I just don't understand him why he didn't killed/silenced his mother hunch men moment he knew the truth. Lets suppose somehow, he gets away with the case and that dude lived...ML will go back to the capital and report the whole ordeal to the sceptical Emperor.
SML can fool pei people but Emperor don't trust him and hence whole plan was useless!

I knew dude was shaddy from the get-go cuz he was exhibiting behavioural patterns of upper-class trash from the get-go but people were confused and I am glad, they woke up and saw his true colors.

I am willing to understand SML point of view apart from "Forcing victim to sleep with her rapist part" and I don't know people are confused, his behavioural pattern was very clear from the beginning, and he has used FL life as a bait multiple times before this, even after she got hurt again and again. He is no better himself than the rapist, he was trying to save cuz he has physically forced FL before and will attempt to force himself on her again multiple times.
He could have given small punishment to the trash and cleared the weapon case at the same time but nope, he has to cross extreme limit.

Although I am watching this drama but your reaction to his comment was completely overblown, synopsis and the novel readers comments made it seem like FL will be proud cheater and playboy of some sort, who will do evil and drama will show us evil doers point of view.
But what we got is completely different, here FL is shown as victim and they are trying to come up with reasons to justify her behaviour and that what's original commenter is talking about.
There is no justification for cheating and SML is not even country to confuse her, neither is he holding gun to her head to force her to be with him. We rule in 21st century she had right and opportunity to "break up" with him but instead she choose to do cheat and do wrong.
Now I am enjoying this drama (will prolly finish it) and I know you don't want people to wreck the comment section but you are coming out wayyyyyyyyyyy to strong here.
