It's a really bad drama.. and it angers me with how stupid it is. Like for real couldn't they have a better script…
Idk, it's good for me, the only romcom I liked this year aside Love to Hate You & find it has a better script among other romcom I watched/tried this year. There might be a lot of annoying characters being introduced but to me the leads interaction, how their characters has been written & develop so far is more than enough to make up for it.

It's so annoying to see how none of the immortals in the heavenly realm are actually useful/capable enough to be called immortals, like none of them know martial arts? they're even weaker & lamer than human in the mortal realms, lmao it's sad how most of them only stood up there w/ their (o.0) face 24/7 π₯²π Like, the revealation doesn't even matter since none of them are actually useful to be of a help for the main leads to beat HX π€§
I feel sorry to those who watch the adaptation first before the original, coz I'm pretty sure the acting from the adaptation will be nowhere near the original & they'll be missing out all the feeling from being blown away not knowing what the plot is actually about.
Coz their target audience r youngsters & they mostly watched them on OTT platform & with MLL sits on #1 spot in most countries (mine sits at#1 from the moment they start airing till now), I think they performing well & more than enough. Why so many salty comment from ppl who don't even actually watch it here, lol.
Imo MLL is one of the best romcom coming in 2023 & this is coming from someone who dislike King The Land for having no plot & 0 organic romance development, as very well See You in my19th Life for having an eyeroll worthy disturbing romance w/ pedo vibes.
For once, I can say the writer here does her job for giving a thoughtful talk between the leads & organic development of their relationship, mutual understanding before romance, building in trust, etc.
I'm sure there won't be any noona romance here given the premise, but Dang! I seen some reuters from their filming & CEW style for this drama is a Banger, I mean, badboy-ish vibe w/ long hair, untidy looks, riding motorcycle w/ all those black leathers π₯ now I'm lowkey feel noona romance might works for them too coz gosh, ain't they both just gorgeous?! Lol, that's okay I too often feel the burnout from watching dramas & rarely found good romcom thesedays (though so far this drama works for me & able to make me feel invested), but I get that it can work differently for others. Our mood/ condition when watching does sometimes affect how we perceive things π Btw, OOT, mind to tell how do you able to set different font to write on mdl? π
This drama is more character driven, you can see how he's slowly opening up, how ML FL communicates & gradually getting to know eachother better, imho this thing itself alr way more refreshing than most romcom who doesn't give a damn/ show any effort to make a believable build up romance & rather make them instant, for instance the recent romcom King The Land & See You in my 19th Life.
