Pretty sure "You are My Glory" isn't the first drama in history to have ever used that concept either. The concept of two people lying opposite of each other, and completing one another, is a romantic concept that has been used the world over.

Wu Lei's drama that just aired this year was awesome because, Wu Lei, as usual is a superb and extremely versatile actor. Has always been, little girl. Also, his relationship with his female lead, much like the one with Reba in TLB, was beautiful because it was mature and healthy. There was plenty of chemistry between Leo and Reba, even in just their eye contact. If you didn't see it, it's your lost, and you're in the minority, hun, as clearly seen by the high ratings of the drama.

Self-centered Shao Shang only loved herself, was shitty and bratty as hell to LBY the entire drama, but there was somehow chemistry there? Whatever floats your boat, little girl. There is chemistry to be found in positive, mutual, loving relationships...not the pile of negative, toxic crap and one-sided love that was LLTG. It's clear your review of TLB was highly clouded by some kind of jealousy. And, while this is your review, your opinion, I'm also allowed to leave MY opinion and feedback of your crappy review.

YES. First time I'm seeing him and the first thought to cross my mind is that he looks like Dylan Wang. Some say that Dylan and Wu Lei(my fav actor, btw) look alike but, to me, Dylan and Ao Rui Peng look way more alike. They have more similar eyes and lips.

Very hilarious comment...but, really, nothing wrong with admiring him. Just hop on board the Wu Lei train and enjoy all the various aspects of his talent(including his looks). 23 or not, his list of credentials is just jaw-dropping, and the versatility in the types of characters he has played is pretty amazing. And the amount of detail and work he puts into portraying his characters...fantastic.

Wu Lei has gone shirtless in many of his projects...Crossfire, Upcoming Summer, The Long Ballad, LLTG, Nothing But You...I think Battle Through the Heavens too...though the last one there was when he was a minor, haha.

The Long Ballad is prob my fav C-drama in more recent years. It's not super complex but it's such an emotional drama with so much character growth and so many feel-good messages. Add on top of that an understanding, positive, healthy, and mature relationship between Li Changge and Ashile Sun and you really have a beautiful, enjoyable story you want to immerse yourself in. LeiLei and Dilraba were both cute in their interactions and perfect in their lead roles so, yes, would def love to see them collaborate again at some point in the future.

Ashile Sun, I think, will forever remain my fav Wu Lei character. He's simply too likable...a good head on his shoulders, good heart, good skills, good looks, very mature.

And it seems anytime someone plays a cold/ruthless Demon Lord, their popularity shoots way up. Not sure I understand the obsession with Demon Lords, tbh, but it's a thing. To me, Wu Lei doesn't need to rely on that though. He's too versatile and talented of an actor that he can do without idol-type dramas and still be incredibly successful. I more recently watched his segment in "My Country, My Parents" and really enjoyed him there in the role of a young soldier and his relationship with his father. Such a good, natural actor.

Good that you are open to Jinmai. I mean, very young? She's only, like, a little more than two years younger than Wu Lei. All he has mostly been doing is starring with actresses older than him. People keep saying his female leads are all older and he should be in dramas with younger actresses, and when he does, some of you then complain that they're too young. Sorry to the warring CP fans, but Zhao Lusi is not the only actress he should be working with. Although he's already an amazing actor, I'd like to see my fav actor continue to gain all kinds of experiences by working with a variety of co-stars with differing acting styles.

YES. Absolutely. He has played many different roles over his career, and all of them convincingly well.

Hu Ge and Gong Jun have nothing on Wu Lei and Hu Ge :P

Contrary to your assumptions, I don't have any particular feelings for Yu Shuxin either way. I've only watched her in a few episodes in Love Between Fairy and Devil, and what little I've seen of her in there wasn't really that impressive nor did it make me think she was all that dynamic of an actress. I am talking strictly about the chemistry between two people, and while I agree with your idea of what chemistry is, I don't agree that the two have had enough interactions for people to be closing the door on their chemistry. Wu Lei is my fav actor and I personally would love to see him work with many, many different actresses. While he is already a fantastic actor, it's always good to be able to expand one's experiences and acting by working with different actresses of varying acting styles and skillsets.

Not interested in another Zhao Lusi/LeiLei drama so soon after LLTG so I hope it's not her.

They didn't interact at the specific event mentioned here. That's what I was referring to. And what does "spoke a little bit" at some event mean anyway? Standing next to each other and courteously greeting each other for a minute at a sponsor event is hardly the same thing as actually getting to know one another and/or acting lovey-dovey on the screen. The two aren't familiar with one another at all so that tells you how little they've actually interacted.

Not a huge fan of Xanxias...but if it's a costume, male-centric drama then, by all means, cast Wu Lei pls, thanks.

Kind of funny that people know whether two people are a good match or not chemistry-wise when they didn't even interact.

Visually, I thought they looked quite good together too. Acting-wise, they're not on the same level...but, hey, maybe I'll be surprised and really enjoy them acting together.

Wu Lei is super versatile, IMO. He is naturally playful in RL and has been in tons of playful roles from a young age. People do not know him when they claim he can only play cold, serious characters. The only dramas they've prob seen him in are LLTG and TLB.

I know nothing about the characters but I believe Wu Lei is versatile enough of an actor to pull off just about anything. And if Xie Jing Xing is a strong, masculine male lead then we know it'll be no problem for Wu Lei. This is all just rumors for now but we'll see if anything comes of this.
