God, thank you. Got on my nerves like, this character build is popular but script writers gotta stop making them so love driven like a dog in heat

Trigger warning because I’m getting quite frank. I believe its because the story flow isn’t consistent and lack in different areas. Its just another xianxia drama with the typical troupes. The same character set ups regarding antagonist, female lead, male lead, story lines (plural because they smashed a bunch of ideas together with glue). Basically, its just another white shirt. Not to say that it’s bad, it just doesn’t have much unique elements to it. I can guess where things are going everytime a new plot rolls around which means script has been replayed too many times, I can find the ending before it ends. Whoever has been voting, they may have been a veteran or someone who have watched various dramas which would explain its low score.

I was so into it that when I watched ep 11 in public…I cringed so badly that I couldnt finish it within 8 hours outside…I had to get home and then watch it…

This drama isn’t looking for fans. Its looking to portray art. Although the silence sometimes give eerie vibes, it also felt like floating amongst the noises

I’ve completed this drama in 2 days. I was simping over Nan Xu Yue at the beginning, bored around the middle, so done with the ending…it was good but it sounded a bit like, “with the power of friendship.” In the end. But it was a fun journey

Sometimes I stumble into his works and im just like, “Arianna, what are you doing here?”😭 Sir is showing up unannounced

Yeah. At least it has some good scenes. Very good emotional scenes..plot-wise…its okay? Kind of boring but the journey is a bit interesting

I thought so to but unless she meant Mo Fang and not her dad. She never had a dad in the first place…but then again…well…tough calls…how do u lose something you’ve never had?

This gave me a mini-heart attack because hiding something always makes me feel guilty and avoidant. I was so scared the entire time it was unfolding but I realized the story would definitely soften the blow

Before we jump into any societal debate…can we just stop and think maybe the woman was being petty and her ego just didnt allow her to lose to a nobody so she went undercover to play with him?

She’s so pretty! I liked her different styles in Miss Ye in Wonderland. I wanted to watch more of her work but it seems like she isnt in acting. Looking forward to seeing her in more dramas!

Okay…I finished it and I think I liked this ending the best out of all the transmigration drama out there so far (not counting unique lady…there’s 3 seasons and its messy.) I like how they expanded on the real life part and gave us closure. I got PSTD from ROTAR and LGIEF because they didn’t give us a good chunk of closure. I enjoyed the silly plot and its definitely got my stress back to 0. I forgive the writer for writing a messing middle plot because they ended things sort of well. Its like tying a rope together and making sure it didnt break. Comgrats to those who have completed and those who will complete it because it is a tough nut to crack.

Good job. Ive found 13 loopholes while watching. Im on episode 18. Looks like it shouldve ended but somehow the writer wants to add another 1800 words to get to the ending. I want this to end

Watching a fair share of cdramas, i can say that this could’ve ended around 20 episodes because I just skipped from 13 to 36 and it seems like I didn’t miss much. To guess, I suppose the consort was manipulated to get rid of Ji Chu’s mom by the empress because the empress saw the emperor’s interest in her. Empress then tried to murder the emperor after scheming to discredit Ji Chu with some felony accusations. She wants her son as a puppet emperor and she must’ve taken over the wei family’s militia or broken down their power and raised some sort of military army in secret. But her son was righteous so he worked with Ji Chu to dismantle his mother’s militia control. Not sure how correct or incorrect I am but it seems like there isn’t much I will miss aside from major character arcs and death of the princess. Ill watch this when there’s nothing else to watch.

I remember watching all episodes on youtube back in middle school. It was hard trying to remember what it was called but I specifically remember when she went back home and her house was bagged up. Thats what I remember most clearly…think its been like 6ish years

This drama gives me a hint of american production. I also really love the bgm for the fighting scenes. Backpackers. It reminds me of ninja turtle fighting scenes

I don't condone the actions and definitely confused on why the second couple ended up together but I was really moved by Ye Xingsi's story and struggle
