The first BL that tugged at my heart strings and i don't have any complaints about even when the story unrealistic/ fantasy. A beautifully told drama that resonates with anyone that questions life, love and grief. No cliches, just a journey into understanding and making peace with living in a world where you are searching for something that cannot be found or will neve r be found because its gone. A story that stays in your heart.
I love Andy/Yvonne trying to make the best of what she has with her life despite the rejection, pain and betrayal by her family and society. Andy/Yvonne remains a kind, compassionate and sympathetic person who welcomes others in her life. She is the only one who is true to herself. The final twist made me angry but I do hope Yvonne doesn't give up on herself even though everyone/society tries to take away everything from her all the time (love, desire, dignity, choice). I'm optimistic that she is a survivor and will be fine.
I was rolling my eyes all the way to the last episode. The good thing is that its a short drama and the smile of the ML (Naito Shuichiro) made it all bearable.
Unfortunately, i had to drop it at the end. I tried to like it because it was short, but even that could not save the drama from ending up in my dropped list. It just wasn't engaging and the mum & sister just got on my nerves.
I was so ready to hate and bash this drama, but the ending was surprisingly satisfying. Turned out to be the drama, that i needed to watch and remember.
Am i weird, for not enjoying this show as much as i thought i would, with all these positive and sweet comments from all guys. I'm the worst, i guess ( sigh).
I always see these vulture like women who hover around other people's relationships wanting the guy for themselves. My question is, do these people really exist in real life?. Especially, when the guy is clearly a useless sort of person!
I think the reason Mukami died was because he didn't stand up for the distabled guy and agreed with everyone else…
They say the yakuza in Japan is a dying way of life because of government regulations and failure to get new members. I think his death is symbolic of the death of a way of life that is currently unsustainable.
I don't want to lie, but i cried like a baby while watching this. It was super-sad & heartbreaking. We always read…
My question is, so they didn't get an counselling for both the child and the parents. It's like the social workers just dumped him there without explaining to him about his past life. They all needed time to adjust and deal with their individual pain and trauma.
I don't want to lie, but i cried like a baby while watching this. It was super-sad & heartbreaking. We always read of stories like these in the papers. I was left with alot of questions again about SK system again.
