When she married him and completed the ceremony, SHE BOWED HER HEAD DOWN AND CONSENTED and NOW SHE IS CONSENTING TO FORM CP WITH HIM. Stop making shit up, nobody was holding sword to her head and she walked all the way from her kingdom to his, never run away, never said NO and happily completed the ceremony. Its not considered saying "No" by any stretch of imagination. Now if she want to sleep with old guy, then its her own free will MaM. Her right to use her body and make decision for her benefit, far outweighs Y'all trash opinion. Lol, nobody is your slave and hence they don't have to conform and live their according to your morals and views. I get where you are coming from I am also not looking forward to see a 60+ dude romance a teenage girl but "its her life her right" and we don't have the right to tell people, how to live their life and unfortunately its realistic and historically accurate.
But I still think that if he hadn’t worked with the CP, the CP would still have tried to kill the beauties in…
"lol Jinghe mentioned Yueqin's name in a bad way to Meilin before" and he was COMPLEYLY right about that cuz Yueqin right hand man was indeed involved in smuggling and was trying to save the chief culprit of Qinzhou fire case. ML didn't do it out of jealousy it was very natural for him to suspect him, when his most loyal servant was going around doing this shit.
I've been seeing the signs I deliberately chose to ignore but are the Emperor and Zigu an ACTUAL CP 😳??! A…
Its historically accurate and Zigu is an adult woman, who consented into marrying the emperor out of her free will. He was not taken advantage of the situation to force her to consummate, nor is he trying to make scenarios of close encounters in which, she will fall in love with him.
Novel readers please answer my question (in spoiler)?
I have lingering feeling due to be absence of FL mother dead body, bones and other corpses in the Qinzhou fire flasbacks. That all 50,000 people were not burned alive, instead they were forced to do slave labour in mines to collect iron/jewels/money to make weapons for Crown Prince rebellion. I don't know if crow prince was on it or not but Zhang guy (in ML captivity) may very well have shipped those people to mine to preform slave labour and FL mother is actually alive to this day. I also suspect Emperor knew what his bastard son did and General Yin will marry crown prince and harm ML but she will turn back in the end, when she discovers CP betrayal.
is fl who admitted her mistakes or it's again ml Also !? than you
FL admitted her wrongdoings about Yu Si behaviour, furthermore she understood ML intentions behind allowing her father to arrange the death festival and thanked ML for encouraging/giving her opportunity to say her goodbye to her dying father, and officially confirmed their relationship.
so she was celibate all the years separated from him and she only loo over him from start to the end!? thank you,…
Lol don't worry and we should praise FL for repeatedly telling the dude, "You are my friend nothing more", calling out friend attempts at ruining their relationship by telling ML "I like her" and after that ignore him like an STD.
Oh nice. Can't wait to watch the remaining episodes.
Yep the ending is good and it could have been a 8+ drama if they didn't ruin the mid (ep 154-18). "so she was celibate all the years separated from him and she only loo over him from start to the end!? thank you," I know its hard to believe and it defies common sense but friend collaborated her story about "Celibacy" and her undying love for ML, apparently she regretted the breakup every day and never moved on!
so what episode she name her relationship with him to be official or she didn't till last minute of the drama…
She didn't cut him off completely, but it was degraded to very low lvl and after that episode. Dude can't dare speak shit about ML anywhere near her, let alone to his face.
Guys, that was overall solid 8 watch for me and this drama really surprised me with character growth for all characters. I was angry at FL in beginning for her numerous character flaws, but then we were offered solid reasoning for her behaviour and even supposed evil father was also give a chance to redeem himself and say his side of the story. I had a "Love hate relationship" with FL character, loved her absolute loyalty to ML from get go but hated her selfishness but she proved her worth in the end, showed maturity and tried to rectify her mistakes by making the proposal. The emotional and character growth FL showed in this drama was something I was expecting from a lot of FL's in other dramas, this year and finally I hunger was appeased by someone worth of praise. I will credit where its due, she trolled Yu Si/ her friend hard in ep 20. He was thinking she is in hurry to "refuse me" to protect their friendship and FL was like nahhh, bitch you ain't that important and I don't give a flying "F" about your feelings. I was just angry at myself for judging my boyfriend wrongly🤣 🤣 🤣. The way she said it with expressionless and "No fucks given" attitude, thats some next lvl BRUTALITY... dude poured his heart out and she showed him "Middle Finger" with her response/words and "whatever dude attitude". Nahhh that was EMOTIONAL ABUSE, ML atleast managed to get response out of her in form of anger (which showed she cares) but here she was completely unfazed. Thanks for talking to me, see you guys around....BYE!

Brother lets give credit where its due, she trolled Yu Si/ her friend hard in ep 20. Omg the drama! If people still wonder why FL doesn’t want to get married, this episode is the perfect explanation.…
Keep watching, they will give proper closure to this situation in ep19 and FL will realise just cuz he doesn't end up with her mom doesn't change the fact. He is not her dad and didn't care for her during the childhood, I will also blame mom for their current predicament... she shouldn't have involved a child in adult/their relationship problems. It feels (seems to me) like FL trauma comes from "brainwashing against her father" done by her mom. Divorce is a normal part of modern human life. People grow apart from eachother and end up wanting different things in life, but when one party starts involving children in their mess by feeding them negative information about another parent. That's where problems begins, kids are not living human beings not WEAPONS to be used to target the other party. The fault lies with both parents for giving their daughter mental health issues.
Her dad…just bleh. He literally had only half of lung left and was able to run around and act a fool at his…
Wait what happened? I don't have the motivation to watch latest episodes, so I am asking does anything noteworthy happened? What does FL realized regarding Yu Si?
