That's how people discredit victims by twisting and turning them into enemies. So nothing new about that tactic she doesn't need to be nice for one to believe her story.
Perpetrators and individuals associated with them resort to character assassination as a defense mechanism to deflect blame, responsibility, or accountability for their actions. By discrediting the victim, they aim to undermine the credibility of their claims or shift the focus away from their own misconduct.
Not his fault how? She was his girlfriend and they were in a relationship. He created hot mess situation himself.…
Well she didn't seem to think so, actually she was very hurt by his "innocent" actions of being abandoned by him.Leave Sulli out of this guy's irresponsible behavior. You cannot compare these two situations. Asking someone to have an abortion to save your career has nothing to do with Sulli.

Please don't tell me what to say or what to think. Some people like him and some people don't, not everyone believes him or his version of events.Nothing special about that, we all entitled to our opinion. Accept that and stop preaching under people's posts. The reason he mentions it is because he knows some people don't see him the same way anymore.
Wait. Hmm.. She exposes her own personally private issues to the public in order to end his career and make it…
Yeah, there are two sides to a story and i already choose the side i believe, which is not his side or his version of truth. She was incredibly brave to put herself out here knowing how Asian society (world in general) is hard and critical of women and blame them for misfortunes that are created by misogyny. In the end wasn't she crucified for it, labeled and discredited even to the point of being called a liar. So please preach to someone else.
IT'S NOT HIS FAULT YET WHY HE HAS TO APOLOGIZE AGAIN & AGAIN . IT'S HIS LIFE .
Not his fault how? She was his girlfriend and they were in a relationship. He created hot mess situation himself. She just decided to make the situation public because he did something to piss her off. If you have skeletons in the closet make sure the doors are properly closed, put a lock on it. Don't ever think it cannot crawl out.
Hopefully, he sincerely apologized to the woman whose heart he broke in trying to protect his own career. Whatever you say, it was the two of them in a relationship and they carry equal responsibility. His good image is gone for a good reason, you can slut-shame her but he even once dated/loved that kind of woman. It also says a lot about his character.

He should have apologized, because his case will always follow him and those who employ him. People will always…
i agree , you are not the only one that feels this way. I think mature people will always be skeptical of a man that allows a woman to have an abortion for the benefit of both of them but then slut-shame that woman.
This was a great movie from a philosophical point of view although it has its trippy moments. It was better than i expected and i even ended up getting swept away by some emotions when i least expected it. I guess the biggest problem is separating reality from those trippy moments, so that you can construct a story or feel like you understand the story. In the end you may still have questions.
i still cannot get over what happened, i liked him before. It broke my heart and i still haven't recovered. Its a good thing i currently have K-content fatigue.
So why did Kyosuke marry and remain with Mutsumi if she was such a serial cheater? I didnt understand that. Did…
Well its a sort of happy ending, since its a cheating drama after all. Yes, Kyosuke and Kaori end up together ( both divorced their partners to be together, they move somewhere else after Kyosuke's accident).
Its a feminist story that tries to explore the meaning of love, finding love and keeping love. but also questions the traditional vs modern view of womanhood. The writer of the novel (Jakucho Setouchi) was an interesting character, she might have actually been describing her own life .
I was like i know this woman's face, then realized she is Dr Cha in 2023...but not sure why she bothered with him, such a stubborn guy holding on to some crazy ideals but wants to play house with her. Idiotic.
You should watch Thai Lakorn and see how their culture of having mistresses messes them up. The many fights between the big house and the small house, they have a concept of Mia Luang & Mia Noi. Even Kdrama Sageuk depict some of the chaos involved when a leader has many concubines poison each other because of jealousy.
In my country polygamy is legal on both traditional and religious grounds. Growing up i know at least a few families where the man had two or more wives but they were not happy and always trying to out do each other. Only the man benefits but he still gets alot of headache because of the in fighting and plotting against each other.
At one point the law had to be changed because a man would have a younger wife that would legally register the marriage while the older wife stuck on a farm somewhere would be left with nothing. So in the end it became law that both would inherit shares according to when they married, because in most cases couples are poor when they marry but get successful later and it was not fair for an old lady and her kids to lose everything because she was traditionally married.
So polygamy doesn't necessarily make people happy or change crappy human nature. A bad husband will still be bad to both wives.
