I have been in relationship for more than 5 years and I know real life is completely different from fairy tales, sometimes you make sacrifices and stand by her in hard times and when you are down, she backs you up.
It isn't about who made more sacrifices cuz the "Piece of mind" which comes with the idea of someone having your back is unfathomable, but FL behaviour was very negative from get go. There are certain boundaries in relationship you never cross and no man is going to forgive you for that but FL have been "above and beyond" everything. The boundaries are established when other party gets into the grey zone and you make them suffer bit of consequences but ML in this story has allowed FL to walk all over him, I am not against his sincerity cuz it would be very douche/scumbag of me to say it here and do it in real life.....but I am doing it after 5 years and we are childhood best friends to begin with.

This line is just beyond me and ML should never forgive her in this life, let alone rekindle their love. I kinda know why you continued to watch it cuz it was story of "Imperfect people with lot of grey characters and leads", the story had the potential to explore various complex emotions and portray layered and deep characters.
Alas this turned out to be shit show and I would recommend you watch JOL2 cuz it maintained the quality and plot depth of the first season, while introduced a lot of new characters at the same time.

I never thought I would hear that from you cuz you were speaking in favour of FL in the beginning, while we were cussing her and the ML for his simp attitude. I saw this shit coming from miles away (from ep 6) cuz unfortunately that's what happens in real life as well (you will be surprised at how common its).
Nobody will respect you, if you don't respect yourself (ML) and not everybody deserves to be loved (FL). Unfortunately, now they will whitewash FL misdeeds, trash personality and attitude in name of "White Knight" fighting for love. She will get away with everything without any consequences for her actions cuz writers' original objective was to full fill crazy women fantasy.
The producers got lucky with release schedule cuz apart from "Joy of life" it has no competition, and nothing is currently airing right now, otherwise people would have obliterated it here. Now I am quiet content with my decision of dropping it at ep 16
