Here any woman can randomly decide to divorce a guy and court will give 50% of assets regardless of the cause, like she can cheat on him with 20 dudes, never pay for anything like house mortgage or utility bills, down payment of the car and never deposit a dime into joint bank account/husband bank account. The court will still rule in her favour and hand her over 50% of men wealth. That's what I have problem with but if both parties deposited money into joint bank account, paid for car, house and other she was economically contributing to the relationship. Then I don't have problem with talking and dividing the assets bought by couples money. It's not 1800's and being a housewife is a choice, woman can go out and earn their will. So, isn't it unfair to steal your partner house, car and 50% of money just cuz you don't like him anymore and want to divorce?

The problem is FL overall antics and selfish behaviour, if we observe their relationship from very start FL has been very selfish and she doesn't care about his "feelings" about anything. She knows he loves her deeply and she tend to use it to manipulate ML into doing what she wants. She knew what dude wanted but she let him live in false hope, due to which he proposed and then she shoot him down. Then she didn't even bother to explain and used his feelings against him to manipulate the dude into agreeing her going aboard (forcefully converted into Long distance relationship). After that dude did the heavy lifting and commuted between continents to meet her, then she didn't bother to explain to him about extending her stay and manipulated him to into agreeing. After that, she decided she doesn't want to date him anymore and forced a breakup. Then now, she manipulated ML into joining her show, when he quitted used his stupid mother against him and finally knowing very well. What kind of relationship ML wants, she manipulated into current status quo. That's what people have problem with, its her selfish behaviour of "My way or Highway" and let just say, these were big things. She isn't compromising on minor stuff either, liking harshly rebuking her friend. Who has used her to disrespect ML multiple times right in front of her. The complete lack of respect, selfish behaviour and disregard for his feelings is what's wrong with this relationship.
