I understand that the husband was trash, but I don't sympathize with the other two women in his life.
-The mistress knew he was married and had no right to be angry. -The other ex girlfriend from hometown, I understand that he let you down but you can't blame him for your bad marriage. Those were misplaced emotions.
I rarely had second male syndrome, but this drama cured me for completely, I hate QinCan soo much I hide his face…
That's such a nonsensical reason to hate someone whose just doing their job according to the script they have been given. I don't like him too, since I watched You are my Destiny but I feel like this drama doesn't push any romance at all. He never crossed the line.
I'm sorry bt you fail to understand the situation, they both had childhood drama which is why they had problems…
Don't be stupid man, this is a serious mental health problem that doesn't go away because of dealing with your inner child.
Dissociative Identity Disorder (DID) which is what FL has is a lifelong condition that doesn't go away because you find love or deal with your inner child.
Kdrama always choose the safe route. They make it into a philosophical lesson. Instead of taking her mental health seriously she had to choose a guy at the end.
How about not choosing a man, but just choosing yourself.
He never cared enough to protect her though. I don't know why his mum disliked Qin Shi, they didn't look that rich. Their house was shabby but she pressured her son to find a rich and connected bride.
The mothers in this drama will give you a headache. Not even one of them has a good character, pushy and unreasonable or supportive. Thank God, for ML's dad he is the only parent that didn't turn things into a circus.
I find it so funny that her ex who couldn't even protect her from his mother suddenly had a protective instinct and wanted to marry her and protect her from all the work abuse. This is the mansplaining that ruins dramas about strong FML.
The whole plot with the SML was seriously bizarre, if you add Wu Fei in the mix it becomes another circus. Like why would you be with a man who can't make up his mind? He clearly didn't love her, but she goes back to him. He also never really knows what he wants, and pretends to everyone.
For lawyers, most of the people in this drama were so dumb and did not exhibit any intelligence. Even all the plotting fell short of the intrigue that the drama promised.
I hate the fact that she never confronted the other female partner of the firm who constantly used her, demoted, humiliated her, and then always dangled the partnership carrot in her face. That woman was the reason why, other women were disrespected at that firm and she came up with the single-people rule.
I'm nearly half way through this drama, and I'm really enjoying it. I just want to say that if this drama is accurate…
Yes, they need the family registry, from what I've read it's also to determine if you belong in a certain area. Somehow things like your kid's school and other social services are tied to the family registry. It's called the hukou system. You either have a rural hukou or a city one and it has a lot of implications on your life.
Her father was trash....i understand the times but it still hurt me so much. Such hypocrites those villagers, she was dirty while alive and doing the jobs they didn't want but was suddenly good enough for them to sacrifice.
Thank you! I was going to watch bc it sounded interesting but if the ending is "love fixes all" then I'm out.…
Or that women can fix broken men. That a woman is the answer to the grumpy chaebol with mommy problems. It's equally revolting when love is used to solve all life problems for both men and women.
I sometimes think K-ent could do with a little bit of the censorship C-ent has. Cause a lot of kdramas have been…
There is already censorship in K-ent, they just don't know how to write good stories around that .If they could write already about a subject matter like mental health, why not explore it to the fullest. Using Romance as a cure-all is such an old romantic mindset. Kdrama are stuck in the bodice-ripper with all their stories. C-ent despite censorship seems to write about certain issues in a very progressive way, that is more realistic.
Whenever I feel that Kdramas are on to something good, they end up destroying their own good work by sending mixed messages. It's like they can never give a definite answer on important issues, the lead character always ends up making the worst decision or they destroy all the work done from the first episode. Are kdrama writers so afraid of going against grain.
In a country with so many mental health issues, I expected better and not an answer where love is supposed to heal everything. Well, it doesn't.
This show is just bonkers in the most ridiculous way. Fun to watch. Side note, I like the exaggerated way they speak Japanese and all their intonations, plus the weird gangster types.
Can someone please tell me where to get the opening theme song and closing theme song, I can't seem to find it on YouTube Music. I know the opening song is by Wanuka.

They can never go the feminist, liberating route.
