I just watched fan cam video from the set of Royal Princess, where he sleeps on his feet in full costume + make up, day time. He almost felt down. It seems they are all overworked.
If you watch this drama as a parody of arrogant/cold CEO, enemies to lovers, amnesia, lost identity and many other overused tropes it is very good watch.

I, personally, overrated this drama and I am standing by it! Why? Drama (or any movie, tv show) is more than just good story and good production. I was watching this drama while airing and every day there were new content created by actors themself or fans. Actors (and I don't mean just BL and ZLH) put lot of heart, love and positive energy into promoting this drama and I felt it! I even registered on this site so I could be part of SOKP community. :) Many really crappy dramas have high ratings so this one did deserve rating it has. We all give ratings based on our liking (of something or someone), our experience and emotions we develop while watching, plus for re-watching value it has for each of us. So, to conclude - it is overrated, but it is not!

Thank you. That is the point of my question, will he grow or will he stay this stupid (as many characters in c-dramas do). No offense, he is maybe young, and we can forgive him in that case, but he gave very powerful weapon that changed the course of war. And, we can be quite sure that peacocks are up to no good, so he helped them to defeat eagles. It is very stupid to help one side in war you know nothing about. So, he needs to grow. Thank you for your answer. But, just to be clear, I am not asking when will he fall for FL, I am asking will he ever going to start to use his brain and if yes - when? Because, if he starts to have brain he will at once realize that he is being used by peacock viper and that she is not nice person (so, she did not save him).
The way ML is written in this drama is how very often female leads are written in c-dramas: silly, stupid, easy to be tricked, easy to be used, making wrong choices, pointless... but cute. For me "cute" is not enough. So, can someone who read the novel spoil it for me: does he ever get better than this (episode 9) and when? I like FL but can't stand him any longer. Please spoil?

To be honest with you, HE, SE or BE... it is very important what kind of ending drama will have. For me, this is entertainment not Shakespeare, so I am not going to waste time and to involve myself into characters that will end up dead just because writer (or critique) thinks that SE is more "artistic" than HE. I notice that tendency with some reviewers to put down periodical dramas with HE. Every death must have purpose for me and good must live when there is possibility for it. For example, in AJTL 3 men who attacked one girl (FL) out of blue in episode 11, without giving her opportunity to say anything can die in episode 12, as far as I am concerned. Little "prince" should have HE. (I am at episode 11, so things might change) Now, this is only my opinion, but I do want to know as soon as possible spoilers for ending.

How stupid "smart" character can be, ha writers? This ML is one of the most unlikable ml in dramas I've ever seen. And, FL is not very much likable as well.
