Is this following the same script as Perfect Marriage Revenge, or is it completely different?
MMH has more meaningful, poignant messages w/ deeper connection the leads are sharing compare to PMR which's more leaning towards makjang, they may hv similar premise/rebirth as concept but their take, value & focus are different.
Not sure if I can continue watching it anymore, I'm at ep 18 (or was it 17) but I'm already lost interest & dragging my feet too much at this point. They're adding too many fillers with weird & offputting secondary & third pairings! they jeopardize the show & making it loose its steam real quick, like who the heck is even care for this unmatched, childish pairing that's hard to buy. When this childish & spoiled characters alone already hard for me to digest as a character, now they even brew a nonsense coupling for these two !@$%^&
I'm trying to hold on for the love I have for CXX, but I just can't, maybe later if I miss him too much, or maybe not if I keep seeing these unneeded supporting characters dominating the screen. So I guess until then I'm dropping the show.
Finally an ep that's sweet enough to make you feel so single, lol Gotta envy Cheng Yao, she gets a complete package, a smitten & doting handsome ML with a hilarious & adorable MIL, that too with a brightest career & future ahead 😂 I see improvement on CY's side, she learn to show her affection more & grow a backbone to be a better lawyer, so I feel content w/ this ep 🥰
They make me cried on ep 7 The talk between Ji Won & Ji Hyuk is everything, it's heartbreaking , deep & their chemistry TT It's way more beautiful than most romcom I watched these days
Tho I enjoyed watching PMR end of last year but I find the leads on MMH has deeper & meaningful bond. They really developed their backstory & bonding moment well. Also there's major difference between the two, PMR leans towards makjang & suspense more while MMH leans towards poignant story, deeper ground & the kind that will last in your memory more ♡
Also, as a person who read & enjoy MMH webtoon, gotta say I loved the drama more, they actually make change for the better. So far 7ep out of 16ep, they just keeps getting better & better.

If love triangle with SFL is the only way for the drama to show the FL's genuine feelings towards the ML then I'll take what it takes. I feel CY has taken QH's feelings for granted for quite a bit & being indifferent towards their relationship.
It bugs me a lil' since the show keep showing the ML do all the work & she just plainly received it? Like girl, how could you? Couldn't you be more attentive/ reciprocate his feelings for a lil'? 🥲 I wouldn't be this mind if she show enough appreciation/ respect for his care. I always give her the benefit of the doubt & always consider her insecurity to the table but atp it has become too much. Like what else he needs to do for her to assure her his feelings?
It's a pity if a romcom only show 1 party being invested on the relationship, instead of both.
No it's the other way around, he's way whipped, soft & doting her eversince they're dating, but to me he's already show his concern & care in his own way even before he has feeling for her, he's a great boss & has a really high tolerance/ patience towards her, it's just the FL is way emotional professional wise yet too slow & oblivious in private matters. I feel she never show her feeling towards him & their relationship feels heavier on the ML side

This!!! I swear it's actually a good idea to put beautiful quote in every ep to add poetic touch to the drama but the way it's being delivered is so horrible with that bad pronounciation, I can't help but cringing every single time than thinking it was beautiful. It's also ironic given in earlier ep they critic a certain ppl for having bad pronounciation yet what they did is even worse to me

Idgaf w/ this Shasha character and her constant sulking face she kept wearing all the time. Her scene served no purpose to me except being a moody childish FL who needs to be coax over and over *rollseyes
Tong Xin is a great character, strong and clear minded and even in dealing relationship, she is so mature.
I like her character more than LX tbh, wonder how wonderful & different this drama would be if they make this a mature drama about XYC and TX where both of them find eachother through support and friendship after they both suffered from the failure of their respective previous relationship. XYC a single man & TX as a single mother form a new family with his god son later become his real registered son. Idt I've seen anydrama with this kind of plot.
I'd rather hv a drama with ML move on to a better-more balance & healthier relationship than keep making a drama with ML being a simp despite how poorly they're being treated by the FL (which we get often in cdrama). This is me talking in general btw, not necessarily referring to this drama only.
