Exactly! I second that, he shows genuine concern even from the start & a decent guy than most cold ML we hv in drama land, I find his character while being cold & strict, it's still in the appropriate amount as her boss (properly reflect how worklife is) & we can see how he's often feeling guilty inside too (props to CXX acting), he has a warm heart despite his cold appearance/attitude, like what the FL said as well

People being irritated with the ML or FL while here I am loving both 😂

To me they're completing eachother well & made for eachother, it's just they needed more time to adjust & adapt to find the right common ground as both hv polar opposite characters. One is warm and innocent, such a ray of sunshine & the other is preserve, distant & rather strict/ cold but they're both kind & unique on their own.
No body is perfect, one can be kind but with temper too, and one can hv a weakness being kind & taken advantage by the other, that's just how life is.

I'm just grateful this drama is exist, coz despite the engsub isn't a proper translation one, I still find the story, chemistry & flow engaging & being invested in the drama sm, while other drama might hv a proper sub but I often lost my interest as it gets draggy/boring.

Me: I'm not into modern Cdrama, less I find them likeable & rather lots I find cringeworthy

Also Me: watch both My Boss & Our Interpreter & got hooked by their 1st/2nd ep rightaway 😂

I'm in love with both of this drama, both couple has great chemistry & CXX is really convincing in his role, both of his partner too!!! such a good drama to start the new year ❤️🔥

Ep 10 is really gooood!!! My fav ep to date, the romance is blossoming, main leads communicates well & share more private matters, have things in common etc.
I really love their dynamics & natural bonding grew by time, and THEIR CHEMISTRY!!!
they haven't even hold their hands or anything but I keep gigling & grinning like a fool watching their interaction, so adorable but with tension, that gaze, smile, makes my heart flutter 🥹❤️💞

It's also funny to find Qian Heng actually can be quite dramatic like his mom 🤣

So far if you want to watch them up to date with eng sub then kisskh machine translation is the only option available for international viewers, viki/viu is way behind with less airing date release either. Idk why they won't air it on Youku int'l & provide engsub daily as it airs like usual but prolly coz Linmon pictures (the production company) has a contract with Viki/Viu (like AJTL). Gotta say tho, kisskh machine translation isn't that bad, I'm all caught up with the ep & can understand the story just fine.

Lol, why r u so serious? if you continue watching the drama then you'll know how his mom is a very dramatic person & funny like that, he's just playing along with her nagging game & stood on her level w/ witty reply, it's something custom running in his family, a joke to her constant nag that happens all the time, even his dad know & trying to get used to/ adapted to his mom's dramatic reaction/ nagging that happens often now and then. That scene was never meant to be taken seriously, like how you're joking with your own brother/ sister.

Same for me, I hv Youku subscription but I have to watch this ilegally coz the legal subscription provided in my region (Viu) is way late behind as well & since the series I find so damn addictive, I just can't wait anm. Wish they can make this available internationally on Youku or even other platform is ok as long as they're up to date with sub but oh well sadly they don't so I hv no choice.

A drama can be simple & cliche but feel good & special if it's done right & MC had chemistry, just a true romcom as they should (like this drama is rn for me).

It sounds easy to find but to me I don't get to see these right kind true romcom that often, esp not these days, not anymore, they often over complicated things or the opposite they're just dull, boring or even cringe.

However I find so far this one is really a nice romcom w/ so much chemistry, bickering & their natural acting making it feel real & fluttering 😁

Man they have so much natural chemistry that I can't even tell if this is a BTS or onscreen take, seriously they're so cute, sweet & adorable yet sizzling!!! Such a perfect pairing, the casting director did a great job!

Not only their visual, characters & dynamics blend and completing eachother really well, their height difference is even perfect 🥹

This two drama is on my cw/ptw despite I wasn't into modern cdrama, CXX looks so good in modern outfit, or uniform like what he wear on Fall in Love (2021), fell in love with his acting there, such a great actor w/ unique charisma.
I'm thrilled to find both modern drama of his airing this Jan'24 & so looking forward to it (so far am really satisfied with My Boss)
But for real though, we may feel deprived after both of these drama completed, hopefully his other modern cdrama with ZYX (CXX as a doctor) can get distribution license soon so they can get a chance to air it in 2024

For SEA, Viu is holding their rights, you shd be able to find it there although they're quite behind than the Mainland's release
