Yep you are right about that, but ML and FL actors have a knack for picking unique and good scripts. Drama so far hasn't showed us any signs and ML even asked FL to date other people and gave his friend solid reasons, why he won't date her? According to him, they are very similar to each other and won't make a good couple.

There is a 50/50 chance, but so far drama has done good job of portraying childhood friends. I don't think writers are going to introduce that childhood love troupe cuz leads chemistry is natural and realistic so far. There is no indication of it happening and FL is very smart and successful woman, she would have detected it and reacted accordingly. It looks more like a case of undisclosed deep love and affection for each other, they are not feeling it now cuz they are very close, but once leads start meeting other people. They are going to realise it, confusion, chaos and out right denial will follow, but they will look for ML/FL in their blind dates and judge them based on how similar they are to other lead. This hit way close to home for me !
All Hail! The return of realistic scoundrel men after Virginification and SIMPification campaigns of 2024😂😂😂😂😂! Unfortunately, the relationship dynamics portrayed here are very realistic. Gone were the days when people once love with their souls, didn't worship physical beauty and yearned for inner charm. The sparks of that kind of love have extinguished with the rise of social media and instant attention and gratification, now love has become child's play and joke. People don't believe in solving problems with proper communication in relationship anymore and whole thing has become mere business with simple transaction of "Give and take". If FL properly voiced her concerns regarding SML habit of throwing money at the problem, she won't be in current situation, if SML paid attention to his girlfriend and saw the multiple red flags. He could have seen the writing on the wall, that she can't take it in anymore, he won't be in current predicament of being cheated on by his seven-year-old girlfriend. ML and FL friend are gold diggers, and they deserve whatever is coming their way, if you are with somebody cuz of his money in 21st century its a very high chance, he knows it too and hence will use you for as long as he pleases. SFL has problems but she is a good woman (rare top 3% chick in my opinion), her communication and EQ issues are not that serious and solvable problems. Over the years I have learned a simple lesson, 95% problems (including the ones shown in drama) in a relationship due to which majority breakup nowadays can be solved with proper communication and good will, apart from INFEDILITY. It can never be solved and you should immediately breakup with that person and give them the freedom they yeans! I like it how all though bit hard to swallow but ITS A VERY REALISTIC SHOW!

I think he just doesn't care anymore and was trying to hold on to makeshift believe that she still loves him and relationship will work. He isn't any better than FL regarding maturity to effectively communicate, voice his concerns and form boundaries. Which in my opinion are solvable problems! but at least he isn't trying to actively cheat and look for other woman, he did fight for their relationship albeit in wrong way by sending the gifts. He do lacks maturity tho, failed to see the "Red flags" and indulged her behaviour. That's why I believe as of right now, they should break up and work on themselves. They can date again down the line but I highly doubt it and I kinda feel bad for FL cuz she was there, when he had nothing and stood by him through "Thick and thin". I am pretty sure he needed her emotional support during hard times and she listened to his problems and gave him outlet to vent. Guys are usually rough around the edges and its the woman who usually teach them otherwise, she probably put up with his cave man logic antics as his first girlfriend. taught him how to treat woman and made him a better version of himself. You are right about that but FL, her friend and SFL emotions and justifications are taking lion share of screentime. I was trying to say, they should show us bit more of SML point of view like why he didn't pursue her harder and why he will cheat. I was told by novel readers he will cheat too!

I have watched ep 9 and 10, you can call me dickhead but I don't think they were that bad, and people were over-reacting in the comment section. There were few good scenes but nothing at the lvl of angst people had me believe. It has seen far worse angst than this in ER and patient family members usually overreact whenever we take them in for surgery.
