My prediction .... I think DaOn was always the target, and the other 2 got together as a way to keep one or the other from him.
My guess is JaeMin agreed to be with Su Hyeon because he knew Su Hyeon was dangerous.
But I've seen other guesses that have JaeMin as the bad guy and Su Hyeon as the protector. But if that is the case ... then why has Su Hyeon been gone for so long without JaeMin harming DaOn, and why is he suddenly back wanting JaeMin back as a boyfriend?
In uni... was it.... a honest to goodness triangle? It has been ages since I've seen a real one. Not a love angle,…
That isn't my guess. I wondered too, but DaOn's attempts at confessing to JaeMin lean me towards a friend group. I could be totally wrong. I think DaOn was always the target, and the other 2 got together as a way to keep one or the other from getting with DaOn. My guess is JaeMin agreed to be with Su Hyeon because he knew Su Hyeon was dangerous. But I've seen other guesses that have JaeMin as the bad guy and Su Hyeon as the protector. It's basically a commercial for a drink. That's fine if you know it going in. Also ... happy ending here is subjective. Happy For Now is more likely. I have a feeling that if these characters were real people then they would all be paired with different people a year from now.
Would love to see these two in something else. The main storyline had potential, but it got lost in all the side antics. I was okay with the show not being super serious about serious topics .... but there was too much going.
- The 2nd couple did well and matched the tone of the show.
- The 3rd couple was over the top. It was a series already limited to 8 episodes ... why the need for a 3rd couple? I am actually fine with including a sex addiction plotline in a series ... but there just wasn't enough room here without it being used as a joke.
- The 4th couple was completely unnecessary. I think the time given to the doctor couple could have been better spent on the main couple.
- The hotel owner and obnoxious assistant .... a fine villain/foil concept ... but none of it was believable. From the barely-out-of-his-teens actor playing a hotel mogul to the assistant being such a creeper for most of the show. Be a love rival or be a hotel trying to get the land ... having them both in this way was too much.
- Sangmin's parents made no sense. Why ... why why .... why why why why????? All that wasted time with the other side bits could have been used to explain this better and show more of Sangmin and Dinneaw's story.
They gave Hill & Ter way too much time, mind you, Ter’s dad didn’t apologize to Hill and Hill’s grandpa…
For season 1 (in the books), Hill and Ter sort out their stuff within the first semester of year 1. By the time Jo and North's book starts, HillTer are already official. Johan and North's story finishes out the rest of year 1.
For season 2, we'll definitely get some Fah and Phoon flashbacks since they've known each other since they were toddlers. Fah's family moves when he is around 16 (Phoon was around 15) so they don't actually see each other again until they end up at the same university. And how they are in that first year/season is pretty much how they are in the book too. Things don't start to improve for them until part way through year 2.
Arthit and Dao don't actually meet until much later when Dao moves into the condo next to Arthit at the start of year 3.
So, for either couple, unless they adjust the timeline then we shouldn't get too many, if any, BU or LITA type flashbacks that need to repeat anything that happened in season 1.
I really hope we do get the 2nd season with the other 2 couples since they peaked more interest in Fah and Phoon!!!Also…
season 2 was officially confirmed today, so I'm hopeful.
The thing with Johan's mom is better explained in the book. She is much more glamorous, handsy, and nosy in the book, which causes scenes since she wants Jo to treat her like a sister instead of a mother ..... and he didn't want her bothering North and making him uncomfortable since they had just officially gotten together. They toned her down A LOT for the series.
Tiger and Nao have their own book ... so their story will continue in season 2.
I'm so upset. After all, I'll have to wait another 8 days to see the ending. Why did they postpone it another…
Originally it was supposed to be 16 eps for part one, with 1 bonus episode for TigerNao (according to Maxky and Bas during one of their lives on IG or TikTok). That would have put the finale on Jan 16th and the bonus episode on Feb 1st .... for the actual Thai broadcast on tv.
But then the fans were overwhelmingly (and justifiably) upset at JoNorth's lack of screen time so they re-edited the remaining episodes and filmed new content to show more of their story. 16 regular episodes became 17 .... but the tv schedule was already set so their regular Thursday tv spot wasn't available. That means the finale episode is now in the timeslot the bonus episode was supposed to fill and no official word on the bonus episode.
The rescheduling announcement said we'd get a surprise on the 25th when the finale "Fast Track" option becomes available via the WeTV/Tencent app. My guess is that they will tell us when the special TigerNao episode will be available. I'm hoping for an update on season 2, but they are probably still figuring that out so I'm not getting my hopes up for that yet.
I've watched all 16 eps now, and I'm wondering if the Johan/North bath kiss (shown in the trailer) already happened…
That was in the trailer/pilot that they filmed to send around to secure funding, not sure it'll be in the final edit of the series. I'm thinking not, because that happens during their Norway trip at the end of the book, but based on the teaser for ep 17, it looks like they are ending part one of the series by both couples doing their hometown/family visits. I don't think we'll get to see JoNorth's Norway trip, which would be a shame.
Also ... Maxky and Bas were talking about the special episode in a recent live .... the special episode is going to be focused on TigerNao.
My guess is that the Thai version will cover much of the Japanese version's season 1 & 2 and will fill in some…
I'm counting the Ossan's Love: Love or Dead movie as season 2 sequel because of the direct continuation of the story and Ossan's Love Returns as season 3.
I really wanna know what "innocent" Tonfah is like in the novel. The innocent looking ones are always the wildest…
He's passive .... until he's not. I was a little unsure Tonfah deserved Phoon after hearing how horrible Phoon's backstory was. Fah didn't know what he didn't know, so he basically "let Phoon handle it however he wanted" ... which caused a lot of issues. Like I tell anyone who asks ... neither one of them are at fault, really .... and when Fah finally understands, he steps up. I've read the first 3 books and each one gets darker and more intense. I can't even imagine what ArthitDao's and TigerNao's books are going to be like.
The director said they were going to add a couple more episodes so that they could upgrade JohanNorth's story from a "side story" to a "main story" .... which is why we've had more of them lately. Lots of people were upset that they were the "side couple" because HillTer's novel was 1 volume and JohanNorth's novel was 2 volumes ... so they adjusted to address the feedback/outcry.
Episode 15 was released early last week on WeTv is probably why it's saying that. But on You Tube they only have…
It's not that YT is late, but WeTv has a "Fast Track" option which allows people to pay to watch some episodes before they are officially released. In week/episode 13 ... WeTv opened up the Fast Track option for Fourever You .... so everyone had access to the same episode on YT and WeTv ... but if you wanted to pay $1.99 then you could watch ep 14 too. And then the following week when everyone was seeing episode 14 as scheduled, viewers could pay another $1.99 to watch episode 15 early.
It is on iQIYI after episode 15 and the special episode for episode 15 ... it is the one just called "special content". It starts off with some other stuff but then there new stuff is after that.
My cheek muscles are burning from all this smiling and grinning...I enjoyed this episode a lot...so heartwarming…
Teerak has already shown us a couple dream sequences, and I'm sure this one is a dream too. There is no way the parents who gushed over learning about Fah's crush is going to treat the crush that way .... and based on what we've seen of them, they don't seem the type to treat anyone that way. Teerak is going to be fine. He's just a little scared of taking this next step.
Did anyone notice that Thorn, from TharnType is listed as Phu’s cousin? I wonder if there’s a connection to…
what’s funny is the overlap of actors.
Love Storm, Love Sky, Love Sea, and Love Sand are the 4 novels in the LITA corner of the universe but FortPeat are the leads in 2 of the stories/series but playing completely different characters.
Love Storm and The Boy Next World don’t overlap that much but it’s still BossNouel playing two sets of characters in the same universe.

Still lots to figure out.

Fah, Real, Hia, Dom, and Babe were all juniors/3rd years
Teerak, PunLee, Joy, and Type were all freshman/1st years

Also … in TharnType 2 … we see Phu and Cirrus. They live in the same building as Tharn and Type. They are played by different actors though.
