You've got to watch LAR even if it's only for Cheng Yi, his character there alone is worth 1000/10, a ML who teach us how a sincere love can be, the best ML tho age wise Si Feng is younger than YY but both are equally great.

For modern drama, am waiting for South Wind Knows My Mood (rumor said it's scheduled to be air on 2022 after Immortal Samsara)

LAR is my fav Xinxia & Si Feng is ultimate fav ML character of mine but I can assure you this drama has one of the best love story Xinxia drama ever made & great characterization of ML FL character.
Their love is really beautiful where the ML and the FL both have a strong unwavering love towards eachother & equally sacrificed themselves for eachother's well being.

I fully agree with you, both love YD just as much ❤️ it's just their situation on Heavenly realm works more unfavouring to YY than TZ in the mortal realm. It doesn't mean YY loves YD any lesser than TZ does. YD just never seen YY sacrifical and what he had he done for her, I hope she found that soon 🥺

So far from what I know no complete eng translation yet so I hv to deal w/ machine translation one & tbh eventhough I like what I read (the pitiful yet twistedly dark character TTJ is, the sensual atmosphere the leads hv, Li Susu interesting character) & find their plot is refreshing, am really struggling with the bad eng translation because it's hard with all the realms, dream seq, artifacts & plenty characters to deal with as most XinXia always hv.
Hence after I think I've read enough, I skipped through some chapters & went for the last few chapters of their ending & I really2 love that part so I decided to wait for the drama instead unless I could find the complete translation before the drama is airing (pls lemme know if you ever find one tho) 🤣

As for Gyu Min, it's just sort of my wish & expectation towards him & I may feel dissapointed but I'm in no way judging his overall character
because clearly I may knew nothing about the nature of their relationship.
Honestly, he's quite hard to read, he may seem cold upfront (towards Ha Eun) but am not sure if he did it out of spite/ due to their relationship ended bitter or because he just simply don't care 🙈

It's likely because Ji Yeon personality itself is so chill & mature, she's one straightforwarded girl & I really love her for that. Imo it's not because of the length of their relationship neither because they hv lesser fight.

And what I hope for Gyu Min is not for him getting back w/ Ha Eun but to sit together & talk it out, not avoiding her like she's somewhat a bug or something. They may fight alot & broke their relationship but at least she deserved to be treat as a human w/ feeling too, imho.
If he's feeling icked by her & there's no chance of them getting back tgt, it's better to tell her upfront before the show I think or even by now.
The way he seem to rubbing off his new relationship doesn't sit well either with me (telling others how messy NY after she got drunk in his car), come to her room & sit on her bed on their first date knowing Ha Eun is her roommate & it's even Ha Eun's first day at the house, etc).
I just don't see any courtesy from GM nor respect towards Ha Eun as his ex, unlike all the other couple do for their ex.

Na Yeon doesn't even make it obvious infront of Hee Doo yet it's enough to make Hee Doo flippin' out like that let alone if Hee Doo receive the same treatment as Ha Eun got from Gyu Min? Or if Na Yeon received this kind of treatment from Hee Doo.

Maybe we'll get to know more of their broken relationship later & I may change my view but it's just what I feel currently despite I like Gyu Min the most before I see his treatment towards his ex.

As likely happen with most Cdrama pairing, fans issue 😅 some Bai Lu fans want new co-partner for her & some LYX fans are hurted by it so they want another partner for him too.
Bai Lu&LYX had a really good relationship tho, they promised eachother to act on historical/xinxia drama together because they hv so much fun while filming LIS & then TTEOTM casting just realized those wishes *& am super happy to hear the news 🤣

Oh it'd be surely heartbreaking & gut wrenching (their angst is on another level) & the novel itself is quite sensual so they did it really well with the casting (they hv explosive chemistry & real kisses on LIS) esp LYX match Tan Tai Jin character's appearance as described in the novel almost 100% 😂

Yes I think they're likely scheduled to be air on Q1 2023. I love this pairing from LIS, I'm weak at bickering couple & they hv the best chemistry w/ longest bickering in modern cdramaland for me so am really excited to see them getting paired again. As for TTOTM, you may need to check the plot to prepare your heart or check if it's your cup of tea 🤭
since it's quite dark & twisted with grey ML character unlike most XinXia (he is a demon lord) & the novel itself quite angsty and dark (no fluff) tho strangely I find quite many sweet scenes from their BTS so maybe they change it abit from the novel (as am not sure if they can pass censorship either if it stay true to the novel).

I don't like Ashes of Love (dropped it on ep 27) as I can root for the main leads & their characterization. But I fell hard on the main leads character here, Yan Dan, Immortal Samsara FL as very well Ying Yuan the ML.
The FL character here has 0 similarity to the FL in AOL except that she is a flower fairy.
Yan Dan is the best XinXia FL character I've seen & this is coming from a person who dislike FL character on AOL

Yan Dan is smart, witty, caring with alot of compassion & huge will to learn, she's a quick thinker & very logical person with a dash of drama queen side making her such a refreshing & hilarious character. Her lines in this drama is amazing & I truly adore her as a character (I'm a non Yan Zhi stans but I've become her new fans thanks to her character's portrayal & excellent acting from this drama)
