I adore the family part on Go Ahead (best part of the show) but dislike the romance part the most as I find their relationship unnecessary (& unhealthy) coz the ML needs therapy more than the force romance they choose to gave him, so hopefully the adaptation put more attention to that & develop it better here
Was going to watch this one for Alen Fang but seeing it's a SE it's better not to watch.
Nooo..., please give it a chance! the ending is beautiful to me, a very memorable drama & one of the best performance from Alen Fang β€οΈ (I'm done binging most of his works & this is my fav series of him along w/ The Longest Promise where he played as 2nd ML)
Glad that I waited for quite a bit before watching, I'm having a blast binging all their 10 ep yesterday π₯° They remind me of Someday or One Day which I truly adore & loved, happy to find another diamond β€οΈ
2 ep in & in love with it, quite original premise w/ interesting grey characters as leads, it's intriguing & different than most drama. Looking forward to see FL & ML redemption arc and overcome their tragic past. Idc if the FL is a scammer, the ML is not a good father either, imo it's even make the drama more interesting & unpredictable to see how they develop everything later.
Ep 1 was da bomb! Didn't expect it'd be like this, it's gloomy but it has dark humor, w/ morally ambiguous leads character, making it interesting, intriguing & unpredictable, I'm hooked!
The so called "Lifestyle disease" though π€£ππ€£π€πππ
I'm loving this (currently at ep 22) except this Ruyi girl, grrrr she's so annoying, such a spoiled brat with no redeeming value, a manipulative shameless selfish b**ch, stupid, cocky & dense SFL, such a waste of air @#$%^&!! Please let her be humiliated to her lowest & be rot in hell π€
The moment they're trying to shove new romantic pairing for Soo Jin I was screaming at my screen NOOO, please DON'T!! Coz I feel lt wasn't necessary unless they're going for that route as her future consolation path since Seon Yul may not survive this π€§ Please DO survive Seon Yul, you deserve to be happy & have your Wonderful World too ππ
On a side note, we need more drama like this, with melo undertone & mystery surrounds it, this drama reminds me alot of Misty (& not because both drama has KNJ playing as the lead). A series that I truly adore & find it memorable yet harder to find.
Suho: "We're like this because of him" Me: πππ err no dude, you brought it upon yourself, just because SH doesn't know the truth it doesn't make you any less guilty & so there it goes my last respect for him π
Ep 11 had me bawled non stop π Even my tears keep dropping as a type this π Eun Woo has really grown as an actor, such stellar acting, my heart hurts for him ππ€§
Same goes w/ Soo Hyun, shdn't Soo Hyun feel any sense of remorse/sorry that she murdered his father & ruined the…
Still it's even too hard for her to say her sorry for what he's been through, after knowing his identity she never approach him first to show her genuine care & regret for his suffering, she choose to neglect his & focus on her entitle feelings. Instead she give him a threat for his threat, eye for an eye. She doesn't feel sorry just like his father too. I believe things will be different if she show him her genuine care, SY is alr even feel conflicting w/out it.
Seonyul is a grey character and the thing with grey characters is that it's hard to be indifferent to them. You…
There's a lot of handsome people out there w/ high degree scholarship that's hard to get a job, let alone a drop out, a good career enough to pay his mother's hospital bill doesn't build in one night & even it's never guaranteed, he can't afford to make a gambling out of his mother's life, just saying. Hospital bills is no joke, most people can be overwhelmed by it even those who has a stable good job. One day hospital exp can cost you 1 month salary (depends on the meds, room & tools being used).

She never said sorry nor expressing it to him though, she keep giving him this "grand advice of her" but never want to approach him & his family at the first place if she doesn't fall for his trick, so for that he know, no she doesn't feel sorry to his family. Her advice doesn't matter & evenmore triggering to him since basically he doesn't have that much choice the moment she murdered his father.
Is this super heavy drama? Like almost depressing, nobody allowed to smile and not a single funny side character?…
Not heavy for me, it does dealing w/ tragedy but for me it's more intriguing to watch seeing some questionable choice the main leads make that making them grey characters but also relatable, rather than black and white characters we used to have as main leads
Doesnβt Seonhyul feel any sense of remorse that his father killed an innocent child while drunk driving??
Same goes w/ Soo Hyun, shdn't Soo Hyun feel any sense of remorse/sorry that she murdered his father & ruined the kid's life? She may not feel remorse for his father, but she shd feel sorry for his family, wife and kid who's innocent. His catalyst for revenge isn't due to she murdered his father but more because she doesn't show/ feel any kind of remorse (even to his fam) & persist that murdering his father is justified, which contradicting to her own reason to hv her revenge at the first place. Now she did the same thing to what ML's father did, show no remorse for killing ppl.
