The answer is prolly simple, some ppl may hv tendency to vent their frustating life into pressing those who below them, Yi Joo might not below them in terms of social status but with her kind & serving personality & her being an adoptive daughter, might give her a total pushover image to them who is easy to pressed.
As for SH, YR might just be his type so he feel drawn to her, not that deep. But YJ was there holding him & with the pressure he gets from his leech kind of family, he may just want an easy escape & fell for the wrong marriage.
Though gotta say nothing beats Se Hyeok's mother & sister, I almost feel bad for him to have both a mother & a sister who felt more like a leech than family, they disgust me more with their shameless & embarassing behaviour tbh

An absolutely adorable & hilarious series from beginning to end, such an easy watching & they manage to make me feel engaged & look forward for every single ep without failing. Great dynamics between the leads, sizzling chemistry & cute side characters without any annoying characters dominating screentime as most of it were spent for the leads ❤️ & most of the villains are actually funny💕. 9.5/10 from me. Mind that I don't even normally rated a drama this high even those w/ my favs on it or even those w/ high budget ones. Am totally loving this & can see myself rewatching it soon, it's just that entertaining w/ not even a single boring ep. Am lowkey hoping for season 2 too as well, it'd be good to see them again in the modern time 😄

The constant delayed airing time the broadcasting channel keep giving with only 1 ep per week & often 1 ep per two weeks schedule (crazy, right?!) is to blame for their low rating. The broadcasting channel ruin their momentum & it feels as if they're deliberately sabotaged it. However, even despite their disastrous airing time, they still manage to hv a good ranking on OTT channel (even #1 on most countries) that's due to the drama itself is actually good, very adorable & a total cuteness overload 💕
This show keep being sooo adorable, an entertaining cute fluff & am totally loving it ❤️ Seo Won's birthday scene coming up soon & hopefully they'll follow the webtoon closely coz iykyk 🤭❤️🔥🫠
