I was so invested in this messy drama. It's been a while since I was so hooked on something. I hated the friend lying to her and pretending she knew nothing. Hated the friend's whole plot, she was so rude to her boyfriend. Hated the Ex-wife plot, like seriously why was she back?

I think I enjoyed the plot and storyline better than One Spring Night. The young sister plot was really sweet. In the end, I even felt pity for her Ex who seemed to have lost everything while trying to please everyone.

Better than most pink films actually!!! The story is pretty straightforward forward. I had a smile on my face, the whole time since I've watched Riku's other movies. Not a complicated story at all, it's like reading a one-shot manga.

No need to repeat yourself, you don't seem to understand the relationship between logical conclusions and good storytelling.

Good writing means you don't have to tell your audience everything, the audience already understands and it can be inferred that she was happy and moved on.

Her Ex had already stopped being part of herself, since they broke up, so I'm not sure what you mean that we had to see that the ex was not part of her life and she had moved on. It was so obvious and again a logical conclusion. She was seeing someone else so it's obvious she moved on !!! (😂 Hahaha). We already know she moved on, she had slept with another man. So who thought she still needed to see her Ex?

Tell me what the wedding added to the drama/storytelling that we already didn't know?.

Yeah, we have different ways of watching analysing and interpreting films. I never mentioned screen time but the effective use of flow, plot, and storylines to create a tight storytelling arch. She had already moved on when she went to work with the guy at the hospital so why would you think she was still heartbroken?

Unnecessary love triangle subplots can feel frustrating, especially when they detract from the main storyline! Including two weddings in a 40 episode drama can make sense if each wedding serves a unique purpose or develops the storyline in different ways.

The Ex and Friend were never central to the story and no value was added by the "faux" drama of that plot.

When side characters and their dramas aren’t central to the story, it often feels like filler rather than meaningful content. It’s frustrating when shows add conflict that seems superficial and doesn’t advance the plot or develop the main characters. That kind of “faux drama” can really take away from the story’s impact.

How does attending a wedding show any feelings? You're just reaching. There was never a loose end period, they broke up and that's it. Was it a rebound for the Ex as well? Question apply both ways? I maintain there was no value in that plot. No one would have missed the Ex or even wondered how he was doing Han Ting was always the end game our focus should have been and was him!

Was that necessary? Obviously, if she was dating Han Ting it's a logical conclusion that she had moved on. Whether he moved on was not important to this story!! No one would have noticed if he just stopped appearing when they broke up.

These are the little details that separate good dramas from bad dramas. Effective use of time, plot, and storyline.

That was not the best use of the time or the budget. A wedding in the middle of a series which is not the MLs wedding is distracting to the viewer. Instead of building up the story and making the viewer anticipate the romance btwn MLs they waste time on side characters that never appear again in the series. After the wedding we don't see those annoying two, so why bother with giving them a wedding? They could have used one of the side characters who is actually in the series until the last episode.

What did it add to the drama? Nothing just extra time and scenes that add zero value to the story. It was more irritating to watch them than if they hadn't been in the drama at all. Ending things off when she broke up with him would have been a perfect way to conclude that chapter.
They could have given more romantic scenes for ML instead of a weird wedding many people didn't care about. Side characters should remain side characters.

At first I thought her mum was too much, but she turned out to be a sweet mum even though she has some old fashioned ideas.

FL's wardrobe was 🔥🔥. She's always one of the best dressed CDrama actresses.

The drama/story is not about her Ex or her snake friend but about her life and her romance.
You don't just stick random subplots that do nothing for the story and hope viewers will enjoy the story.

Don't be thick in the head read to understand okay. I'm just saying including that storyline messed up the momentum and flow of the drama. It's unrealistic to show an Ex's wedding vows. We only needed one wedding in the show her & Han Ting wedding not other weddings.

It was an unnecessary storyline. We didn't need to see that love story or their wedding. It just broke alot of girl code, no woman would remain friends with a woman who was tapping her ex. It's just gross and disgusting 🤢.

Someone mentioned that it was not in the novel and that makes alot sense, stupid storyline.
