Proof that the Japanese are indeed the real kings of writing the most compelling BLs. Taking the most difficult subject matters and weaving them into captivating storylines that not only touch your soul but your mind as well.

The social justice issues highlighted in this BL are real, serious and exist in our world. I hope this series inspired you to be compassionate towards human trafficking victims, the homeless, street workers and others who live on the shadows and fringes of our society. I encourage you to donate to a shelter or be volunteer to fight against these problems.

This is how I imagine TV/ manga/ stories being a vehicle for education and social change.

Only kdramas get up voted on this platform. Actually, this platform is anti-Japanese dramas. Even the best Japanese shows get 7.5 here. So in my opinion that 8.1 rating means it's actually a 9.9⭐.

You should also know that people were prepared to hate and low rate this show because of the numerous triggering tags of the Manga. The fact that they were able to change people's mind, means they did a great job.

The script was solid.

Thanks, already watched it but still preferred MMH because PMR storyline wasn't as complicated as MMH. I guess the time travel element in MMH added more mystery and intrigue. MMH was also funny.

I already finished watching Connection and currently watching Black Out. They are just mid to me, nothing new or stand-out. Rated both dramas 7.5

Maybe that's what happens after watching more than 600 dramas.

Too late, I'm already on Ep12. I have the bad habit of finishing boring dramas once I start watching.

The only drama worth my time this year (2024) was Marry My Husband, everything after that has been a torturous slow death.

This year is cursed with boring dramas.

I don't think she deserved a redemption arch, in fact the writer should have just forgotten about her and ended with something else about their friendship. She wasn't in their friendship circle, so no one would miss her.

So you're telling me that prosecutor couldn't figure out the last four digits when he had a list of so many combinations. That just didn't make sense especially since he was having an affair with the woman (wife) whose numbers were the last digits.

Any scammer will first try birthdays as most people use these as password & key combinations.

What an annoying drama. I like Ji Sung but this drama wasn't it. Bored out of existence and the mystery & intrigue was just mid.

Boring, waste of time for me too. I rated it as a 7, it had a childish storyline that doesn't compared to what you think the big secret is. There is no big reveal!!

Netflix is pay TV and not strictly like NHK or other public broadcasters. Public broadcasters sometimes adhere to strict social codes unlike Netflix.

I'm going to be very angry if that actress turns out to be the killer just because she wanted a guy. They better have died for a good reason.

The only people that can really protect or help when it comes to prison are the people that know the law and are willing to take either the police or state to task on things they fail to do.You need advocates, not friends, people with sway and power to look out to you.

He is lucky being a celeb, becoz at least it won't look nice if one of the most internationally recognized Koreans loses his life in a Korean prison or something happens. Won't be a good image for their country.

They've already faced alot of criticism on how their laws are lax on sexual crimes while harder on someone that has some mental health issues. Not sure they need more bcoz the world is slowly waking up to how "Hell Josean" as young Korean call SK is a real hellish place.

That's why, they are always encouraged to invest. So I do hope that, he has a nest egg somewhere or owns a few buildings like most Korean celebs that he can sell off. He has been in the industry for long enough to have invested,he's not a newbie.

Do we always need romance to make a drama interesting?.

I said the same thing too, it seems like that "scandal" was the only driver of intriguing makjung drama. It's better to have 1-2 episodes to tie lose ends. Instead they have 4-6 episodes left with no real conflict.
The cases and the office drama lacks the necessary conflicts. If you know you're doing 16 episodes, pace it so that there's filler episodes full of unnecessary padding.

What am I going to do after reading fair use?. Am I the one suing or the one whose ideas were ripped off.

If sued only the court of law can interpret what is proper "fair use".

Just you claiming it's "fair use" or quoting a few lines claiming that it's "fair use" doesn't mean the copyright right holder shld grant you any rights.

As long as the copyright holder doesn't even want you to use their stuff, you can't use it. This concept is applied on YouTube all the time, where the copyright tool will prevent you from posting even small sections of a video if the original copyright holder doesn't allow it.

YouTube uses an automated system called Content ID that scans videos for copyrighted content. If a match is found, the rights holder can choose to block, monetize, or restrict the video, making it unavailable, even if the uploader claims fair use.
