Amnesia doesn't change someone's character and she was pretty ambitious before as a teenager. More ambitious than the guy actually. So turning her into a docile, weak person seemed like just an overused plot device. I would have liked to see her still have dreams, even if they were different dreams but she was stuck with middle-aged men working as a taxi- driver and just miserable until the guy showed up. Which is not true or realistic.

The writer made it seem like her dreams were linked to her memory which is not true. She spoke up against her mother-in-law and got a divorce. That shows she had some spirit or spunk in her. She was actually stronger than her mum as well, so I don't get it at the end of the day. The writer tried very hard to keep the FL both infantile, innocent and stupid which contradicts with her earlier life and character and the story itself.

It's high time that script writers write better female characters, not victims of circumstances or plot devices.

I disagree, i think its a very important aspect to highlight especially when it comes to the kdrama industry which seems obsessed with youth and youth-centric stories.You rarely see older women being FL leads, besides playing mother-in-laws and grannies or just ajummas with no ambitions in life. There is hesitation when a drama is being headlined by older actors, unlike the young actors. Its like you are forgotten after a certain age, which i find very sad for talented actresses.

Please don't judge all Japanese dramas by these Manga adaptations. There are specific type of Manga-s that cater to different tastes, niches and even fetishes. Its like reading a romance novel, although each story is different you already know what type of characters you will get in each specific troupe for example Rich guy/Poor Girl, Innocent Girl/Bad Boy. A series with 9 episodes of 30 min is bound to be moving very fast and there is no time to explain certain aspects of the drama. Its like a limited edition (fantasy) and you are just supposed to enjoy what is presented in from of you.Go along for the ride. That's why Manga is popular, its a quick read outside of your logic.

Haha, not to be taken serious. Its like a soft bad boy erotica novel and i have a feeling the Manga was/is highly addictive . Though the Yakuza might be a bit offended by how they are portrayed in this series. i enjoyed the sexy dialogue, beautiful cinematography and ridiculousness of the whole premise of this series.
