Only god knows how much I'm in love with the novelðŸ˜ðŸ˜Wu Lei was always in my mind for Jing Xing, another…
Love Wu Lei. I don't know anything about the plot of this drama but I would love to see him and Song Zuer reunite in another drama. Their two mischievous characters were beyond cute together in Guardians of the Ancient Oath.
I've been waiting and waiting for this...and they just keep changing the date on me. Hopefully it's this month and they won't make us wait until April. Please? :(
Omg, yes!! He was so good in it. I ate my words after watching "Love like the Galaxy." I just think he needed…
His chemistry was better with Lusi in that one scene? You mean, the two minute scene where he held a knife to her throat then shoved her forward? More chemistry in that than with Dilraba in the entire film? Now you're just being delusional. And, okay, feel free to shit on Leo Wu(or maybe it's TLB you're truly trying to shit on) if you want but he's an actor who has been acting since the age of six. He has 15+ years of acting experience...more than many actors much older than him. He has also won multiple awards for his acting over the years and was nominated for many more...but, hey, each to his or her own. His acting for Ashile Sun in TLB was no worse than LBY in LLTG.
I totally disliked how Ramin went to beg for his aunt's forgiveness in the end. It's not like he did anything…
Well, think of it this way: Ramin wasn't apologizing because he thought he did anything wrong. He was apologizing because he wanted her to know that even though he's going against her wishes, he's still grateful and appreciative of all the things she's done for him in raising him. Yeah, the old woman was selfish, controlling, and not likable...but she did raise Ramin, fed him, clothed him, taught him everything he knew, and gave him a chance at a good life. He became who he is because of her. And she wasn't exactly evil because she did have good intentions for him. She's so selfish and controlling, she just forgot that what she thinks is good, to him, might not be and that he's his own person and should be the one to decide how to live his life.
I'm still having Utt syndrome lol. :)) If I was Wayoon I'd definitely go for Nicolai, no matter how…
You guys are being extremely unfair towards Wayoon, IMO. Love doesn't work that way. The heart doesn't work like the brain where it functions on reason, and as much as Wayoon tried to love Nikolai(and she did try really hard to force herself to towards the end), one can't force their heart to love who it doesn't naturally love. I think that's one of the morals of the story. And kindness by itself, no matter how much of it you pour out, can't buy love. As sad as I feel for Nikolai because he definitely proved 1,000 times over how pure his love was by making so many selfless sacrifices for her, it's wrong to be saying that Wayoon then owes him her love. Love isn't something that can be earned, and Nikolai understood that everything he was doing for her, he was doing willingly and freely because he wanted to, not because he was expecting something in return. He's such a good guy and deserves true love...which is why I was perfectly happy with him not ending up with Wayoon, who, it was already clear as day from the start, didn't and was never going to love him in that way. He understood it which was why he didn't want her to try to force herself in the end. And, to be fair, Wayoon never tried to mislead him or anything. She was always honest with him about her feelings, and she never went running to him to try to beg him for help or to try to make him feel guilty or sorry for her. If she did those things, I would have hated her, however, Nikolai decided on his own to involve himself in her life and to come offering her his help. He may not have a place in her heart in the romantic sense but, rest assured, he was the friend who stood by her through thick and thin, he was her light during her darkest times, and he'll have a special place in her heart as her angel.
I also think people are a little too unreasonable to Ramin. Personally, I totally understood his dilemma and conflict of having to choose between the two most important women in his life. I never doubted his love for Wayoon because I also understood the importance of his aunt(even if she IS extremely unreasonable, selfish, and controlling). He lost his parents when he was really young and it was this aunt who took him in and raised him. She was practically the mother who gave him a chance at a good life, fed him, clothed him, and taught him everything he needed to learn. From that perspective, he felt he owed so much of his life and loyalty to her. He feared the idea of being an ungrateful son and disappointing her just as much as he feared losing Wayoon. I do pity him a ton being stuck in this situation. The only thing I criticize him for is not being smarter and acting on his feelings for Wayoon so impulsively. He should have thought things more thoroughly first and should have never waited until he impregnated her to try to make a decision on whether he would or wouldn't rebel against his aunt. If he didn't think he could break his aunt's heart then he should have never slept with Wayoon in the first place. By doing what he did, he hurt Wayoon and almost destroyed her life and future dreams . In the end, however, I think Wayoon was able to forgive him because he wasn't intentionally evil or mean towards her but it was because he had made a mistake and became stuck in a tough situation he had a hard time digging himself out of. Also, regardless of everything that happened and how much she tried to hate him, he was the father of her child and the one she'd always naturally loved from the start. Ramin did also redeem himself somewhat through his dedication in pursuing her and their child, and by attempting to correct the mistakes he made earlier. In the scene at the end where he went to go beg his aunt for forgiveness, I think Wayoon also understood the appreciation he has toward his aunt and for everything the old, controlling woman did in raising him. She understood because she grew up in a similar situation and also shared the same type of relationship with her own aunt and uncle. Just like Ramin, she also feared disappointing those who raised her, which was why she'd kept her pregnancy a secret for so long.
All in all, I enjoyed this drama. Honestly, I did shed a ton of tears over it and felt like it offered a lot of good life lessons. It's tough to be a single parent when you're not ready to be one, and getting pregnant without any stability or real plan in place can come with so much stress and hardships. As much as I blame Ramin for not being smart and getting Wayoon pregnant, I think the girl bears some of the blame as well. She should have used her head a little more and been so much more careful about what she was doing since she knew she still had so much schooling and goals to accomplish. After all, life doesn't always turn out well in the end in this type of situation the way Wayoon's life did in this particular drama. I'm happy for her but, again, there are some important life lessons here.
