In the webtoon The ML died from commiting suicide, which means his death at that time is his own will, but now in the drama they change it to car accident, which means it has nothing to do with his will any longer & more in the works of fate.
So now idk how he can deviate his fate (died in a car accident) this time coz it never happens in the webtoon 🤧

Thing I just notice: one simple change from the webtoon regarding the ML may affect the plot quite significant:

That's what I get from their sub, I'm just as puzzled as you coz I thought the same, but maybe coz they're lawyer so they know there's a loophole in their law in which DM can use to get away, or even if he'll be charged it'd be too minimal.
We don't know their law either, maybe some works different, idk 😂

What I get is, what he did isn't somewhat harmful enough so he can easily find a leeway & get a way with it, so they need to find anotherway to punish him.
But yeah I wish she can put at least restraining order on him or something

Cdrama airing schedule has never been consistent, they can be two ep a day, 1 ep or none 😅

Ep 14 is a good episode, CXX look extra dreamy (I'm swooning left and right from his character on MB & now here on OI watching it back to back, lol) & FL opened up a lil', they hv beautiful-couple moment here 🥹

So in short the thing get in the way between them is only her pride 🤡
Well considering how big is her pride, it does make sense although quite wtf 😂
Wish XYC take a step back to test & see her reaction 😏

I wish to see more effort coming from her too, hopefully soon so it won't be feel like QH having one sided crush towards her, I feel sorry for him alr, seeing her all clueless & oblivious like that 🥲

Reset isn't a romcom & idt it's comparable at all as they're more a suspense, time travel, mistery drama & never been a romance theme drama, it's like comparing apple to mango. Plot driven vs Character driven as well, they're different.

Yups, it's actually unexpected for me coz given the premise I thought MB will be the more cringe worthy one coz they're lighter than OI, but I find MB deal with thropey scene in a more refreshing way (hence it doesn't feel cliche) + their comedy is on point, while OI shown it in more cringe way for a supposed to be more mature drama. I love both leads but find myself feel more invested/obsessed with MB more than OI maybe coz there're too many unnecessary supporting characters scene in OI than MB (which more heavily focused on the couple/main leads scenes)

I'm up to date with both drama ep, I personally prefer My Boss but both are good, it's just a matter of taste/ personal preference, those who like a hilarious romcom & heartfluttering moments might prefer MB, and those who like 2nd chance love with interesting topics (AI vs human) might prefer OI. CXX have great chemistry with both co-partner of his, he's sweeter on MB (tho a tsundere) & playful on OI.
It's up to your taste, maybe you could try both & see it from there.
As for overall script, I think MB is more coherent, OI I find inconsistent at times with quite some cringe worthy scenes/ topics (like the ice cream scene, 2nd pairing scene, bad eng pronounciation for a supposedly fluent speakers, etc) but both have their ups and down.
