Fact is NDS & SDM are free to be as reckless, as immature, as foolish, as selfish & hot tempered as they want with their business BECAUSE they have their Sandbox which's HJP (& sandbox company), they absorb every damage of their failure & he become their emotional & physical punchbag. They treated him as a mere object which is the sandbox itself, don't feel the need to thank him but feel so entitled to blame him when anything goes wrong though it's due to their own mistakes.
So there you go guys, the message of this drama.

I just want to see HJP leave these bunch of toxic people for good (& SB company went off for awhile), and see what will happen to them if there's no one sandboxing them anymore, just like in real life, people like them will crash and burn rightaway & leave no trace, but here the writer romanticized everything & make them as if they're the heroes which's the biggest & lamest joke on earth, lmao

The writer is even harsher to HJP fate than us rating it as 5 or 1 x'D , lol jk!

Tbh even if we put HJP aside, the writing of this drama is so problematic & highlighting so many wrong message, so I don't think it's unappropriate to rate it as such.

Boring drama is better than any potential drama with toxic message, the writer just undo all the goodness from the drama if the overall message convey to the viewers are bad/unhealthy.

Me before ep 15: this drama still can be save if the writer give a decent 2 last ep, address what's wrong as wrong & put the main couple toxic love story to rest so the overall message won't be as bad as they're rn. I put my trust on the writer.

Me after ep 15: wtf, what is this shit they keep force feeding us, RIP Morals!!! *throw that trust over the writer to where it belongs= Trash

I can not believe that PHR didn't even realized THE HUGE WRITING FLAW & WORST MESSAGE SHE HAS SPREAD with this drama she has written, when it's so big as big as THE SUN!!
I'm seriously questioning her moral value!!!

PHR I don't know what's gotten into you, why would you even promote this kind of toxic love?? ML with no integrity but received all the blessings & everything has been served to him in a reserved gold plate!!! So unlikeable ML & FL & supporting casts!!! Almost all the characters in this drama gets on my nerves, it's like watching a kindergarteners playing in an office setup, & it's even worst than that because you keep mixing work place with romance & make this drama a total disaster!

Stop getting personal everytime, it doesn't look good on you!

1.Taking for granted: by NDS saying DM is the only thing he have, while in fact he has his parent support, investment for his business, parent's love, best friend who cherished him etc
2. Taking advantage from the girl: keep touching DM, stroking her hair, touch her face, patting her head, hands, kiss her & taking advantage of her feelings when she doesn't know that he isn't the man she think he is. Any decent man will pull their feet one step backwards at the very least & draw boundaries but NDS keep went forward with it.
3. Ungrateful with no integrity: he wouldn't have a chance with DM & SST will already get conned and won't be as succesful as they are rn, but look what he did to JP, not even once he thank him, but he even cut every JP's way to grandma/Dalmi, the exclusive childish beach date, cut DM's way to JP by telling her that JP did everything for him, as a brother so everything will hv to go through from NDS.
And it's not even enough, he punch JP when he only stating facts that Yong San has asked him to.
4. Opportunist & manipulative: he know that he wont hv a chance with DM if he didn't use the lie to his own advantage, so he insist to keep the lie when it's benefitting him, he did everything he can to get DM feelings no matter how wrong his way is & it came at someone else's expense.
GM ask him to not reveal the truth regarding her eyes, but he told DM anyway because he'll be the one who will consol DM so that he can get a brownie point from her.
He wont reveal to JP eventhough he know what Grandma's meant for JP, because it will give him the benefit.
NDS will take everyway he can to receive credits from DM & blocking every JP way for getting one. It's all competition for him. A very unfair one however.

This is a start up business we're talking about, mistakes = loosing money >> whose money is it? Investors, and he gamble it out just to impress a girl (looking at his gestures who keep seeking for her attention).
3 years time skip & he learns nothing.
This is the exact same thing that resulting DM got fired back then, his ego gets the better off him, keep trying to have the upper hand over JP no matter how irrational it may become.

Watching this just for HJP character, to see whether he'll get his happiness he deserve otherwise I'd have dropped this drama long ago, main couple were meh when they're together & main ML is so irritating (attitude) tho I like the actor, his character is just so badly written. On the other hand the 2nd male lead character's writing is stellar & stole the whole show for many eventhough his screentime on the later half of the series is very limited/ badly reduced.

Not necessarily Ji Pyung but the overall message will be sent to the viewers is the determine factor.
Given how NDS has no character development if they make DoDal as the end game, the message will be all toxic.
Be an opportunist & manipulative person, granted everyway no matter what it is just to impress the girl including loosing your own self & how foolish it may seems doesn't matter, be an ungrateful person & take everything for granted, taking advantage from the girl is fine, etc and you'll get the girl.

While the message will be all different if HJP is the endgame, how with being patient and selfless, the universe gives you their blessings.
Or even if he's not the end game but SDM doesn't end up with NDS AND They make NDS acknowledge his mistakes I think the overall message will be better than them making NDS SDM as the endgame.
