I have been following Zhao Lusi since The Romance of Tiger and Rose. I fell in love with her humor and bright presence on screen. Since then, I have watched every single show she has started or co-starred in. It deeply saddens me that a girl, no young woman, has to deal with this. It is unfair, and it breaks my heart to see her going through this. I am proud of her for coming out and taking a stance. These women need to be protected and guarded. I loved the ending. These kinds of endings prove that we don't always win. That life does go on. Mei Lin and Murong Jing He love was epic and untouchable. He loved her more than life itself and if it wasn't for telling me to live he would have gone with her. I didn't read the novel that this was based off but I will now. Im really upset that his fathers love died as well... That broke my heart. I know its hard to portray that kind of relationship but he was so patient and kind. I see where Jing He gets it from honestly....

I watched them bother TTEOTM is OMG. Blossoms in Adversity is another complex beautiful story. They all unique in their way but something about TSOPG hits closer to home for me. You should watch The Princess Wei Young. Its perfection!

The story is dead on. She got passed all of her hardships. How is the story sad? Yes she lost the love of her life. He left her with so much more. She was strong and beautiful. That is something that doesn't come easy. Peace is expensive. You don't ways win all the battles. Life is like that. I get people want fluff but life isn't fluff. I see this drama more of an empowerment then sad. Believe!

Honestly I think he dies shortly after she wins. I also do not think he left either. He loved her so much. She loved the good, bad and the ugly. She took care of him until he passed and lived on fulfilling the wish he had for her. That is what she did. She lived her life for those him and herself. This is why this story is so good.

Do not drop. This is a masterpiece. Its a complex story with growing characters. You will not regret finishing this!
