Its a 6.5 for me.I think the plot of this drama is good but the problem is with the actors or director. There is very little emotions for the emotional situations where someone should be crying their heart out. For a couple that is madly in love you actually never really feel it or see it. ML becomes a puppet and never recovers his role, FL is so dumb and too saintly. And why is everyone apologizing to the evil person that created all the mess. It lacks the crazy, screaming ,hair pulling, Thai lakorn feel though the story-line promises it.In the end nothing much happens.
I felt the opposite. I felt it was better. I like the independent F.L. she didn't do it to get her hubby back…
I always know by the second episode if I'm going to like a show, but in most cases i will stick with it to the end because i watch according to the plot/story lines. So before i watch, i already selected the show bcoz story line or believe its something I'm going to like. The only thing left would be confirmation of whether or not it was really a good drama that deserves its rating etc. I literally research before watching. I can never random watch anything.

Lol, i need to learn to let go of bad dramas. Its just that i take long to decide on what to watch and i spend alot of time reading comments so that i watch the best shows. But with MDL the best shows are often not that great.

i somehow find it hard to drop a show once i get started but i basically watch most stuff at 2.5x -3x . I expected the movie to be a continuation of her romance but it was more a continuation of her confusion. Even the people we hated made an appearance, just to further annoy us. instead of writing a movie that at least gave her a fairy tale ending, they had to torture her even more The worst part is it was 4 years later and she was still confused.

That was the right call to make, because i wanted to punch something. I could not imagine how upset i felt about a 10 year old TV drama. So i can just imagine how the people that watched it while it was airing felt. It messes you up.
i even watched the final episode/movie of TFW, it was just as frustrating as the drama and not the perfect ending i wanted in terms of her being fierce.

Don't wanna lie, the Taiwanese version left me feeling depressed and so angry because i could not understand that woman. I know if it had happened to me i would be burning stuff down and not being so accommodating and lecturing everyone and inviting them to stay with me. It was just too unrealistic.
Mia has the right balance of everything and from the start she was never naive or too nice. At least her husband also seemed to care about their kid.

Agree, till the end FL in TFW was confused about her own choices and managing everyone's emotions except her own. TFW felt intense because the FL was written as a pitiful, weak character, even till the end she never feels or looks fierce. Mia FL had her own short-comings but she seemed more determined and i loved that she never forgives at the expense of her own emotions.
It was like watching a Maggi ad break, for Maggi soy sauce(etc) . The FL is confused about her own life but has the guts and audacity to counsel and give advice to the whole nation?. Not a very good role model in my opinion, while i appreciate the women empowerment element of the show and mature relationships the message is somewhat contradictory.
I have to agree. For me it is a 3 due to the FL. I do not mind slow or trusting FLds but this one was so way over…
That's really the main weakness of MDL, most people do not even care how they rate a drama as long as their fav actor/actress is in them. This affects the rating of Thai Lakorns and Kdramas , people are more into the couples than the drama/story itself. Partly the main reason Jdramas are my favourite is because there is less of this. So if you are like me and watch for the plot as well you will be disappointed many times and its rare to stumble upon a rare gem.
For me a 7 is standard rating for any drama you will not miss, if you don't watch it. I normally try to watch dramas with at least a 7.5 because to me most 7.5 are actually just 7. But if i like the plot i might even watch it if it has a lower score.
But just try to watch the stuff you like because folks here cannot be trusted to be critical or objective.
I'm only watching this show because it is the Thai remake of the Taiwanese drama "The Fierce Wife". I hope i will hot be angry after watching it. Wish me luck.
Hopefully in the future screenwriters will stop writing about this type of woman that is a Saint and is responsible for everyone's feelings but her own and be more realistic and trust a woman's choice. Despite saying in the synopsis that she becomes stronger, she still acted confused even at the end, which sends the wrong message.
This was more a battle of wits between the lawyers than a romantic drama. There is zero romance between the FL and the "new" guy, its very nuanced. I enjoyed some of the plot twists. I have to say Tuk always plays the role of evil mother/person so well. I'm surprised people don't think she is evil in real life.
Four years later, it Doesn't look to me like she learned much if she can still afford to be that confused about her life and her decisions.Still has no boundaries in her own life.
I'm very upset, i don't understand why in Thai drama we must apologize even to old brooms that hates us and kills us in almost every life time.Bitter, old & evil yet i must apologize. Or they become a monk when they were the evil one, you think i will visit your temple You Evil person/monk.
