfriend in so many years then how can he fell for her at first sight ...i think if…
He is attracted to her when he first sees her, but it is def the fact that she plays billiards too that attracted him. If you didn't notice, when he first walked into the bar, he noticed her bag of cue sticks. People do not travel with that kind of thing unless they play professionally. That caught his attention. Then, in EP2, after they've added each other on WeChat, he was checking out pictures of her playing billiard.

That's his character. Lin Yiyang is the brooding, stoic, introverted type who doesn't express much, unless it's…
Then maybe it all just comes down to personal tastes and preferences. I've watched the same dramas that you have, but specifically for Wu Lei and his leading ladies. Well, we can't all like the same kind of acting. You can give it a shot and if you don't like it, then you just don't. I'm sure there are plenty of other dramas that would interest you.

Honestly, there is nothing wrong with his acting. He's actually an amazing actor. He is in character (which is…
I dunno about his mouth rarely moving as if he was afraid of opening it. Maybe that's just the way he talks, and if you don't like it then you don't like it, but he's supposed to be giving off a stranger-danger vibe in that scene. Also, I personally didn't see a blank or flat look on his face. Just by the eyes alone, I thought it was plenty obvious that he was very interested in her.

Episode 1 the main lead actor acting is very robotic and plain so far, I don’t know if that’s his acting style…
That's his character. Lin Yiyang is the brooding, stoic, introverted type who doesn't express much, unless it's through action. He's not the really talkative type either. The actor himself is doing a fantastic job with what he's limited to, which are his eyes. IMO, he's really one of the few actors who can truly express with just his eyes. He's done a ton of other dramas where he's extroverted, funny, super natural, and incredibly down to earth. If you're not into introverted and more stoic characters, you might not like Lin Yiyang.

If you just want to check out dramas where Wu Lei is in more natural and down to earth roles, you can look at clips from dramas and films like:

Nothing But You
Fights Break Sphere
Tomb of the Sea
My Country, My Parents
Upcoming Summer

Wu Lei did better kissing in LLTG? Heck no. Not sure how anyone could say that. There were just a few kissing…
The dry peck kisses in LLTG felt good to watch, but the stronger kisses here in AASOL didn't? Know what that's called? Personal bias, whether that be towards your favored pairing or whatever, but it's personal bias. Fact is, a better kiss is a better kiss. Saying that LLTG had better kisses is just a complete joke. It was just literally two people leaning in for dry pecks. There were no proper movements with arms, hands, body, no proper touching, etc, etc. The kiss scenes here go beyond that. And while there wasn't tongue action, they were def not the dry pecks of LLTG either. Maybe rewatch.

A fellow drama watcher and fan of Wu Lei turned me on to his vlogs on you tube. He's biking through China and…
Ahh...I love LeiLei's vlogs and being able to see different places through him. He's so adventurous and such a lover of nature. And when he's recording his adventures, he gets to just be himself: so free and down to earth.

He has a bunch of vlogs on other places that he's visited...like New York city...and some incredibly cold, remote places where he traveled to for his b-day to stargaze and the such. Should def check out his other vlogs too if you're a lover of nature.

cant get enuff of wu lei.. n here i am rewatching Love like a galaxy in between. i m obsessed
For about the past two years, Wu Lei has been my reason for why I even care about C-dramas. I went back and have watched pretty much all his films and dramas that he's worked on since 2018.

It depends if you are in the mood for a slow burner romance drama staring beautiful people
If it's such a drag then drop it. I don't understand how people can keep trying to force themselves to watch stuff that they don't find interesting and then whine and complain about it. I honestly drop dramas left and right. If it doesn't interest me, I just move on. This one, of course, I'm personally loving the heck out of so I'm here to stay. Slice of life romance done beautifully, IMO.

Wu Lei did better kissing in LLTG? Heck no. Not sure how anyone could say that. There were just a few kissing scenes in LLTG(maybe 3 or 4), and it was truly dry pecking there. He's actually a few notches better here in AASOL.

LLTG was okay. There were things I did enjoy about it, but I really didn't like the relationship of the leads…
I feel the same exact way. I don't think you're wrong at all. Shao Shang was incredibly self-centered and unlikable to me. And the way she punished people for their errors or flaws but wanted to be accepted for hers made me roll my eyes. I mean, I get why she is that way, but I was waiting and waiting for her to get over herself, to want to change, and to grow up...but..meh, never really happened. Even at the end of the drama, I wasn't really convinced their relationship would work out in the future since she never really even acknowledged her issues. Guess she was just an innocent victim the entire time. I keep imagining that things would just go back to hell whenever another problem would arise. Like, if LBY hadn't shouldered all the blame for what happened, she prob would have continued pouting the rest of her life. But yeah, just my personal thoughts. Her character is not my cup of tea.

Compared to other drama's ... yes quite alot
Maybe, but not necessarily. I've just been spotting comments here and there whining about how everything is about skinship and kissing in this drama or how they(the creators) must think that that's the only way to create a love story.

The kissing isn't explicit enough, which makes the CP lacking, and so the drama gets a 1 in every category for that? Okay then :(

Awww...the two are too cute. Wu Lei is so expressive, animated, and funny in RL. I wonder if it's hard for him to restrain himself when he's filming characters like Lin Yiyang, lol.
