I enjoyed WoL until I don't & end up hating on it coz what's being introduced as equal is no longer present in the later half & even far off balance for me 🥴

Her uncle doesn't exist on the webtoon, there's no such thing as 3mo time limit for them to lift the curse otherwise permanently stayed in dog form either, it's only added in the drama doesn't exist on the webtoon

Not me shedding tears only after watching one clip from future ep (when it's not even close to one minute length), the foreshadowing... noooo

Def AJTL (me stucked at ep 28 WoL), the character's writing of AJTL so far is way superior than WoL they don't even compete, imho. AJTL gives you mature couple vibes too & balance between thrilling stuff and hilarious joyous moments, you'll gonna love the squad, each one of them are just precious!

No need to tell me what kind of SK public like, I'm totally aware of it.

But like I said before, regardless the result, her taking every measure she could to counter her false accusation is what matters the most for consistency in her character's writing.
The same FL they introduced earlier will be gone in rage than be a total damsel with 0 backbone the show has turned her character into, when she's not in a totally helpless state & still have more public & collegues favour if she wanted to reveal the truth, but the show choose not to & let her do what? nothing. For what reason? None.

Hence for me it makes no sense & she's acting out of her character.

The writing is inconsistent & quite underwhelming so far, I expect better esp with this kind of cast (they're basically the reason I still give this drama a chance)

Ik what they're doing to the FL is probably just a setup to make the FL meet the ML again, but honestly it's a bit ridiculous for them to show the FL's strong mentality/high confidence & established carrier only for it to get ruined in split seconds by some mere pathetic assistant with a victim's mentality & basically a nobody and that too without showing the FL doing anything about to counter the false accusation?

If I were the FL, I'll hold a major presscon & infront all of those cameras, I'll ask them to see me right through in the eyes & see the truth, I'll openly ask my assistant to see herself in the mirror & see if she can lie to herself coz she know none of her saying is true, and hope that she feel shameful for the rest of her life & hv some conscience otherwise she doesn't deserve to be called as human.
Then I'll exposed her cheating bg to show there's more into the story than what's being told and ask the journalist to provide any proof if this so called abusive mentor-mentee is true & freely called my colleagues, otherwise them supporting this kind of people who take advantage of them is unfortunate but I won't ever apologize for any mistake I never did.

Tho probably it doesn't make much difference but it's just too jarring to make the FL run & hide without doing anything, she just loosing her backbone & went crumble like that & even with other two sister who's being told as powerful & strong??

I honestly would like to hear your thoughts after completing this drama coz I can't bring myself to complete it eventhough I've been dragging myself to watch it further coz for me relationship means two people putting effort to make it work but here I don't see the FL appreciate the ML neither putting her effort hence I can't support these two people to be together. Being ruthless to your opponent is okay but to your partner too, hell no. The FL here has been degraded from a strong smart FL to a spoiled one imo. Hence I appreciate the writing of the FL (and ML) on JTL more than WoL. JTL = A Journey to Love

That's ok, WoL has a very good start as well for me (I've even promoted it left & right) lol, their earlier ep is the best esp when they're bickering, the problem for me rising after the leads catch on feelings as the power dynamics has become so jarring & unbalance, I feel like one manipulating the other knowing his feeling etc, but ik different drama for different people so who knows it's different for you, just went with which one hook you the most👍(or maybe both if you have the time) 🤭

Don't want to jinx it but if they keep this up, they might become drama of the year for me, 12 ep passed & I can say this drama has been amazing thus far!!

They hv admirable character's writing from the baddass mature respectable ML FL, joyful squad, grey opponents, to even the littlest supporting or the recently added ones all are intriguing & interesting to see, they show character development, convey good message, beautiful angst to bring them closer, well balanced moment between light & dark moment, gotta say well done show!

Def JTL, I started WoL long way back & despite initial liking I stucked at ep 26 or so coz the FL has become one of the most annoying FL I've seen with her stubborn big pride & childish tantrum keep taking ML's love for granted hence I can't support the leads to be together.
JTL on the other hand, has admirable mature FL ML characterization to even their supportings & opponents, they hv a better writing with more balance power dynamics & tone, good conflict & meaningful message, I'm up to date with it & so far they're far better by miles.
The opponents on WoL (aside the 1st one) hv been poorly written, w/ one being delulu, another being a fool. On JTL the opponents mostly grey characters so it's more intriguing as you can't predict whom to hate/ root for.

The simple answer too would be because majority people like these kind of roles so why not.

While I'll be delight & remain hopeful for him to take more mature roles (coz oh the potential!!) but honestly with fully jammed packed schedule he has rn, I feel like I shd be grateful if he can continue enjoying his acting carrier & hopefully with that he'll take more drama project coz seeing him onscreen has been a blessed for me so far & ik what kind of torment if you adore an actor but they only take 1 drama project every 2 or 3 years apart

If you follow his work then you'll know that he took diverse role too, ie: his character on Hit the Top, Rookie Historian, Island, Decibel & the upcoming Wonderful World. It's just the ones who got popular are his characters adapted from the webtoon, so that only means this kind of characters adores by many & goes well with the mass/ viewers preference, why put the weight on him then?

If anyone's to blame then maybe it shd be direct to the webtoon author who creates 'similar' character & keep casting him coz they find him represent their creation best & prolly viewers too for making this 'similar' character popular 😂

People often blame him for getting similar roles when actually they just don't/ won't watch his other roles when it's different.

It's his right, let him choose what he want, what he like, it's his own life, his own carrier, you can simply ignore if it's not your taste, many ppl enjoy his drama. And Seo won is different than Suho, it's all just a prejudice from initial impression & I'm glad he took this role coz gosh ep 8 will be the death of me, his acting there is 🤌🔥
