That was to show the both of them move on, after the wedding they were not showed again beside her meeting with…
Was that necessary? Obviously, if she was dating Han Ting it's a logical conclusion that she had moved on. Whether he moved on was not important to this story!! No one would have noticed if he just stopped appearing when they broke up.
These are the little details that separate good dramas from bad dramas. Effective use of time, plot, and storyline.
If the ex boyfriend was no longer good for her and HT was so much a better choice. why not let a friend benefit…
That was not the best use of the time or the budget. A wedding in the middle of a series which is not the MLs wedding is distracting to the viewer. Instead of building up the story and making the viewer anticipate the romance btwn MLs they waste time on side characters that never appear again in the series. After the wedding we don't see those annoying two, so why bother with giving them a wedding? They could have used one of the side characters who is actually in the series until the last episode.

What did it add to the drama? Nothing just extra time and scenes that add zero value to the story. It was more irritating to watch them than if they hadn't been in the drama at all. Ending things off when she broke up with him would have been a perfect way to conclude that chapter. They could have given more romantic scenes for ML instead of a weird wedding many people didn't care about. Side characters should remain side characters.

The drama/story is not about her Ex or her snake friend but about her life and her romance. You don't just stick random subplots that do nothing for the story and hope viewers will enjoy the story.
Don't be thick in the head read to understand okay. I'm just saying including that storyline messed up the momentum and flow of the drama. It's unrealistic to show an Ex's wedding vows. We only needed one wedding in the show her & Han Ting wedding not other weddings.

It was an unnecessary storyline. We didn't need to see that love story or their wedding. It just broke alot of girl code, no woman would remain friends with a woman who was tapping her ex. It's just gross and disgusting 🤢.
Someone mentioned that it was not in the novel and that makes alot sense, stupid storyline.
Lost interest when they included that friend and ex-boyfriend plot plus the wedding. Did we really need to see that subplot? It was so unnecessary and irritated me to the core. Maybe I will finish it one day, but I am too upset right now. Dropping it
so you're telling me that DH and HH have just been friends for ten years and somehow their relationship never…
When in the car and DH is talking about stopping whatever their relationship was, HH said how could they stop/break something that never started. Very confusing.
so you're telling me that DH and HH have just been friends for ten years and somehow their relationship never progressed from sleeping at each other's house. HH failed to make a move in 10 years!!! Doesn't make sense at all.
She's supposed to be good at her job but he keeps rescuing her. I hate white knights and pampered princesses. Both their behavior is so unprofessional and unfair. I really wanted to like but ...
Same, I found them both unlikable. The whole plot between the FL and the rich old guy was ew…
She really couldn't say NO though if you noticed how they were always being pushed to find clients etc. It's the same as drinking, you really can't say no to the top clients. I understood why she did it. Her boyfriend does it too though.
So satisfied with this one. I am so glad that I watched this drama, at first I felt so stressed with the type of life she was living with so much work pressure. I was so happy when she got a Mentor/Superior who cared about her work and treated her fairly.
I loved their romance so sweet and how he wooed her. They understand each other and respect each other's work. I liked the overall message of not forgetting to live for yourself and finding value in yourself, not money or your job.
The other Li Xian (ML) drama "Meet Yourself" has a similar vibe with village life and community, life reflection. A funny loveable granny too. Loved it.
OMG, the last few episodes were such a drag and so unnecessary. They should have ended it earlier around the court case. Also crucifying her every step of the way and turning her into a crusader becomes too tiresome. The mum's hysterics were also so far-fetched, I can understand wanting to protect your child but this was ridiculous.
Most of it would be workplace abuse and harassment and you can't demote a pilot to make her work at some other random job. That's just weird and is wasting company resources.
Did the other man who hated her have to have a redemption arch? He could have just disappeared and no one would care, and more realistic. He was suddenly supportive at the end when he was responsible for all the hate she got. (so weird)

FL's wardrobe was 🔥🔥. She's always one of the best dressed CDrama actresses.
