That teaser is pure FIRE!!! 🔥🔥🔥 The umbrella scene reminds me of Ji Chang Wook & Song Yoon Ah's umbrella scene on The K2 (the best thing happened from the whole drama but totally got ignored & wasted there), my sunken ship 🤣
Previously I was ok with Gwan Hee despite his obvious big ego coz he's straightforward & funny most of the time (his bantering with Ha Jeong is seriously entertaining) but that bonfire night change my perception as he's getting worse and worser everytime he talk. I hope he doesn't end up with any of the girls coz they deserve someone who treated them better than a spare & not someone whose ego need to be boast all the time.
Among the boys, I think Jin Seok has the best personality & Min Hyuk is actually charming (tho I wish he wasn't that set with Gyu Ri) As for Min Woo, I'm glad he's starting to open up & receive more attention he deserves, he's adorable & the closest to my type actually.
As for the girls, Ha Jeong is such a girl crush, the moment she snapped & put Gwan Hee on his rightfully place I was screaming with joy, girl know her priority best, she's my fav along with Hye Seon & Minji <3
So looking forward to this & Our Interpreter, Chen Xing Xu is ❤️ Esp this one coz the premise reminds me of Love is Sweet which's my fav modern cdrama, bickering couple is my weakness, though I don't normally took interest on modern cdrama
It's obvious that the mains died along with the gang, 10 years later then CY also died, the kid is somewhat an angel of death who help her to meet her fellow comrades in the paradise
can you please elaborate more ? so the last scene was just hallucination?
It's not that farfetched if that's what you meant with world building, given CY never had a closure with Shisan, esp since they can't even find his body, so her memory of him is too unforgetable & lasted with her deeply
I don’t know if I should finish this drama so far I love it so much I’m on 27 but I don’t know if I should…
Don't worry, it's not a bad ending at all at least for me, if it's called BE then I'll take it as Beautiful Ending 😁, many may hv a strong reaction at first but after they all calm down & hv time to think it through, the ending is actually befitting & it doesn't neglect how beautiful their journey and how amazing this drama is, imo the ending even making it more memorable & unforgettable, you can see how numerous ppl having a big withdrawal from this beautiful drama (me included)
that last one minute ending honestly isn't necessary and kinda ruin it for me.i accepted that they all gone, no…
It's an obvious SE to me w/ CY joining the gang after 10years as she went to the same paradise (NSS, the kid might be just a baby angel who'll lead CY to meet our gang in the paradise), I actually liked the ending coz at least they're all reunited & having HEA although it's in another world 🤣 Coz idt the leads can be seen/captured happy after all the lost they've gotten through with so many deaths of their dearest friends, esp for Ning, so imo it's better this way & yup it's a 10/10 for me too 💗
Still at my withdrawal fase (I've even dropped all of my cw coz my mind still stucked on AJTL & nothing seem to be interesting anm) Glad I find more AJTL crumbs, Fang Yi Lun's (our Yu Shi San) interview with engsub ❤️
A Journey to love all the characters here indeed, the biggest ensemble of characters I loved in 1 drama, from the mains, supportings, even the supposed to be main lead opponents, probably the best character's writing I've seen ever. I've even liked the ending coz it's align well with their characters & I find it's really beautiful and very memorable.
They gave me heavy withdrawal unlike any other drama I watched this year, I still can't move on & keep rewatching scenes, bts, looking for any crumbs, updates, read other viewers feedback etc
Alen Fang successfully made into my top fav actor this year, first time discovered him on The Longest Promise & fell in love with him completely, he has become my biggest SLS with A Yuan, a mature, down to earth, caring and dependable guardian
& here, a total opposite character but just as charming, my forever cassanova boy with deep thoughts Shi San.
Hope to see more drama with him as main lead & hopefully with good scripts ❤️
I came to love all the actors in here too, such a discovery, I look forward to see more drama project with them ♡
so I stopped watching somewhere around episode 26 but I was wondering, did this drama end poorly? the iqiyi heat…
To me the last 12 ep is even greater with all the suspense, nailbiting, heartwrenching & tearjerker beautiful moments and I loved every single ep including the ending (I've even watched them twice). I bawled my eyes out & drowning on my own pool of tears but every single tears I dropped is totally worth it. The plot got even more complex at the end & they even settle with both Wu & An countries matters so for me they ended it well & not a single dragging/boring moments until the very last minute.
