I don't know whether to laugh or cry because this Dr is such a weird person. She speaks like a baby and acts weird. I hope that it gets better because I don't like her so far. And that creepy brother.

I know the 2 of them basically grew up together and everything flowed into romance very “naturally”. But not…
He was always into her and just used the "bro" to protect her and he finally acted on it.

Get a grip of yourself. Just like not all romances work out, you can't expect every story to end the same. Hold…
I don't get emotional over one-dimensional fictional, white knight characters who don't even exist in real life. This drama is based on a novel, nothing about it is real or even remotely close to real-life relationships.

You also need to get a grip, remove that head from the clouds, breathe in and out and you will realize there is nothing wrong with being realistic.

It's important to stay grounded and not let fictional stories influence our expectations of real-life relationships too much. Taking a step back and keeping a realistic perspective can help people enjoy the fantasy without losing sight of reality.

Thanks for sharing your real life experience. Your story makes the point perfectly as to why the main leads in…
Let's be honest though, there is never any guarantee that any relationship will work out. No formula, no magic potion. Things just happen, that's the reality we all face.

You may think someone has feelings for you but you could also be imagining things and overthinking someone's behavior as liking you when they are just being kind. I'm sorry but girls have this habit of studying a guy's behavior and just thinking he likes me.

He smiled at me, so it must be a special message (hahaha).

There's nothing to understand here. This is a fictional story of course everything works out in drama-land. Life and dramas are two different things, you can enjoy a drama but still remain objective.

I don't believe in love but I watch romance dramas and read romance novels, manga manhwas. I just don't expect these stories to be real. It's good to be realistic about life and judge both life and dramas on their own merit. Sorry to pop your dreamy ballon.
On You Are My Lover Friend Oct 7, 2024
Liked this better than Love Next Door as I was watching them in tandem. I like this story better because they are both mature, the parents don't meddle, and their misunderstandings don't last long. Really funny, the 2nd Couple is too funny with their married couple vibes like gossiping together(hahaha).

The ML was too much of a white knight some of the time and that's what bothered me. He was always trying to save her when she was a whole deputy director. I think she was more than capable.

But loved their cute,no misunderstandings, gooey, syrupy romance. So sweet.

Do either FL or ML's exes come back and create drama?
No, it's not that type of drama. Very low maintenance couples, strong communication and they always quickly resolve their differences ( all 3 of them). No jealousy or deranged characters in this one.

Get a grip of yourself. Just like not all romances work out, you can't expect every story to end the same. Hold your chin up, life goes on. Even marriages end up in divorce, but we still celebrate those who make it.

since you dropped the issue out of nowhere first.... just becareful that the line of calling them out double standard…
I actually agree with you. The FL that they described in the blurb/synopsis is radically different from what we got. The removed all the fight from her and it just didn't make sense to me either. She was supposed to be strong and had her priorities straight but I also saw the inconsistencies in her character.

Maybe I misunderstood it all, but I'm pretty sure she decided to never do DNA testing, even after the kid is born.…
Knowing your biological father is every child's right. Whether he accepts you or not is another whole issue all together. It also doesn't change your biology. But you deserve to know. Even Korean adoptees who had good lives are still looking for their parents right now. So no we can't say just because you had a good upbringing, you don't deserve to know. Such a selfish thing to do.

I agree, there were some important subjects that they just relegated to comedy instead of at least having a serious discussion about it. The whole premise of the FL being a hardworking and fighting workplace discrimination was the one I most wanted to see but I guess they totally forgot all about it.

I can't say I loved, loved, loved it, but it's better than some kdramas that I've watched this year. It had enough intrigue to make me look for it every week.

Prosecutors are trained lawyers so I just find it hard to believe that he couldn't guess all the connections especially after those two were made beneficiaries of the will.

The password is also funny, he would remember the Friends he hardly spoke to instead of his child that passed away and the one he was desperately selling drugs to raise money for treatment.

Humans are sentimental creatures and yes passwords are always special dates and numbers, unless you're into IT and know how to create cryptic passwords otherwise normal human beings are not that hard to read. Creatures of habit.

Even a kindergarten kid can write a better story.

My point is you start with the obvious numbers. The wife's number or birthday or the child's birthdays are the most common numbers people use. Special days etc.

None of this aligns with the aspect that the prosecutor was the mastermind of the whole plot. It was just a convenient twist, but as dedicated as he was for his plan to be successful I just find it hard to believe.
Even one friend of their group couldn't even guess the 4 digits. Do you know how ridiculous that is? If the Audiophiles were as tight friends as the story wants us to believe they all would have known the 4 digits of the Friendship Day right away not find it in the most random way they did. What if they had never helped their friend's widow to move?

To me that's a weakness of the drama and why I think it was ridiculous and bad. I hate it when bad guys are easily undermined in dramas. At least give a bad guy a fitting end, especially a mastermind.

If you're a logical thinker, you will see how impossible it is that he would miss those 4 digits. It wasn't a secret that the audiophile guys were friends and after the two were named as beneficiaries in the will it would it would be impossible not to conclude that they were being used as a cover by their dead friend. The prosecutor would have been curious!

The prosecutor had also discovered who was sending those messages from the dead guy's phone with the 4 digits to Ji Sung.

So I find it funny that he would never tried all those combinations.

What does it mean to say last four digits?. It literally means he had the other four numbers that he needed to combine it with.

They wouldn't be the last four digits if the other four were not correct. It means he would need 8 numbers. At least that's what "last 4 digits means in English"

They were, it's mentioned in the last episode when that other guy was in prison. We'll the guy in prison who was part of their friendship circle knew the digits. If he knew how could the prosecutor not know. He was supposed to be the smartest.
